I really want Joe to stay, if I was him, and I loved Chelsea as much as he says he does, just accept what they are offering, get on the pitch and prove you deserve another 'improved' contract next summer.

Paolo didnt play too badly today, so its either him or Yuri to play LB as we REALLY dont want Flo playing there, we need a performance like vs West Ham from him. Alex, I hope, will retain his place at CB. It will pretty much be the same starting line up as today with LB being the only position that could alter, I would like to see Joe Cole get game time, all be it from the bench I presume as I dont see CA dropping Anelka or Malouda. This I feel is going to be one of them classic European nights we all love at the bridge, all standing up, singing until are voices go. WE CAN DO IT.

Florent Malouda Develops Into A World-Class Star
Luke replied to kakuta44's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
When he first joined us I thought he was terrible, he was slow, his distribution was poor, and he couldnt dribble. But that all changed when Hiddink took over last January, Flo was a changed player, he was even chipping in with a fair few goals towards the end of last season, and he has carried on his consistant form this season too. Ok, so he is never going to be a Cristiano Ronaldo or the kind, but he does a job, and his performance today vs the Hammers was world class. -
Its going to be between Drogba and Ivanovic. Looking at Terminator X's list of previous winners, I think Drogba is due it TBH. Ivanovic may get players player of the year.

Havent seen the goals yet, but according to Sky Sports News, Scotts goal was unstoppable. Good win though, looking forward to Football First.

He reminds me of Frode Grodas! Was a bag of nerves at times, then surprises everyone with an outstanding performance when it really matters.

'Chelsea are inferior to Man-Utd' says Ruud Gullit
Luke replied to Term-X's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Its a shame really, loved him when he was with us, but was soon found out to be a useless manager, couldnt hack it at LA Galaxy FFS. -
Amazing player, his dribbling was world class, his pace was lightening quick, he scared defenders, sadly, it didnt work out during his final season with us, and its a shame we dont have a winger with them qualities now.

Of course they wont, he doesnt play for Chelsea!! What a wanker, I read last week he said if someone in Argentina done what Terry had done, they would be killed as it isnt accepted.... UMMMMMM! POT, KETTLE, BLACK Carlos??
-
Not Chelsea standard I'm afraid. Arteta maybe?<br>
-
Ivanovic has been playing out of his skin

Yeah that was another freak accident with Scott Parker iirc. Thinking about it there have been quite a few bad ones: Cisse x2 Nillis (Aston Villa striker about 10 years ago) Larsson (when at Celtic) Di Matteo (vs St Gallen iirc in the old cup winners cup) Le Saux (when at Blackburn) Newton (95-96 season I think, collided with Kevin Hitchcock) Alan Smith (Man Utd vs Liverpool)

Poor bloke, RIP Keith.
-
He needs to get game time under his belt in order to improve his fitness, then the form will come back, just hope its not too little too late for Joe. Downing, Young, Milner, Lennon (injured currently I know) are all probably ahead of him in the pecking order for England

I thought Deco had already left LOL. Missing - Deco - last seen: on his debut for CFC, been AWOL ever since.

This got me looking on youtube, jesus christ look at this one from the Belgian league (not for the fainthearted)

Shawcross didnt intend to foul Ramsey, let alone hurt him, he was going for a loose ball like any defender would do. And as for the picture, that I think was taken a split second after Shawcross and Ramsey collided. I can see him being back in light training by the time pre season comes around, and back on a pitch by Xmas. David Busstt's break was horrific, its definately the worst I've ever seen. http://busycowboy.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/david-busst.jpg

I agree CM 100% Also, I only thought of this a few days ago, if Bridge wasnt already at City, would JT have moved? Maybe he would have, Hmmmm.

Brilliant, fond memories, legend.

Well said Terry, short and sweet, but to the point.

Bellamy.... http://www.thespoiler.co.uk/index.php/2008/06/16/craig-bellamy-beat-up-a-charity-worker-in-sierra-leone

I agree with everything in that post. Bridge played a big part in our success, how quickly fans forget. Im only interested in the football side of things, and I personally think Bridge has made a mistake by quiting England and refusing to shake hands. He is a PROFESSIONAL footballer, so chin up and just get on with it. Do it for your country. I agree 100% that the 'fans' at the weekend have just played right into the hands of the Chelsea hating media. Craig Bellemy, piss off you little cunt, you beat up women in clubs, assaulted that Man Utd fan, attacked a liverpool team mate, and your generally an annoying little cunt, so it really isnt your place to try and judge others. Stan Collymore, I remember the pictures on the front page of the newspapers of your missus' beaten face, do you? Yeah, great role model you were.

Deco seems to have been out injured all season, can see him moving on in the summer along with Ballack and unfortunately, Joe Cole. My god have we missed Essien.
-
For someone that clearly isnt a natural defender, he isnt doing too bad, pushes up a bit too much but thats only natural for a winger playing at full back. To be fair, anyone playing left back other than Ash isn't going to look half as good.
