I think when he was dumped to the bench it gave him the kick up the arse that he needed , tbh we haven't seen much of Drogba this season , also his ego is to big sometimes to just work hard when he is not in the team.

I don't know i think he has helped Torres this season , before that silly sending off he was playing well. i think we need to wait till at least Jan to truly see the effects of AVB's work.

I agree he has made some good changes and i feel we are moving in the right direction especially with Danny. Though we loose to Liverpool next week and Spuds go above us and win there game in hand , i cant see most of us being that optimistic. I believe he needs time , the quesion is will Roman give it him.

True , lower league teams already have sponsors on there backs now. its only a matter of time before its introduced for PL teams. I have to say it will be a shame when there are no grounds with there original names , but this is Modern Football now. A lot of traditions are disappearing quite rapidly.

Agreed we made a mistake with Diarra , Since Romeu made his first appearance he has looked the part and will hopefully get more playing time in the PL soon giving Mikel a run for his money.

Its a shame after his performances at the under 19's European Championships we all thought he would make the step up , but he hasn't... back to Kalou his main problem is consistency and decision making the latter he should have now sorted being here a while , the reason he should go is not because he is the worst player ever , its because he hasnt improved enough over the time he has spent here and the money spent trying to make him a better player. let he go to some mid table team where he will be appreciated for his contribution.

It will happen to us eventually , we need the money from the sponsorship , especially with a smaller ground.

Danny has the pace to beat a man , but he should be deployed as a striker not a winger... we need someone like hazard , though he is a more natural left winger.

Must Say I agree with you Steve , City have a bigger stadium and have worked around things with the naming rights. Chelsea knew the FFP was coming in and have made some changes to the structure. Having players like Malouda and Anelka on 100k a week is ridiculous considering there playing time there not even first choice any more. This makes Qualifying for the CL all more important due to the revenue it brings in and with no guarantee any more that we will finish in the top 4 we could see us quite far behind the two Manchester clubs and with Liverpool , arse and spuds sniffing about (we will wait and see what happens with Newcastle They haven't played any tough games yet) we could see ourselves being a top 6 club. I do think AVB is the man to change things and bring us success , but what he needs is time which is a thing hard to come by for Chelsea managers in the past. We now have to adapt to the change of the PL we cant just chuck 50 million at a bad dip of form anymore. This season truly will tell the future of our club.

Of course it will. But can anyone here honestly say they wont support chelsea if were not in the cl next year? I'll be honest Im sick of worrying about our position in the league. Now a days its like I cant just enjoy watching a game because every game is a must win so we can keep our status. I love this club but the pressure to keep us at the top level is mad. I'm sorry if people don't Agree but I just wanna enjoy watching my team again. No pressure...
