Well Said I think all of us last month wouldn't have dreamed of finnishing 2nd/3rd it was a battle for 4th , i think we have shown in the last month no radical changes need to be made in the summer just a few creative players , one of the plus sides to this season is the emergence of Danny Studge and in a perfect world he will come back to the squad and Kalou wont get a sniff at first team football ( after yesterday he is just an impact sub at best). Im looking forward to next season already every team goes through a season like this lets show the doubters next year

Think we should be happy with second after our season. Kalou was awful and Alex should have started looking forward to next season and I hope Carlo is the boss. We have done fantastically well to be 5 th a month ago to being 2nd. Couple more players with so creativity and we will be fine. Ktbffh

I cant see Yuri and Malouda in the same team. i think carlo will go 4-4-2 with Torres and Drogba upfront , like he did against spurs.

Really not nervous about this game , maybe its because i had already accepted we lost the title our poor run of form got me used to the idea. im sure it will all change when the match starts..

Its also fustrating knowing how weak the other teams are we should have won this league easily.

Yeah i forgot about their midweek CL Ties but they could already have the tie won at Shalke in the first leg so it all depends on how they do there.

I think they could drawn not win. which would put us in a good postion if we win both our games and everton do us a favour on saturday.

Looking at the table doesn’t seem so bad as a few months ago here are the remaining games for us arse and utd. Chelsea H WEST HAM H TOTTENHAM A MANCHESTER UNITED H NEWCASTLE A EVERTON Manu Utd H EVERTON A ARSENAL H CHELSEA A BLACKBURN H BLACKPOOOL Arse A BOLTON H MANCHESTER UNITED A STOKE H ASTON VILLA A FULHAM Looking at the fixtures we would have to beat both the spammers and spuds and hope united drew with Everton at home ( which is unlikely) and for arsenal to beat them which would leave united on 71 points and us on 70 going into the game at old Trafford then we would need to beat united at home for the second season running for a serious chance of clinching the title. Also if arse beat united and Bolton they will be on the same points as us so the major game will be at the emirates between these two, i think if we just keep winning we have got a shot , but im going to be realistic and say we will finish 2nd as I feel we still need to take one game at a time after the season we have had. Though arsenal do worry me because if they beat united i feel they could go on and win it with us having to play united a draw between us would play right into their hands. Thoughs ?

Great results. Keeping my feet on the ground though second place Finnish when we all thought we would struggle to get city ain't so bad:) just gotta keep winning and see what happens.

We did have an easy start to the season compared to most , i think this is where complaceny crept in , also some players might of thought they just had to turn up to win . confidence is great but cockyness is not i feel we underestimated some teams.

In the Premier League we beat all top 4 teams ( i know liverpool didnt finish top 4) But you dont do that and not deserve to win the league.

I think the max points we can get is 79 right and that means us winning every game im all one for being optimistic , but i wouldnt write off spurs when they come here and us going to old trafford and winning yes we have done it before but we all know how this season has been , i just want to be realistic and a good end to the season would be finnishing second seeing as we where on the brink of 4th/5th earlier this season.

We need to just concentrate on winning , and finnishing 2nd/3rd anything else is a bonus , Arse would have to beat united for us to stand any chance of winning the league. becuase united will beat everton and blackburn.
