His only young , so time is on his side. i think two seasons loaning him out would be ideal , i dont think 6 months will turn him into a Chelsea regular. get him in a Bolton and hopefully he will emulate Danny. If you remember Drogba had a slow start here , though he was brought in to be a first team regular. he has years to become the best.

Have to agree , this is one of our toughest fixtures evey season now , i think i would take a draw if we are to go on the last matches we have had with them.

I think time will tell , im not convinced with Dawson , Dann is a great prospect and will be wasted playing at Blackburn. if we are to invest in Cahill , then i think he will be a capable signing.

Exactly Playing Arse will never be easy , i wish we had played them early in the season when they were being battered , the 8-2 was a strange occurrence i don't expect to see us beat them by that margin. AVB will have a selection headache with deciding who to play with the Drog and Torres both available (if they are).

Nice Detail. We defiantly need to work on our set pieces , i worry now every time a team gets a free kick around out box. I think the main culprit for some of the goals this season has been the high line we have been playing. as our defenders are not used to it after Carlo.

Have to agree with this. I think the young signings we made in the summer have been good aditions. I think we are a right wingers and a playmaker away from mounting a serious title challenge.

I think Ivan is a more likely future Captain than luiz he has the leadership quality's. but who knows who will come in before Terry retires.

Riccy C , took a lot of risks , not in the same way Luiz does he used to hold shirts in the box etc.

Cant see Frank ever being great in the holding role as his defending is a bit suspect at time. Frank is best at what he does standing back and arriving it late to the penalty box and scoring goals. when he stops doing that i think he will retire. I still think he can have a limited role in the squad over the next couple of years his not finished yet.

Would be a good option , though isn't he injury prone ?

He just needs to improve on his basic defending skills , but that will come when he matures. Though we don't want it to jeopardize his fantastic attacking ability though , its a matter of him knowing when to attack and knowing when to just defend. great prospect though.

After the Bolton game its pretty evident that Danny is quite confident in the RW role , though other than Anelka playing there we really dont have a natural RW we have two strikers playing out of position. if we are going to play 4-3-3 for the foreseeable future we need to go into the market for a Natural RW , though i would like to see danny flourish there as he wont get a chance in the CF role. The left hand side is covered this season with Mata and Flomo and maybe Katuka in jan if he has a good loan spell.

Its not that Luiz is clumsy its his decision making , i think Ray Wilkins pointed out against Bolton , instead of just clearing the ball in a tight situation he seems to try the impossible to retain the ball. He is still young and i think he will be the best defender we have in a couple of years time.
