  1. Valencia have told Manchester City they want more money, according to Guillem Balague. City's transfer sagas are really confusing.
  2. They are really crazy there... Funnily enough, most of them still think Pogba will sure be a City player.
  3. After the game i opened twitter and saw 'Otemandi to City - Done Deal'. It felt like the 4th goal in our net. It will be extremely disappointing if until the end of the window City will get Otamendi+KDB while we just get Baba, and Stones wouldnt make it much better. That will be a serious show of intent from City, and the lack of it in Chelsea. Especially when we're talking about City, a club who is under the threat of FFP, like us. So it leaves no excuses.
  4. Shocking? we dont have anyone to replace Ivanovic and Oscar is injured, so whats so shockingly wrong in our line up?
  5. I thought its clear this was just a way to express my feelings towards The Sun and other papers. So im glad i dont have to come across with it on a daily basis. Obviously i wouldn't veto against moving to England because of the media in the country...
  6. would've been more pissed if i thought you're in the wrong, but still a nonsense reply. Whats my or your nationality has to do with it?
  7. Kovacic to Real Madrid for 30-35 million Euros according to Di Marzio and Gazzetta. Thats a big one.
  8. This is just sick, English media is sick. Shocking stuff. Im glad im not from the UK so i dont have to bump into all of their bullshit every day.
  9. You definitely seem to think he is... Reus is a great player, one of the best wingers in the world, but yes because the way he moves with the ball isnt "unstoppable", he falls behind Hazard. Its a lot easier to get him out of the game and he cant be consistent like Hazard. But Hazard is a special talent, no shame in not being as good as he is. "Messi, Hazard, and Robben are literally the only 3 players in the world who have that close control dribble ability" - thats why they are the best. I didnt say there are 15 better wingers than Reus, read carefully, i was talking about players with better close control and dribble. I have at least 10 in my head.
  10. Ridiculous. Just ridiculous. Reus doesnt have half of the ball control abilities Hazard have.. its not even close. I cant believe a football fan can look at those two players and say Reus is anything near Hazard in terms of close control, dribble. Reus isnt even top 15 in the world in those attributes. He is extremely light and the ball doesnt "stick" to his foot like with Messi, Hazard, Robben and others. I saw todays game, it was embarrassing, a walk in the park for Dortmund. Reus didnt stand out and didnt need to. But it doesnt take much for people to overrate him because he's somehow very likeable.
  11. Who would have thought that you should not speak about a player when you didnt see the player play. Crazy idea. Some things that are very clear for one human being are not that clear for the other. Anyway, as much as i like to see Costa doing well and hate how we got Cuadrado instead, i wouldnt push it too much. He'll continue to be very dangerous but I dont think Costa can grow into a 'world class' winger. He has limitations in his game that will be shown. If he could get enough games as the RW, not the LW, he'll do great. In LW he'll become predictable.
  12. "His current club PSG want to renew his contract but Raiola has arrived to know what sort of price they would be looking to sell for should no agreement be reached. Chelsea are known admirers of the player and Raiola was in London yesterday on business". http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/eng/psg-raiola-to-paris-to-discuss-van-der-wiel-the-situation/
  13. Obvously its not exciting like buying a midfielder or an attacking player, but i think people should understand that our current defenders just encouraging a very conservative approach, because they are so slow and unathletic. Replacing Ivanovic, Cahill and eventually Terry is imo the most important thing left to do in the first XI, if we want to play more proactive football. Playing the likes of Baba, Stones and Zouma is the step in the right direction if fans want us to play differently than the second half of last season. And i believe Jose wants it too. But it remains to be seen if Baba and Zouma/Stones will actually get to be starters soon enough.
  14. He signed, should move the topic. £5M fee btw. Every nobody (yes Romeu is a nobody) is costing £5m in todays Premier League... thats quite funny.
  15. There is no way he'll leave right now, when Jose is saying he's happy with his midfielders and Mikel is still here. Ramires is our 12th man, no question about that.
  16. Wow still talking about that, always amazes me how this forum just never run out of words or energy when it comes to Mourinho, and some other subjects actually (Oscar!).
  17. You just copied it from the sky bet section on sky transfer center? its there for weeks.
  18. Seen Pedro plenty of times obviously, are you sure you've seen those 3 players enough? With all dou respect that Pedro came from La Mesia, he was never an excellent dribbler or even an actual ball playing winger, and it was never his strong side. Technically it was always obvious Pedro is the least skilled attacking player in Barcelona. Fekir and Brahimi can easily remind you of Hazard's ball control (even if it's not the same of course, Hazard is very special), Pedro is no where near it.Pedro is not a regular starter for some time, he's 28 (not going to improve, probably won't get to his best from 2010-2011), those 3 players has future, and are hungry for success, spending 30m euros on Pedro seems just stupid for me when those players can be bought, serve the club for years, and imo add more to the team.
  19. I was fine with the idea of buying him at first, but it was just this desire for a new player. I feel that whatever midfield player we're buying next, he should have excellent technical abilities. No more Schurrle's, Cuadrado's, Salah's. Getting Pedro who is another one of those technically-wise, will just be a waste of our money. We'll all want a new winger in a few months. Fekir, Brahimi, Anderson, thats the only kind of wingers we should aim at IMO. Very skilled, can keep the ball well under pressure and dribble past players.
  20. He is slow and awful in 1 v 1 situations. Thats a limited defender in todays game. He cant play for a team who wants to play a high line and press high. Terry is the same. To play with one slow CB is maybe ok, but two is too much.
  21. Jose Mourinho said on DirecTV that Juan Guillermo Cuadrado is a substitute as Chelsea "has several top players." #CFC (AS) Mourinho on Cuadrado: "It's a position where we have Willian, Hazard, and other players who want to play as well - Moses, Kennedy & Ruben." Mourinho on Cuadrado: "One thing is to ask, another thing to buy. No proposal to sell . Nor do I think about possibility of him going." #CFC What does he mean there about "one thing is to ask, another to buy"? I just hate it when he says half things and keep it mysterious. I assume teams have asked about taking him on loan but it's not an option? Meanwhile, Italian source calciomercato say Inter will be looking to find the right formula to bring him to Inter, after selling Shaqiri. Their 1st target is known to be Perisic from Wolfsburg though.
  22. You're completely wrong tbh. Did you watched City last season? thats not how most small teams are playing against them, its very stupid to play like WBA are playing today. They dont press, they're not putting any effort to get the ball, they dont seem to want to attack. Last season City lost lots of points because of the small teams counter attacking them, having a real go at their defense, not giving them any credit because they knew their central midfield is a walk in the park, and their defense is very shaky. If what you're saying was the truth, City wouldnt be out of the title race since January. What happend since new year in Chelsea is a lot more complicated and bigger than "Teams found out what to do against us". In short, Mourinho gave up on attractive football because he was too cautious, wanted to win the title and wasnt sure we can keep going as we did until the new year.
  23. You're right about that. The issue of judging prices is that the British market became so crazy that £14m is small for a 21 yo LB. PL clubs can pay over the odds for players from France, Germany, Spain, and they wont feel bad about that. And the selling team, they are happy about getting so much money, a lot more than the "real value" of the player. Its happening in the last two-three years a lot and it will continue to happen even more, especially with the smaller clubs in PL.
  24. Thats not news. Attacking was never their weakness. This kind of attitude from the opposition is perfect for them.
  25. Thats not a small fee. English teams are having a real profit because the Euro is so weak.... nowadays 14m pounds is 20m Euros for Augsburg , definitely not a small fee for Baba. With that 6-10 more on bonuses its even too expensive. not that im complaining.
