Jose just said the Eto'o is the striker for him in home games, whats wrong? Dont like the line up, with Lampard instead of Oscar/Willian. Very week line up from Spurs though.. no Dembele, no Paulinho... wierd.
-
What did you saw from Van Ginkel that make you so excited about? In the very little i could see from him, he lacks some technical abilities, and what he does good is pressing and tackling. He can grow to be better, but i wouldnt count on him right now.
-
Schurrle, Torres and Ramires are so frustrating. This is not football that we're playing.
-
That was SOOOO cynical that it was actually funny...
-
I think Witsel is hugely overhyped in this forum. First few times i saw him i thought he has some real quality, but almost every time i saw him in Zenit he looked really soft, never one of the dominant players in the team. Just average, today i realise that at last.
-
I think if Imbula will come Jose would want him to be a starter besides Matic. From the very little I watched both, Imbula seems to be better on the ball, a player who can give direction to the attack, someone who can grow to be a good DLP. But again I watched very little.

Mourinho: "I have a team, but no striker. Falcao does not have a team. A player like him can't play in front of 3,000 people... AS Monaco is a club to end [your career with]" (Canal) What does it mean... I must know how our strikers feeling when they read Jose's quotes every week, he completely say it out loud that his strikers are crap lol
-
I really dont get it, who said that Imbula has the same skills as Chalobah? or if their talent is even comparable? Those "I rather give Chalobah a chance" are super ridiculous if you havent watched both enough. I havent, thats why i think their only similarity is that they're both tall black skinned CM's.

I know he was a very important figure this season, but he havent done it without Bastian/Thiago in a big game, i havent seen a real big DLP preformence from him in a big game yet, while i saw Gundogan. It doesnt mean he cant its just he havent played this role (a single DLP) enough, and if he'll come here he will play in a 4-2-3-1 besides Matic. I dont know if Kroos is a better passer or has better vision, but they are both great in it so i dont think its a "thing" to consider.
-
Gundogan has fantastic vision and passing abillity, speed and workrate, what more do you need from a DLP? and how Kroos gives us much wider range of applications? becuase he can shoot? the ideal is to have the CM that will complete our first line up, the fact we have Ramires in the squad doesnt metter because if Gundogan will come Ramires wont be a starter. To be fair, Kroos was injured when Bayern played against Barcelona/Juve in the CL, when they played on counter attacks. They did played like that against Arsenal and Kross was very good.
-
Were going to win the group, you dont know anything... we have Hemed+Ben Basat in attack, Natcho in midfield, the amazing Ben Haim in defense! Seriously it will be 1. BEL 2. Bosnia 3. Israel. When we'll definitely lose in the playoffs. But nice that Hazard, Lukaku and all are going to play here... i'll definitely go to see this game.

How come? i dont think there is a real difference. The guy that said Gundogan would give us nothing special lives in a world of his own. Gundogan imo is exactly the player we lack - a player that controls the game, has fantastic vision when he makes the right passes in the middle of the park and get the team going forword. He's both quick and fast, he can give a very good pressure play (A Dortmund player..), and he's a good enough defender. Kroos is a good alternative, but i think he fits the role less. While he is a great passer and a great playmaker, he does not have real experience in "running a game" on his own, controling a game, like Gundogan does, Alonso does, Schweinsteiger does. Kroos's role in previous seasons was the CAM like Oscar in Chelsea. He does have the skills to play as a CM and thats why he played that role when Bayern were short of options, and why this season when Bayern playing in a 4-3-3 he plays as a CM, or even when they play 4-2-3-1 i did saw him play at the pivot.. but the point is that he isnt a proven DLP like Gundogan. Another disadvantage is that he's pretty slow, that wont fit our style of play in attack, while Matic-Kroos wont be the fastest of midfields to say the least, and i think he's not as good as Gundogan as a defender. For me its: 1. Gundogan 2. Kross 3. Others Though my bet is on Imbula to be honest.

Cech Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpi Ramires Luiz Oscar Willian Eto'o Hazard

I liked what i saw from him in the few times i watched Marseille this season, but in the last months he isnt a regular starter. I checked it, and he started in like 3 of the last 8 league games. Need to ask why is that.

Chelsea have made an offer for Inter captain Zanetti, free agent in June: next year as player, then in management. Mourinho wants him. Javier Zanetti's preference is Inter Milan but Chelsea have made a "special" offer. (via @GugliCannavale) 2014/2015 season as player, from 2015 as sport director in collaboration with Mou.

So how we won the more important game two weeks ago? Very hard to beat a strong team like City at their home two times in two weeks. The intensity was much lower from our players, players who played great like Willian, Hazard and Matic played poor, very hard to win this kind of game again when we dont give our best. Pellegrini made the changes that he had to do because he tottaly failed in the first game, home team won. No need to make big statments after this kind of loss, when we showed them what we can do when were at our best just two weeks ago.
-
We dont need Fernando when we have Ramires and Matic and we obviously dont need Reus. My idea: In: Shaw (£25m) Gundogan (£25m) Costa (£32m) Courtois (recall) Lukaku (recall) Chalobah (recall) Out: Ba (£5m) Eto'o (free) Lampard (free) Cole (free) Mikel (£7m) Cech * I would prefer to see Torres out before Eto'o but i dont think it could happen. * The Cech-Courtois situation is a tough one but i believe we'll be very sorry to let Courtois leave. * I want Luiz to stay, but if he wont i would recall Zouma.
-
I think that no metter what you think, Mou wants him and he'll come. Personally i think he's the right choice if Rooney and Cavani wont come. He fits like a glove to this team.
-
You seriously couldnt noticed their awful defensive midfield? Toure and Fernandinho are both quality, but their defensive job. especially when teams counter attacking City, is just poor. Thats mainly because of Toure's laziness and poor stamina, and also the not-so-sophisticated Pellegrini and his tactics. I also think Navas is an average AM to have as a starter, he realy makes them predictable when they're struggle (whenever they're playing away), and their Central Defense is also quite poor as well. If they had no weaknesses they would have had more points than us, at least.

I prefer Gundogan - Matic. To spend so much money on two new CM's and still lack that DLP will be very stupid imo. Gundogan will make us a complete team. Pogba never ran a midfield, and i dont think he'll ever be as good as Gundogan in controlling a game. He's good at other things which imo we dont need so much more of when we have Matic and Ramires. Gundogan will bring something completely different, and he's very gifted on the ball like Pogba.
-
Perfect, that was just PERFECT. Matic is out of this world, what an amazing player. What a signing. Hazard... my god he's good.
-
What was better for us - 3 points against West Ham and a loss against City, or two draws in both games?

Breaking news: Sergio Aguero out for a month with hamstring injury.

How Lampard, how?

Muller and Gotze are AM's. Its like saying Hazard and Willian are CM's.
