I dont want to really go at him when he barley plays and cant create any sort of form, but every time he played this season he was awful imo (bar the 2nd fixture). I think he's worse than any of the other AM's and should be sold, we have a lot of talent on loan at this positions, and it will be better for him too.

I think we need him and anyone who is 1) Be dinamic in defense 2) Can pass the ball, move quick with the ball. Guarin can do that, its right he isnt the DLP we all want so much, but i think Mikel and Lampard are so awful that we can lose the title for the fact we are so relying on Ramires in midfield. I want us to make the most of this season, becuase the title race is wide open, and if the club can buy Guarin now and then buy a player like Gundogan/Pogba/Alonso in the summer that would be the best, i hope thats the way the club thinks.

The only DLP you can get in January is Cabaye i think, and maybe Jose isnt impress with him. Very few options in this area in the middle of the season.

I agree, but i think they are so frustrated with Benzema that they will easily throw him out for Falcao. i never understand why this forum seems to like Benzema that much, i hear (and think) very different things about this guy. Its probably true that Benzema is a better passer, better pivot striker and stuff like that, but i cant belive someone really thinks that makes him a better striker than Falcao or even close to him. Falcao is a different class, he's in a all other level, the fact Benzema can do more on the pitch doesnt mean he does it so well to be considered as good as a goal monster like Falcao. Ask any Real fan or the club himself if they will replace between them, what do you think they'll say? its not just his finishing, its the positioning, its getting passed defenders, Falcao is a 16 yard box genius, you cant say he's just a great finisher.

Great players? Nasri is extremly inconsistent, he's having an ok season but when was he realy 'great' except half a season in Arsenal? All Navas does is running wide.. a very flat RW. Both of them wouldnt get into the first 11 of Bayern, Real, Dortmund, Barcelona, Chelsea, PSG.. so i dont think they are good enough for a club who spends so much on players every summer. CIty are playing with only 2 AM's and i think Silva needs a better partner there if City wants to be as good as the top 3-4 teams in Europe. Its no coincidence they chased Isco all summer.

They wont get it in January, but I think CIty need to have better AM's than Nasri/Navas/Milner as a first choise.

First of all the fact that this season he plays as a CAM doesnt mean he's 'more naturally an attacking midfielder than a CM', thats a bulshit fact you just made up. He's a CM. Mikel is "Chelsea quality"? Guarin brings power, abillity to run and make breaks in midfield, he's techniquely gifted, can pass the ball forword, what does your beloved Mikel knows to do compare to that?

Its not "buying for the sake of buying", its buying becuase you need someone that much and our situation in this area is so awful that we can lose the league because of that, and look pathtic against the top teams in Europe in the CL. We can buy a CM now, and buy another one in the summer, a world class one. Right now you cant get Gundogan its not that hard to understand. Jose got himself into this situation, if we can fix it for the remainder of the season why not.

You got it wrong i think. I completely agree we do need a world class midfielder or a potentially world class midfielder like you said, but you cant get those players in January. You can get Gundogan (world class) or Witsel (potentially world class) only in the summer (Lars Bender is not in this level imo). So you're saying: "if we cant get them now, lets not buy anyone"? i think thats wrong, we need a player, even if its a player who next season will only be a squad player, we need this Guarin/Cabaye/whatever to be better in the current season... to fight fot the PL and to be able to compete better in the CL.
