Thats a lot to ask. too much imo. City wouldnt lose 3 points in their two home games. That little hope is not always that good...

How? even if we won yesterday we would still need Liverpool and City to drop 3 points. They only lost 2 today.

It shouldnt, we needed Liverpool and City to lose at least 3 points each. 2 drop points woudlnt help.

I think that with a top Striker and a top CM we should be the favourites, no metter what CIty are doing in the summer (unless they're bringing someone like Rues to play with Silva, keeping Aguaro, and make their defense alot better - and that requires more than buying Mangala, it requires some serious job). I think City should have got the title easily this season, but they proved yet again they dont have this big team mentality. I think we should and would bypass them next season.
-
I dont like CIty as champions, its a lot better than Livepool of course, but for the future i think it would have been better if City failed to win it. They're going to be our big rivals the next seasons and a title would bring them more confidence. Though when i think about it, they were bad last season (a season after winning the title).. and their mentality and character always seems questionable.. hope it wont change. It also means they won 2 titles against our 3 since the clubs got mega rich. Need to make the gap bigger next season.

Seems British media rushed it. 1. According to Di Marzio, Atletico dont want to let him go and now trying to extend his contract (and increase the exit clause). http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/chelsea-pushing-to-acquire-diego-costa-while-atletico-tries-to-extend-his-contract/ 2. Marca are saying British media are wrong, and there wasnt any big meeting between Chelsea and Atletico on wednesday after the match. They are saying the club doesnt want to let him go, and adding that Costa himself doesnt think about leaving just yet. http://www.marca.com/2014/05/03/en/football/spanish_football/1399108401.html You might be confused about the previous Marca article, but that article was saying: "according to reports in some of the British media". here: http://www.marca.com/2014/05/02/en/football/international_football/1399047921.html

yeah i guessed its bullshit

All of you here wanted Everton to win? Liverpool loses to palace, City loses to Villa. champions. Mark my words.

where?

Even if someone doesnt like Oscar, how can you ignore Willian? the 10# role is obviously his best position and i think he can really shine there next season.

Whats true? where did they say he'll leave?

I think its obvious, not winning the title next season would be a big failure. It doesnt mean Roman should sack Jose, but it will be a failure for Jose and he would say the same. It will be the 2nd season for him, we'll get the players he wants, its nothing like this season. it must end with the title imo. i dont think we should be too stressed out about that though... we have the right man to count on.
-
Win the league, thats all i want, and we should do it after we came so close to win it in Jose's first season. I dont think we should fear anyone, City, Liverpool, United... i think we should be a lot better than them next season. Ciy had the best squad, a squad that runs together for a few years, they're in their prime this season and they barely going to win it. Liverpool had a freak season that i dont think they're going to replicate. United have too much to change, im not sure about Van Gaal abilities to chance it all in a few months and im not sure they'll get the players they want without CL football. The leauge wasnt a must this season, i feel its a must for next season.

Preliminary discussions with #Hamburg have already taken place for Hakan Calhanoglu who Chelsea value at around £7.5m (Mail) in what position does he play? no pivot i guess..
-
Well its probably two CM', Matic and the one we should get this summer. Im asking this question because a big argument against Mou in the last few weeks is that he apparently had millions to spend in the summer and he failed to build a better team.. people dont get that our objective was different for this season.
-
Agree. The only question that always remains is- why didnt we brought a top CM and a top CF last summer? so they could help us right away? Personally i dont think it was Jose's desicion, i think the club said "take one season to establish the philosophy with the current players, see whats good and whats wrong, and next season we'll get the right players to complete the squad" (Like Rooney was supposed to be the right striker). Its hard for me to believe Jose thought this squad is good enough, i guess we'll understand things better in the summer... but i'd like to know what people here think- was Mou wrong to go with that squad or it wasnt his desicion?

For me its a trio from Bastian,Thiago, Gundogan, Iniesta and Vidal. Yaya was never there.
-
....So what? there's only one champion, and there's next season. City could say: "We destroyd the league this season in such style, we have the best squad, that was for nothing", Liverpool could say "that was our chance after 25 years, we played so great in the end and bottled it". This is football, thats a competitive league. and the good thing about that is there's always next season. Our league campaign was good, but not great, not better than City and Liverpool for sure. we played some poor football in most our games and literally did the minimum to take points (apart from the big games, we were fantastic at those) Arsenal will do nothing in the next seasons too, we will, and it wont come like a surprise, there's a process in football.

Highlights in English?

Its like the Hulk topic, always coming back. Had we won against Sunderland, we're coming to the Liverpool a all lot different from today. so i dont agree with the 'oh the loss against Sunderland' posts. Dynamics are underrated in sports i feel.
