  1. Well, maybe because users like Essien19 make racist comments and are still allowed here.
  2. True that. Put a £50m price tag on Matic and, if they are willing to pay, change your mind and ask for 75
  3. http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/lazio/?action=read&idtmw=855948 I am not sure about how reliable this Alfredo Pedulla guy is (from what I was able to find about him, he is quite reliable), but he claims that we are after Candreva and Parolo, for whom we are ready to offer between 40 and 45m of euros.
  4. "BVB signed Mkhitaryan to replace Gotze, and now they're signing Gotze to replace Mkhitaryan" And they also made a lot of money out of the business.
  5. So props to Le Parisien, I guess?
  6. Man, this feels so good! He's so passionate and confident, yet not rude, sarcastic or arrogant, like others. I am not really sure if we will be able to win too many things next season, but I am sure that our perspectives look better now and that this man will make us proud again!
  7. So 35m euros and a five season contract. Wouldn't that be great? Maybe our French friends could confirm if Le Parisien and Frédéric Gouaillard are reliable.
  8. CHELSEA READY €40M JOAO MARIO BID Chelsea are preparing a €40m offer for Sporting Lisbon midfielderJoao Mario, according to reports in O Jogo. The story is currently sitting at No 2 in this morning's Football Whispers index and the Portuguese sports daily says it was the player's eye-catching displays for Portugal in their victorious Euro 2016 campaign that have persuaded the Blues to make a move for the 23-year-old.
  9. I'm not saying that we should sign him, but ... holly crap, he was amazing last night! His pace, his courage, amazing! Made Pogba look like a rookie.
  10. I was killing it with him at FIFA 2002 lol
  11. If you ask me, England NT's worst enemy is the English media. They create so much hype and so many expectations before every tournaments and it all turns into useless pressure. Look at the Italians and how they treat these situations. They think positively, yet they do not expect huge things to happen. And somehow they almost always do better than England. The mentality is the issue, not the manager. even though Roy cannot be a decent solution in 2016, let's be honest.
  12. Jesus Christ... He would've been a huge addition to our squad, but who can blame him if he goes to City? UCL football, more money, working with Guardiola...
  13. What a piece of business this would be for Juve, though! Management masterclass. And remember who wanted Pogba there in the first place.
  14. Bonucci and Cuadrado. // or not. http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/eng/juventus-negotiating-with-chelsea-for-cuadrado-they-also-asked-about-matic/
  15. You only pay more than 28m for a rotation player if you are stupid as hell. I really hope we don't sign him. The only Belgian player that I would like to join us (except for Bats) is Nainggolan.
  16. If he really has a 25 mil. of euros release close, I don't understand why we don't trigger it. It's a bargain, in my opinion.
  17. I don't understand why people hate him so badly around here. I mean, ok, maybe you don't think that he's good enough for Chelsea, but calling the guy "clown" and other names is way too much, in my opinion.
  18. It's funny how he basically said nothing new. You might as well watch his conference from 2013 and it would be the same experience. Boring, Jose, boring... You're not special anymore.
  19. Heartbroken for him and Italy Such a sad night... But I am also proud of him and of his team. Fantastic performance to get so far in the competition. Bravo Antonio! Forza Italia!
  20. Some interesting words from the ex-Romanian international, Paul Codrea, who had the chance to work with Conte at Siena, back in 2010: "Conte totally impressed me. He lives football like no one other, I could even describe him as a "psycho". Italy is not all about counter-attacking, their tactics are very clear and logic. They never play randomly. In Conte's team, the strikers are the ones who are running the most, because he gives them defensive tasks too. When I was at Siena, we were playing 4-4-2. Now, I guess that this system, with three defenders, suits Italy better. For Conte, the words "I can't" do not exist. Juventus gave him this winning mentality and he somehow manages to send a great positive energy to the players, he's a great motivator. But if you aren't ready to give 100% from the first minute, you cannot play. I had a small conflict with him back in time, but now I have to admit that he was right, even if at that time I thought I was."
  21. Indeed, but if Conte thinks that Giaccherini can help us and suits his style properly, then why not? He's cheap. On the other hand, I really cannot see Pedro as a good option for us anymore.
  22. I would love to have a 3-5-2 system at Chelsea. I don't know why everyone seems to think that it's old and it's not gonna work. Maybe because we got too used with the annoying and boring 4-2-3-1 and we cannot accept other systems anymore. Football nowadays is won by those who have the guts to inovate. Look at Pep's Barca or at Simeone's Atletico. They both brought something special to football, they didn't respect the trends and they won things! Conte is that kind of guy too. If we don't have the players that he needs to build a team the way he wants it, then the club has to bring him those players. I would sign Giaccherini in a heartbeat.
  23. What was Drogba at the age of 22? Batshuayi is a great prospect. Let's just hope that he is smarter when talking than his Belgian teammates.
