Very important win. Lucky, yet somehow deserved because of our determination in the second half. City's pace on the flanks is terrific, but they lack ideas. Thanks to everyone at Chelsea FC for another fantastic weekend!

ANTONIOOO, ANTONIOOOO! i feel so FECKIN happy!!!
-
I absolutely love Diego! ❤️
-
We are about to get our SEVENTH CONSECUTIVE win and people are moaning about substitutions. Fucking wait 7 more minutes and see what happens.
-
Oscar is trying so hard to look older than 16. I mean what's up with that beard, bro?
-
Top of the league, clean sheet, Diego scorred, David bossed the defence, Moses MOTM. What a beautiful day.
-
How could you not sulk if you're a 20-so young player whose future might be destroyed because of a man's ego? Not all the people have the guts to give a response to an experienced managers who keeps on criticizing them. It's absurd. If I were Martial, I'd take the first plane out of Manchester. Too bad he doesn't fit our system.
-
Sure, me neither. I was one of those claiming that he lost it when a lot of people were only blaming the players. But if there are hypocritical Man United supporters who used to think that Mou's a cnut and now they love him, well we have to admit that there are also a lot of Chelsea fans doing the exact opposite. And that's ok, football is a lot about hypocrisy.
-
True. But we shouldn't be laughing at them too much, because some of us are just as hypocrite as they are now. When he was here and he was successfull, we weren't bothered by his antics. Now he's a "deluded man with psychological issues" On the other hand, it's funny how everytime he fails, his devoted fans blame it on the players. Happened at Madrid, Chelsea and now United.
-
Highlights: 1. first six games - a little shaky, we lost against Liverpool and Arsenal, a few people were already moaning - 2. Antonio implements the 3-4-3 system, drops Oscar, Fabregas, Ivanovic, gives Pedro and Moses chances, Alonso and Luiz become starters, Diego Costa turns into an angelito - 3. Five consecutive wins, 16 goals scored, 0 conceded, battered Hull, the champions Leicester, Mourinho's United, the undefeated at home since February Soton and 6th in the league Everton. Now, everybody loves him. And dude, really, if you haven't been able to watch these games, I am very sorry for you. My advice would be to do the impossible if necessarry, in order to watch the next game ____________ Someone was saying that we still need reinforcements and I agree with him. I'd also like to add that, if we keep playing and winning like this, it will be much easier to attract players. They will beg their clubs to be allowed to sign for us. Who wouldn't want to play for such a strong and beautiful team with such a fantastic manager?
-
Fair play to Koeman, very decent and humble. He took the loss with dignity. But I really hope that he didn't teach his players to go out there and play like thugs today. There were a few moments when they made some horrible tackles in the first half. One affected Costa and the other Moses.
-
Exactly! Hearing his shouts is priceless. That's probably gonna turn into a trademark soon. And he doesn't only shout and instruct the players when the opponents have the ball. He gives the impression that he tells them what to do when we have it too. And even then, he doesn't only shout at the guy that's holding on the ball, but he instructs the others what to do, it's like he creates option for the man in possesion. He's exceptional and we are so lucky to have this guy here.
-
Best team in Europe, hands down. Fantastic, I can't find the right words to describe how proud I am and how good it feels to be a Chelsea fan. Grazie, don Antonio! I'd like to write this down again for me and for everyone reading: when we lose, and we will lose a game after all, REMEMBER these days, remember this feeling, remember what this manager and these players did for you and how they made you feel.
-
@ZOS - fair points, there are things that can be improven. And I am sure that against weaker opponents, we will retain possesion more. But against Manchester United (after putting one in so early in the game) and Southampton (that's a very difficult ground to have a good possesion, let alone actually winning) it's been kind of logical to give away the ball. I think what Conte has and our previous manager hasn't is the capacity to adapt. I really can't see us defending against Burnley or Bournemouth. We will go at them, at least while playing home. I'm sure we'll get better on this aspect too.
-
Why? Our results improved as soon as our possesion dropped. The low possesion is not a bad thing, if you do it the way we are doing it now. There was a time, during the previous seasons, when we didn't retain possesion and our playing style was ugly and boring. Can you say that Chelsea play ugly football now? No way. We look very strong and there are moments when we speed it up beautifully. The percentage is not as relevant as the quality of the time when you have the ball. The way we play now, sometimes you don't even notice that the opponent has it for a longer time than us. Because they don't do with it anything that comes even close to what we do with the ball during the shorter time that we have it. Look at the games against Man United and Soton. They had more possesion, but the great opportunities and actions were created by us. My only wish is that we keep playing with the same discipline and wish for victory and, most importantly, we keep not using dirty tactics! Look at Costa, for Christ's sake! He looks like a lamb, so peaceful and quiet!
-
Look at Azpi's stats. Fantastic!
-
He apologized for the humiliation against us by drawing against Burnley. Keep apologizing, Mou.
-
Arghhhh you're right, we're already close to the next international break
-
The last 4 league games have been a delight. Absolutely fantastic, indeed. But let's be honest, someone will find a way to beat us at a certain point. I think that's when it's gonna be very important not to go crazy and criticize the tactics. We need to show faith and to keep going with this, because it's clearly what suits us best. We need to remember these times when results won't be as good as they are now and to always have our manager's back.
-
Best run in quite a while, heh? So 2-0 against Hull, 3-0 against Leicester, 4-0 against Man United, 2-0 against Southampton => 3-0 against Everton?
-
Imagine if Wenger were to say what he said yesterday, after that 6-0. He would've probably destroyed Arsene and labeled him as senile or idiotic. And he wouldn't have been wrong
-
He said that they had the chance to make it 2-1, but we scored the third on a counterattack and then they had the chance to make it 3-1, but again we scored on a counterattack. Afterwards, he even went to say that "probably, if there were 10 more minutes, we would've had the chance to make it 4-1, but they would've scored the fifth on a counterattack". I watched his statement, so yeah, he did say that.
-
Unfortunately for him, Mourinho's antics don't work anymore. And they won't ever work again. Chit chat can only deflect attention from your flaws for so long. The man has only won two relevant trophies since 2010: Primera and Premier League. There are a lot of other managers who did better than him during this period, even if he only managed great clubs. Also, he was fired under bad terms by both Real Madrid and Chelsea. Now United are worse under him than they were under Van Gaal or Moyes. He lives in the past, he's old news. I will always respect what he did here, but let's be honest, his PR machine did him more good than his results since 2010. I don't even care what he says or does anymore. He's not relevant. I'd rather listen to Klopp, Poch or even Wenger.

I voted for Moses as MOTM. He was a monster, absolutely perfect. But everyone was fantastic. Top class performance.
