Exactly my thoughts too. A lot of people were bashing Conte for signing Luiz, but look how that turned out. I trust him 100% with the transfers.

If they don't win this, they might soon be out of the top 5. The pressure's on them. We have a smart manager, a better team and we will show up definitely. Costa's back and he seems hungry for more goals. Hazard is in a great form. Pedro is back. Kante and Matic will be starting too. About the defence, I think it's good that the lads made mistakes against Stoke (specially since we won that game eventually), because that way Conte knows that he needs to work on some things and I am sure they will be back at their best for this match. I am a little nervous, of course, but it's normal to be like that before a derby, isn't it? Yet, I can't wait for this game. Come on!

To be fair, it's a matter of perspective. Klopp might have a point. We won 13 in a row but somehow we're only 6 points ahead of them.. But, on the other hand, this is their best season in quite some time and yet they are still 6 points behind the leaders. I think it's more frustrating for them than for us.

Well, at least it came early.

No, it's not. Matic is a different type of player and the others tend to rely less on his attacking capacity than on Cesc's. When Matic is on, he doesn't get the ball as much as Cesc does when he starts. In my opinion, Cesc's qualities recommend him better for when we're chasing our opponents. I am not saying that he's guilty for this, but I just think that we play better when Matic starts, because Hazard, Willian / Pedro, Moses or Diego have the ball for themselves more.

Wow, calm down mate. Cesc is slow, pace is not one of his strenghts and everyone knows that.

Bad display so far. I really respect Cesc Fabregas, but we always seem sloppy and slower when he starts.

We all thought this was going to be tough as hell. It wasn't. I was very surprised to see Bats not starting. This thing was a whole new strategy for us this season. Conte decided to give them the ball, which I don't think they were ready for. He didn't trust Bats enough, so he only counted on Eden, Willian and Pedro's pace & technique. Also, by letting them have the ball he didn't give them space and the chance to catch us on the counter. That meant that Cesc was never exposed. It was brilliant from Conte. And, once again, the players showed up and trashed a tough opponent. I am wondering how Conte keeps them so motivated. This is our 4th clean sheet in a row, by the way. This is better than anything that we could've imagined before the beginning of the season. I mean, who would've imagined David coming back and playing so great? Who would've imagined Costa turning into such a nice guy and yet scoring like a machine? Who would've imagined us trashing the champions, City, United, Everton, Spurs, Soton and so on?
