I`m glad I am old enough to be a fan of the club I supported before any of our current squad were born and don`t put any of those players above the club. there`s plenty teams around who are not "beneathe" Cech playing for. he can go to a rival even..but we should not just hand Cech to them for a price we do not need. if we lose him for that we are gonna be weaker whilst making a rival stronger.let them give up something that will either weaker them or make the trade even.
-
I can`t quote for some reason. but Cech is under contract at Chelsea football club. they will probably let him leave before his contract ends when they don`t need to as they did with Crespo,Deco etc.. the analogy between if you got fired and the Cech situation doesn`t work out. he is not being fired, his contract is not being cancelled.

wales full of team work and 2 world class players playing without selfish ego to make the team better.funny how in 3 hours of football between Wales and Belgium ,Belgium and their "superstars" haven`t been able to score a goal against a defense that plays with a back up Palace keeper, and Reading,Hull and Swansea defenders..

To the horror of about 80% of internet based Chelsea fans...England go ahead 2-1. should have been 4 in the second half if Rooney`s finishing wasn`t so shit at present.

between complying with what Petr (or any player) wants and what is best for Chelsea..the latter should always be our priority. Petr and others have helped us win many trophies, just like playing for Chelsea has helped them win those trophies. for which they have been paid enough that nobody else in their families need to ever work for generations to come. I`d tell him he can either A) stay in London for a non rival B)go to a rival team in London aslong as what we get in return as in player makes us equal or stronger than where we`d be without him. C) go to a team who are not a direct rival,be that in England,France,Italy,Spain,Germany etc..D) Stay.

Mikel,Cuadrado,Cech (if he chooses to) Drogba leaving is enough. no need to overhaul the squad. only Cech made any valuable contributions on the field. Oscar is 24 in September,we be better served helping him become consistently good than getting the money for hm we don`t need to improve the squad as we have plenty for that already.
-
only Arsenal player I`d want is Ramsey. Cech playing for Arsenal or Man U would be worse than seeing Cudicini go to Tottenham and possibly worse than Joe going to Scumpool.
-
Wenger would teach our kids that winning is not important,it`s pretty passes and willingness to stroke his pocket hamster that matter.
-
I wouldn`t mind him going to Man City..he would have to face what he did with us.instead of being one of the top 3 at the clubs he`s shined with.competition for game time. if he does good with them it won`t show that we were wrong to sell him, just that he matured as he should have already. if he fails it`ll prove we were right to sell him.

Super Dan Petrescu one of my all time Chelsea foreign imports, even tho we got him from Sheffield Wednesday and he had that training field incident with a young JT. hopefully nationality isn`t his only similarity.
-
with the number of subs you can name on the bench these days and the amount of young talent we have,we can name atleast one youngster among our subs every game.(counting Zouma as an established player rather than a "youngster" now). in games we are up by a few goals it would be better to send on one of those rather than established players who don`t need the experience.

apart from the final I only saw Chelsea`s games ( I go to on average about 95 % of the games a season and work my bollocks off the rest of the season to afford it so no time for a broad view of how everybody performed)
-
Messi is picked on their RW . Courtois didn`t do great but I didn`t see any keeper stand out in the tournament really from the games I saw.
-
we should have kept him around...he would always be in my matchday squad and be the first off the bench if I was in charge. I`d only want Cuadrado around to go on Charlie runs for me.

I`m only here during the offseasons and occasionally during the early hours after getting home from an away win,if I`m buzzing too much to sleep . so can`t really vote.i don`t get to see how people react to a loss which would influence my voting for the majority if not all categories. -
I haven`t bought a jersey for about 28 years...was given the black away one from about 2002 and the epic white with blue stripe from a couple of seasons later as Christmas presents from the wife of the time. don`t really like wearing football shirts due to the feel of them..(cotton will always be king) but always take an interest in them just to see how the boys will look on the pitch.

letting Schurrle go and signing Cuadrado beggers belief. I`m fine with Willian starting at RW but Schurrle covered many spots and could actually make a positive impact coming off the bench. I`m usually far more patient than most when it comes to new signings and never as some fans do write off a signing before he`s played (maybe because about 90 % of footballers I watch are only during the Chelsea games I attend,so don`t get to see these players extensively before signing) but I`m fine with us ending this project early. I don`t think somebody like Swift could have done worse in his place..

Kakuta is far from our biggest Flop or really a Flop atall..he`s more like a ripple. is not like we paid a huge transfer fee and he was playing at a high level at a big club before we signed him. just a young prospect who never elevated his game to become a regular squad member for us. we have had plenty of those. a Flop is a player who falls from a higher level of playing.
-
for me he should have been given more game time and he should have been more patient himself. of course we can only comment on what we see "on stage"..behind the scenes he might have been a brat/cunt. I wouldn`t say any of the young Belgians we have/had were mentally mature enough to play for a top club when they arrived, which isn`t entirely all their fault, they have been hyped up so much.
-
he`s a typical Scumpool signing. overpaying for another Danny Murphy. decent player for an "also ran" club but more of a workhorse than a player whose gonna elevate them beyond mediocrity. they would have to spend about £200-300m and wisely to get back into league winning contention and then have players and coaches that can handle playing for such a fanbase with giddy delusional expectations of some devine right to be above all over clubs.

I think work permits should be granted to players who will receive a certain salary. if he was applying for a job in a different field they would take that into account. I thought it was a thing just to stop immigration from people who don`t add something to the country they wish to live in but people earning a good wage, even as fringe players would pay a good amount of tax to that country.
-
As I understand it George Weah would not have got a work permit under current rules. there gotta be a little sense added to it..top players can be from nations outside of the top 50. especially when the World cup is never played by the top 32 teams in the world and yet playing in the tournament boosts your nations ranking giving it a false reading.
-
I voted would make a good squad player. I`d be fine with the swap but as mentioned by someone else..would leave us with 0 true leftbacks.so we would need to buy a LB. I`m really not bothered if we get him or give the depth spot to somebody like Kalas,Omeruo instead. infact if it involved a transfer fee instead of a swap I`d prefer we just used one of those. each can play RB too.
-
he would make a nice upgrade over Ramires. but Rami seems a Jose favourite so probably not in the cards.
-
I rate him the same as Salah. both show flashes, but not consistent with end product...Salah appears to have better character,Sterling homegrown,Salah`s transfer fee has already been paid and he doesn`t expect the same salary that Sterling does. I think if we loaned some of our better youngsters to clubs the same standard as Scumpool..they would stand out as much if not more.so would prefer to just ease them into the rotation as they would be happy for now with that, where as Sterling probably would have ideas above his station and sulk.Sterling would not start for us over Hazard or Willian.
