I haven`t seen any of Copa America but hope if he`s staying he can play alot more like you guys are saying for us. hope it`s not just a case of national pride turning him into a beast for them but then back to a timid pussy for us.

the FA should change the rules so that there should be something like 4 English players in every team. it won`t stop the cream of Europe and World football coming but it will stop teams like us filling too many squad spots with average players that merely stunt the growth of young English players coming through. it should be something that should happen all over Europe but we should do it ourselves if UEFA aren`t willing. If I recall correctly the Italian FA used to do it. most of England`s pool of talent at the senior level come from teams outside of trophy winning caliber teams..and in the U19 and U21 ranks those who play at bigger clubs haven`t played many 1st team games with their parent club. results behind the senior team don`t matter so much to me but the development of them.

I can`t quote on here for some reason but it was in reply to the one that Petr Cech posted saying Fiorentina will be forced to pay 13.5m after having an opening bid of 3m rejected.

I used the word "IF" in response to the quoted from media post. I don`t have time to personally investigate every transfer rumour.

if Fiorentina really offered just 3m to sign him in a permanent deal..i would tell them to go fuck themselves,break all contact with them,refuse to do any business with them again and put their phone on redirect to an indian call center. fucking insulting the cheap cunts. if you can`t afford to play at the big boys table you don`t play.

we call Jose, Jose..we understand the difference between the Portuguese and Spanish prenounciation of the same name. atleast most of us.

Oscar has been worked like a dog,more than any other footballer of his age group on our books with no summer break until this summer. Jose once his team has a good start and a lead by Christmas,usually wins the league.he played his part in that. it`s upto our coaches and fitness peeps to help him sustain the stamina to have a longer stretch of good form. when he`s on form he`s one of our best players and only turns 24 later this year. as reported we aren`t planning on selling him this year..that`s not because he`s a Torres,or Malouda,Mikel..players nobody wants to pay up for but because we want to keep him.

we apparently have the best youth players in Europe so we should promote some of that..one or two signings will do. we have the core and a lot of which are still young enough to progress. we seem to overall as fans forget that players we already have can progress but don`t so much if it`s a young player we are linked with,those players progression is presumed.

glad Oscar is staying..if we sold every player who has lean spells we would only be left with about 3 or 4 players.

looks like he`s going to Man City if the bookmakers are anything to go by. I kinda wish he wouldn`t go to them a lot more than wanting him to come to us as I think he would make a bigger impact there and is more what they need rather than what we need.

I`d like him as a matchday squad member but I`m not putting him down as somebody who can replace any regular to the extent that they should be sold. an upgrade over Cuadrado who can actually make an impact and start in certain games on a "horses for courses" basis.

when kids be talking about the most talented kids we`ve ever had....by the time Jimmy Greaves left aged just 21 he had scored 124 of his still standing record and probably never to be broken 357 top flight goals . I`ll hang my hat on him being our greatest young talent ever and among the top 5 young talents in the history of world football. that`s going by the common misguided rule that only attacking players can be described as the best of their time or ever.

If his name is Robert Kenedy,why not have an avatar of Robert " Bobby" Kennedy instead of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. in a side note ..Hasselbaink used to have Jimmy on the back of his jersey when he first came to England and played for Leeds..the F.A made him change it to his real surname. I don`t know how Portuguese speaking players get away with nicknames..they don`t always have the same last name.

I`m probably atleast joint if not our most anti-loan players out member but I agree with him being loaned out for the upcoming season. just don`t think he`s being loaned to the right club for him that would help prepare him for our 1st team squad. I think he will just tread water there. I`d keep 3 or 4 young,yet to establish themselves players around to integrate into the squad but Baker would be outside of those. I would look for him to take Ramires spot in the squad in the next couple of years but not yet.

I think 18m would be a decent price for him and maybe the quoted pounds price is really Euro`s seeing as it`s not from an English source. Pedro I think even if he doesn`t win a regular starter spot could get plenty of game time covering for a couple of positions.and could be our new super sub.

it`s great the number of top players from around the world that play in England now. but i think eventually UEFA will put a limit on how many foreign players clubs can have in an attempt to bring us down and leagues like the French back up. the Homegrown rule needs to be altered to something like atleast half of the 8 needing to have grown up in the country their club plays in anyway. we among other mostly English clubs have exploited the massive loophole in the current rule and we have many enemies in governing bodies around Europe who wouldn`t have a problem with other leagues clubs doing it but will eventually change it because of us. that`s why I feel it`s important among other reasons to have fully English players coming through.

KDB didn`t have the right attitude at the time to play for a major club,it remains to be seen if he has now or ever will..same as Lukaku..tho KDB is closer to the talent level required. we possibly should have made him honour his contract and forced him to be more patient for his chance but he forced his departure. 3 hours of playing against a Crystal Palace back up keeper and a back 4 made up of Reading,Hull and Swansea defenders without scoring suggests that the Belgium attacking players aren`t as great as they are hyped up to be. contain Eden seems the way to stop them.

Masouda isn`t "one of Jose`s players and never will be" but Sterling who has a price tag of 50m, has a tackle ratio of 1 every 82 minutes of football and shown several character flaws is? I think every great prospect/top player can become one of Jose`s guys..just gotta work hard,be tuned in and willing to follow his instructions. you don`t have to be a tackling machine..just do your part..press players when they have the ball,clog passing lanes etc..

indeed. he`s been with us for what 9 years. anyone else who stayed that long would be loved by most. I loved John Bumstead who stayed for around the same time and yet Mikel has a bucket full of winners medals and he just doesn`t pull the heart strings. he`s been good at times,willing to do whatever is asked of him but when you think his predecessor is Makalele and his successor is Matic. out of the 3 "M`s" Mikel is the weak link between the other two greats at his position.

@Tomo I don`t really recall the don`t sign Neymar because we have Kakuta,nor me ever being a part of that. but i used more than one player being effected by Pogba being signed..and even without the added transfer fee I wouldn`t swap Oscar and RLC`s place in the matchday squad to have Pogba. players who was just used as an example.

Griezmann is one of the few transfer targets/rumours I`m pro us going for..don`t think we have to have him but it would improve our matchday squad.and wouldn`t be a "cock blocker"..like other possible signings.

if Cuadrado leaves I think we should keep Salah (tho i know once a player has been loaned out he needs to win the league in a top European league/and or play in a major European cup final to get another chance with us)
