Puliiszola got a reaction from ja1 in 🏴 Tammy Abraham
Criminal how under the radar Tammy has gone this season. I feel he has been our best striker so far. If puli and ziyech are fit, they should be flanking Tammy.

Its a team game. And players need to play accordingly and as a team. I had read an interview when we bought werner and he himself had said that he had liked FL's vision and did not want to be hen-pecked in just the CF role.
We are without Ziyech, CHO just came back from injury, so what were/are our options out wide? Tammy? Giroud? Out of all available options, Werner is the best available option. Also, he is not playing as a traditional winger, definitely not staying out wide and simply supplying the width. If he was being asked to do THAT, it would have been wrong tactically. He is playing quite centrally and infact the same channels he used to love to play in Leipzig (between the FB and CB). Werner has been poor by his own standards and he himself admitted that. Stop making excuses and pinning them on FL when we literally dont have a better option.
Werner's finishing is not on FL. He will take his own time to settle but there are positives but also negatives. Stop trying to hide his negatives and pin it on the manager.

That's the problem many TC posters fails to realise....absence of Jorginho instantly improves our central attacking midfielders even Mount begins to dribble and move the ball so quick while Kovacic dribbling open aces of space for our attackers to operate...I wish we have someone to come in for Kante when he becomes unavailable or we go all out for Rice... its crystal clear our best formation is 433...

Tonights game must have confused a lot of the 'Frank Out' merchants. They'll have to wait till the next loss to impart their forensic knowledge on why Frank is rubbish

Over-reaction on here as usual.
Job on the line...
I wish every manager had a magic wand like we do on FIFA. Life would be so much easier.
Also, win this and we will be 5th and just 2 points behind the 2nd placed Leicester. Lose this and we will be 9th. It just shows how close things are. One win and one loss should not decide the fate of FL. There have been a lot of positives to take from this season.

All this bleating, all this is a must win game, all games are must win.
Lamps is doing just fine, considering he's not been able to have his preferred front three.
I'll judge him at the end of the season, now is not the time, the knockers and haters are having a field day, everything is Lamps fault when things go wrong, when we were 17 unbeaten they stayed in their rat holes.
I get get that it's not the match supporters that feel this way it's these fucking keyboard warriors and trolls.
I just wonder have any of the knockers even been to a Chelsea game, let alone knock them.
3-1

KDB's case is very different to Kai's.
KDB's quality was evident even in the one game he did play against Hull. It was simply a case of Jose preferring Oscar over KDB. Oscar himself was considered to be a sort of a prodigy and simply turned out to be a DUD. If anything, Kai is being given the trust and the time to settle, he is hyped up and well rated. Everything akin to Oscar. Rather than KDB, he should be compared to Oscar and we should worry that he is not an expensive OSCAR.

led? Özil was an absolute milestone around the neck in that campaign. a wonder we made it despite all the chances he missed. Easily our worst player whole tournament.

His flaws have nothing to do with being out of position. When the player himself cannot do the basics right, It's a confidence issue.

No one is saying blindly "trust the process", you should look at a few factors and then make your decision from there. For me I look at these things whenever a manager struggles initially to decide whether I back him or not.
1. Is the football sustainable? Yes and the underlying performance metrics back that up.
2. What are his team's selections like? In other words is he playing the players that are/have potential to be a part of our next title winning team and dropping the deadwood that forced us into a transition in the first place? Yes.
3. Recruitment, are most of the players brought in good signings that have improved us? Yes.
4. Is there season by season progression? Again yes, up on the same fixtures last season, improved performance in the CL group compared to last year and most importantly we look better at both ends.
I'll be the first to call him out if he stalls on as much as one of those things but in my opinion those are the four things to look at in the building phases and as of this minute he's passing all four (compared to Arteta who's failing on them all).

That is the problem, when you focus on the now with younger players and new players it will take time.
Right now we have suffered a dipped in form which was expected. But I will see how we finish the season, what buys we do in January and go from there. And then take an overall approach to what we have.
Right now we have a mix, good buys, young players, dip in form. What is the real deal? I suggest we will know by the end.
But one thing is for sure, we are building something good that even if Lampard goes in the summer, we will attract a top coach like naggelsmam, Pochetino etc etc.

So you freaking out for 2 bad results is not the same?
You forget the entire picture?
Even before those two games analysts like carraggher where saying how we have recruited well. How we are setting up for the future.
And that at this moment is more important.

Really? This is the best hope i also have
But so far, he is really nothing special. Far worse than ozil, mata. He seems have a good touch, vision, technically talented.
But he seems lacking something really essential
He is too easy to dispossed, his mentality and his dribbling ability is also worrying, is not just about the pace because neither ozil and mata has it
I know i'm being really harsh. But sometimes I even questioned his basic skill to become top or standout player.
The way he shielding the ball is sad too see, barely have any desire to create anything, his tendency to choose safe passing is a bit too much for me, and too many matches i saw him barely giving any threat to our opposition, bar barnsley and sevilla game

I feel any team in a transition will need a focal point and that one man to build around. And we ARE a team in a transition.
I mean people want others to have patience with individuals like Kai and werner, yet are so bloody hard on FL. A system is made up of individuals performing to their best of the abilities. If those individuals are sub-par in doing some of the most basic things in football like passing and shielding, then the system and the team are bound to struggle. Which would ultimately either lead to a system failure like the previous 2 games or the team getting reliant on the most creative player like ziyech.

Spoken like a true plastic. "I will support only if my team is comfortable" Well played sir. Also, which of our manager in the history had to deal with a transfer ban? Which if a manager in our history had to deal with a transfer ban as well as having the best player in the team as well as the league leave the team and unable to replace him? Please enlighten me.
LOL, liverpool lost 7-2 to ASTON FUCKING VILLA with VVD and no injuries. Things dont happen in a vaccum. Its no longer a top 4 elite tier team in PL and then a massive dearth of talent and money for the rest of the 16. Most of the PL teams has a higher net spend and market value than the 5-6th placed teams in spain, germany, italy or france. And thats the difference. Things dont happen in a vaccum. Liverpool, CIty, united each of them is struggling with one thing or another. Liverpool because their manager played jota in a meaning less game and refused to rotate, city because their world class player KDB has lost form, United are out of CL and somehow just clinging on in the league. Arsenal are fucked. Things are not just black and white.
Lol, you can critisize FL as much as you want, I do it too. The point is, if he wins the next 5 games, you would still not believe in him. Infact you want him to fail as he has not given you instant gratification and that is what makes you a PLASTIC. You are like those liverpool fans crying for Klopp's head in his first 2 years and now think he is the 2nd coming of jesus. Frankly, Pathetic.

I started supporting Chelsea when Zola was a player as he was and is still is one of my favourite players. Goes on to show how much you know. Just because you are a plastic does not mean everyone else is, fellow "fan"
Whatever I think is still way better than you throwing your toys out of pram after we lost 2 games after going unbeaten in 17 (yes 17!!!!!) Freaking games. And then saying that even if the manager wins the next 5, you would still not support him. That's not just low, that is downright bullshit. Majority of Chelsea's fan base was after Roman, that don't make them "plastic", the fact that you can't get behind your team and manager after 2 losses, definitely makes you one. You are fucking fine with Liverpool and their injuries and yet fail to give us any leeway when we did not have all 3 of our wingers available. Similarly Liverpool only have their CBs missing from their starting 11, rest are available , yet they dropped points to freaking fulham.
