You are correct Sanchez is a CB. He is also a very talented young CB. Spurs look best in a back 3 so bringing in a player as dynamic as Sanchez could be amazing for them. As @xPetrCechx said they lack talented squad depth, seeing what Poch could do with a player like Sanchez worries me.

If he behaves he would be devastating for them. If they close Aurier and Davinson Sanchez that will two massive players for them.

uninspired signing if it were to happen. Im sure he can do the job but it would show our intent for the season if we went from Ox/Aurier/Cancelo to Cedric. But people will get to say he is PL proven since that seems super important.

I have officially joined the Anti-Board team. They have beaten me down with their "links" and "Monitoring" we have sold/released 13 players (not including Costa) and brought in 4. 4! I always take them with a grain of salt, i truly believe chelsea put in another bid though. I don't mind the ITK's, i dont take them seriously and i have a laugh at some of the stuff. People take what they say seriously and get so angry its crazy.

According to @PipeSierraR on twitter we have made a massive bid for Sandro of 80m Euros, He also reported yesterday of our offer for OX and the City/Alexis link. Probably not too reliable but we certainly are still trying hard for Sandro.

If he were to leave I agree it would be to city, and honestly go ahead aha i don't even care anymore. Pep wants to sign every possible attacker in the world and he just makes himself look silly and puts even more pressure on himself. You can only play with so many attackers and these guys are bound to get upset and cause internal drama which takes down teams.

I agree its long past the point where we should have moved on. but one tiny counter point that bugs me is he hasnt signed the improved contract at Juve, what is he waiting for? Until he does we will always think we have hope. Their current mini civil war in the club surely has some players thinking and they ARE working on Spinazzola coming home. My predicted lineup: Courtois Azpi Christensen Rudiger Moses Kante Luiz Alonso Willian Morata Pedro. Injury concerns for Pedro but I think he will make it back, No suitable CM coverage and Moses will push Azpi back to CB. Not an ideal squad to go against Tottenham but Pedro will be immense if he returns, if not i am very nervous. Morata is a must start as Michy was so incredibly poor with his touch and movement.

I didn't think we needed him but I will be thrilled if we get him. Having VVD as an alternative to Cahill will be immense. Rudiger looked really good for me as did Christensen which was encouraging. Keeps him from Liverpool and strengthens us further.

I am drooling at the thought of him linking up with Hazard and Pedro. He single handedly turned that game around when he came on. Looks like we made the right purchase for our team. He is a must start. Spectacular effort from him.

THRILLED with that first game, mouth watering potential and the RLC all chelsea fans hoped for and expected. Hopefully he continues and has a great year for CP. He will be an important player for us in the future if he keeps that up.

Havent looked through the pages of this, im sure there was a lot of anger at everyone from Cahill to Pawson to the board. I was most upset about how we lost complete composure once Cahill got sent off. Luiz/Fab especially were detriments for awhile. Our effort in the 2nd half encouraged me to the point where i view the game as an important lesson. We learned we need to keep our heads, we showed we definitely need to be active in the transfer market, We learned Morata is a baller and surely our starting striker. Teams will always drop games in the PL and if we needed to drop this one in that manner to learn important lessons and spring ourselves forward than so be it. I was encouraged by Rudigers effort and fight, Christensen looked the part, Morata will be amazing with Hazard and Pedro. I was disappointed with Cesc not being a better leader, Michy was unwatchable which was upsetting, Azpi played hard like always but he isnt a suitable RWB.

Seems destined for Spurs. I think he will develop into a beast under Poch. No room for him here and not a plug and play type like VVD would be. Hurts to see him probably go to a rival and flourish but not the right setup for him.

Would be thrilled to sign him. Love his physical skills and he is talented with the ball. Conte could work with him and really turn him into a great RWB and be a LWB if we need him to play there. If this gets done I will be very happy. I could see this getting done for 30-35m

Feels harsh on baker. He bought in and played well at his last loan. 2 year deal feels like the end of his Chelsea career unless he really turns into something undeniable. What a shame, i hoped he would stick with the club this year and learn under Cesc

i am slightly more optimistic due to the fact that Spurs run a tight ship with their salary structure. Having an upset player speaking out does NOT help that. I think for the right price (40-45m) we could actually get this done, if we are indeed interested.

he very well might play Bats/Morata together but if the Com Shield was any indication he prefers playing Willian/Pedro with a solitary striker until they can work more together or we change formations. I think he will revert back to the formation our teams knows the best, my only question is whether he starts Morata (my hope) or Bats (more probable) as the 9. I think we will either come out on fire and win 2-0 or 3-0 or it will be a slog and an ugly 2-1 or 1-0 win. I am expecting they come out determined to send a message.

If it is under £30m than I am happy and think its a good deal. If it is over £30m than I am happy and think its a bad deal. Either way I am of the belief the player can be useful for our needs and will be a productive squad member. I don't concern myself too much with transfer prices, lets remember Sunderland got more money for placing last than Real Madrid did for winning the Champions League, which is absolutely insane.

Very possible, Id think if we transition to more of a 352 this year RLC will have a better chance in a 3 man as the most attacking player of the 3. In a 2 man I think you are right he hasn't shown the work rate(he might this year) Either way a full year playing an important role for a sneaky good team in CP will do wonders for him I think.

My prediction for Saturday: Courtois Rudiger Luiz Cahill Azpi Kante Fabregas Alonso Willian Pedro Morata Bats could very well get the start but for me I hope Morata gets the nod. Nervous about the game missing Hazard/Bakayoko/Moses but Conte will have the team ready to rock.
