  1. They would discuss the possibility of breaking the loan and the player returning to Juve, Perhaps Juve could send them another player or cash considerations if Atalanta wanted to play ball, they seemingly want to keep the player and have Juve honour the agreement of the 2 year loan. That is my understanding anyways, if there was a definitive option this wouldn't even be a discussion, Juve would exercise it(if they really wanted the player) and there would be nothing Atalanta could do in the matter besides send the player back.
  2. Where did it say there was an option to terminate it? It was suggested, but i don't believe Juve had a choice. They tried to negotiate with Atalanta but they wouldn't release the player from the 2 year loan agreement? Which is why i referenced Christensen, These 2 year loan deals are complicated to break especially if you have a good relationship with the loan club.
  3. Spinazzola just finished the 1st year of a 2 year loan. Similar as to when we tried to take Christensen back last year but Gladbach held onto him.
  4. I just asked David Amoyal on twitter if getting spinazzola was a pre-requisite for the Sandro deal. His response was "I dont see them as being that related, some correlation sure" Still an outside hope! need the player to put in a request. Get Conte on the phone with him to get this party moving.
  5. im an optimist but even I doubt this deal will get done now. Not dead in the water cause of this but its certainly not a positive development
  6. "Old" Chelsea fans or "New" Chelsea fans, doesn't matter when you found the club as long as you support them now. I would be classified as "new" Chelsea cause I didn't find them until about 4-5 years ago when i really got into soccer/football but since then i have supported wholeheartedly, watching every game i could from PL champs to 10th place and back again. Can't be going at each other, just need to understand some people are more frustrated than others during transfer season and tone is tough to convey over a message board. At the end of the day we all want Chelsea to succeed
  7. Feels like fake news, Team and Conte have both said they want him back to see what he has got. I would be shocked if they sold him, if they did it seems we have finally gotten the buy back clause message which is good at least.
  8. if our two biggest deals get done (Sandro, Lukaku) I think they will play beautifully together. Lukaku can finish with Left, Right, or(most importantly) his Head while being physically dominant over defenders while establishing position. Sandro can whip accurate crosses in and will have loads of space on the left created by hazard. Only problem is closing two of the biggest deals this summer. Exciting times ahead.
  9. Every day with this stuff? Can you at least hold your judgement until we leave for our pre season trip towards the end of this month? then if still nobody is in you can bash the board, deal?
  10. Signed some young french goalkeeping wonderkid now also: http://football-wonderkids.co.uk/player/nicolas-tie/#.WVzWwIQrJhE Gilmour, Ampadu, Redan, now Tie. Youth team is signing every young stud there is. If even one of these kids makes it big our youth policy will pay off. Encouraging lately ive been reading we are going to try and send our young guys out into loans earlier to help mature them quicker rather than let them beat up teams together. If we manage to somehow start turning our youth development into players rather than money we could be onto something. That is a big IF with our history but still intriguing!
  11. I've been sort of hesitant whenever I see the 424 mentioned but just chatting with a friend and this would actually look really nice. Courtois azpi Luiz Rudiger Sandro Kante. Bakayoko pedro Hazard Lukaku Batman that is pretty deadly ahaha Lukaku and batman can criss cross being left/right footed. Sandro can storm forward when he pleases having Bakayoko covering his side with kante being everywhere. I kinda like it
  12. There are no reports, just thought it was interesting about the transfer request. Hoping and praying we put in an offer but this move feels Juve bound sadly.
  13. Never is a strong word for a talented young player like Zouma. Will he ever develop into a CB that pings passes around Boateng/Bonucci/Luiz style? Very doubtful. But as he continues to grow and mature he will absolutely improve his ball playing, to what level i am not sure but improvement will certainly happen.
  14. in his IG story he is bouncing around in some Hotel room, have to assume he is in London. Announcement tomorrow!? hope so!
  15. I really don't believe there is any more need for reports. This whole situation is going to come down to if Alex Sandro wants to personally ask Juve to sell him to Chelsea. Juve want a giant fee, one we are willing to pay I am sure. All we need is for Sandro to say those magic words to Juve management and the deal will be done. Reporters can speculate on price and Juve saying no, they obviously are going to say no up until Sandro firmly says "I wont sign the improved deal, I want to leave for Chelsea." Now we wait for the player....
  16. Bakayoko and Rudiger are as good as done, Technically the market has only been open for 4 days. Transfer deals take a long time to come together especially in a market where teams are trying to run up ridiculous prices. You've gotta have patience my friend. If we have no deals done by August then I might join you in being upset/worrying but until then we have to see what we can do. Conte loves Bakayoko and was after Rudiger last year, we have addressed our backup GK position and brought in some crazy talented youths for the future to either play or sell for a profit. Contrary to popular belief the board wants us to win games and succeed as much as you or I do.
  17. City and us are a different level of wage paying yes, Bayern i think are stricter than we know. Being cheap in the PL is a relative term compared to the rest of europe. I think Alexis will play out the year then move on to greener pastures of his choosing. If i were him I would go to Bayern on a free, as he ages his body will begin to deteriorate and they would be able to extend his career with rotation while remaining dominant in the bundesliga and CL
  18. They are still a very big club, in a very big city, that pay very big wages. I would be shocked if Alexis signs a new deal, same with Ozil. Laca is a good player but he has just been beating up on a weaker french league. They will be dangerous going forward like they always are but no reason to worry. We signed Kante after finishing 10th, these things can happen to big clubs but the allure of a club doesnt fade after one bad year.
  19. Would love him here, feels like Juve is all over him though. Would be the perfect mix for our right sided attacker. Wonderful left foot, eye for the pass and long range shot, hard worker who can do defensive duties
  20. He is more polished then Zouma while maintaining similar athleticism, More Experienced/Physical than Ake, and A different style player than Christensen. If Christensen continues to develop at the rate he has been he will be a better player, some might argue Christensen is superior at the moment depends on the type of defender you prefer. Rudiger seems like what Zouma would be as he matures and improves his ball playing. (Just my personal quick opinion, others rate Z/A/C differently than I do)
  21. I am excited to have him. Just one small play in the Confed Cup final that excited me was he tracked a runner, won the ball, while under pressure turned and hit a long pass down the sideline with his left foot right into the feet of his teammate which sprung a counter. It was a little non descript play but I thought in my head about how cahill would have handled that situation and that piece of skill isn't in his bag. Player will hopefully be announced at some point this week, a welcomed addition
  22. Our youth teams are going to be extra dominate after this summer, my goodness they are loading up.
  23. People are so impatient, transfers of this magnitude take TIME. He very well could sign a new contract with Juventus, and that is his right. We have done all a team can do to lure a happy player over. I do believe the player wants to come here for a variety of reasons(money, market exposure, new challenge) but players work through these things at their own pace. We all want transfers announced as quickly as possible but these guys have lives to live as well. He is probably trying to enjoy a well earned vacation away from the madness of world football. He respects Juve fans and this is a decision that will change his life(for the better or possibly worse) If he wants to come we will have him, if not I respect his decision.
  24. Love the player, seems destined for Liverpool and seemingly wants the move. Scary thought as he would be absolutely perfect for them. PL is going to be a sight next year with all the big boys strengthening.
  25. I'm more hopeful today than I was yesterday. Both clubs seem to be in agreement and the player will come here I think(I hope) he gets More money, more exposure, bigger league, Brazilian buddies on the team already, wants to work with Conte and would be beloved by the fans. Busy two weeks ahead!
