Belotti is my #1 guy, has been for a long long time but i get the feeling we will end up with Morata. Just a gut feeling. I prefer Belotti which is well known but Morata is unsettled, worked with Conte, and is negotiable on price (Belotti has the 86m Sterling release though)
-
hahaha alright that description is pretty funny, I like that one.
-
Can we all just admit that nobody has any idea who Contes #1 striker target is besides him and the board? Nobody in the media or on twitter has any idea. It could be Lukaku, it could be Belotti, it could be Morata. Everyone is just assuming then assuming how he feels about the first assumption lol
-
@Barbara Any more insider information? Still hopeful he joins or has this ship sailed?
-
Auba is a fantastic player but does anyone else worry about his slight build and a lot of his game being reliant on pace? I have seen 0 things linking him with us but that is a concern of mine.
-
People laugh but he is an ideal 2nd or 3rd striker to me. Big, mobile, 15 goals with Swansea, Knows Contes system, is tactically flexible.
-
Conte spends a lot of time being furious according to the media and their "reports"
-
Great, thank you. So hopefully this Sandro saga can be wrapped up by end of next week. Player will have pressure on him when he returns to commit or move on.
-
Does anyone know when Juventus players report back? I would assume once he is back a decision would be made rather quickly if he wants to stay or leave? It seems it is solely down to what the player wants.
-
My apologies! lotsa messages on here, bound to miss a few.
-
you forgot my #1 choice Belotti! I would be so happy if we ended up with him.
-
ahaha Linkman strikes again, always posting those twitter/news links, you dont mind me calling you that no? everytime i see a post of yours under a name it is always a quick click. I have been going on and on about Belotti for a long time so i support!
-
Linkman normally I support you 100% especially if it links us to belotti. But ive gotta question reliability on this one. is #count supposed to be #conte?
-
I 100% agree with you, we must keep hold of Conte. I disagree about the 2 years in a row, Last year was a very successful summer in retrospect Kante/Luiz/Alonso were absolutely integral in winning the league and Bats scored the league winning goal, they might not have been "1st Choice" but they certainly got the job done. The year before yes was a dumpster fire
-
exactly, we are powerless as fans. You and I both will support whoever is on the team when the PL kicks off, but the board is not the enemy. We have been the most successful club in England for awhile now so lets just wait until the end of the window (or at least july 19th) before we sharpen our pitchforks. Believe me, if we don't close some signings relatively soon I will be right there with you. But until that time we just have to stay positive that they know what they are doing.

Since 2009/10: PL Champs: 2009/2010, 2014/15, 2016/17 FA Cup: 2009/10 2011/12 League Cup: 2014/15 CL: 2011/12 EL: 2012/13 Ya they sure have destroyed this club.

I had accepted Lukaku into the fold here and was excited, I think he will be successful for United (if he indeed does sign) he is what they need and Pogba/Jose got in his ear and sold United fame and fortune, My dream of Belotti is still alive, and Morata(my least fav of the 3) is still an option. July 19th we depart, I still hope to have 3-4 people signed by then. Conte is back in town this weekend...He will be going touchline level crazy to get some players in.
-
ahahaha Honestly I am an eternal optimist but i might begin to sway if nothing is done by then also
-
We were told a Nike sponsorship would start on July 1st. we were never told Lukaku to Chelsea was done, nor is it officially done to United. the board continues to work on targets we know nothing about. i thought you promised to give me until July 19th! I wanted 13 days not 13 hours my friend.

Conte noticed Belotti way back at Parma. I was reading an article about Belotti and they brought up Conte when he was Italian team national manager liking him way back then.

The price of Diego wont represent fair market value cause of the drama surrounding him. Calling Lacazette twice as good as Lukaku isn't accurate, Lukaku has been banging in goals in a harder league. Belotti and Morata are really good players (i personally want Belotti) but in this market we dont know what their price is, only really Belotti at 86M. Of the 4 strikers Laca/Belotti/Morata/Lukaku I would argue Lukaku has the most experience and success leading a line by himself, Morata has had the most team success obviously but not as much game time. I understand you don't like lukaku for whatever your reasons are, but the player has been massively successful in how a striker is deemed a success (goals, i know it can be debated but they are all being paid to score) in a very difficult league. If he does end up coming I will be fine with a fee of 70-80M but that being said I hope we don't set a world record for him.
-
Yes you are right he will still be out on loan, but my original point is Juve wasnt sending him out this year and selling Sandro. Spinazzola was already out and will continue to be out on loan, not an available option for Juve. Sandro may or may not still be sold.
