I really havent seen much of him only Youtubes but some good things said about him. We really dont have a good experience generally using guys we have bought and sent out on loan after buying them with high expectations.

No what it would be nice to get is a RB who forgot he was an actual defender sometimes or maybe stick a pair of roller skates on him so he could get back quicker if he did go forward.

But thats more of a fault of Banes than of Reus surely.

I like the guy and think hes a good player. The only thing Im against is we will lose any money in him. With a 4 year contract taking him to 31 I doubt he would be with us much longer so will probably be tried to sold in in 3 years time.

Im sure Roman and Emenalo have EA on speed dial to make sure theyre kept up todate on all our transfer news. They probably keep investigators in their media department digging thru bins and throwing money to secretarys etc. As for the photo all they need to do is Photoshop a head or new kit or a new person onto the cover. Only a simple job.

Thats a good point! There was so much chatter about him it seemed a forgone conclusion plus with some reports I read saying he joined Nathan plus the medical he supposedly had 4 or 5 days ago I presumed he was with us.

I cant make any guesses for next season yet without seeing everyones comings and goings. But Im GUESSING that Mous number 1 priority is going to be Europe. What I was wondering is what you guys would think if Mou turned around and said summet like "I want us to concentrate on the CL so Im not going into the home competitions seriously and we arent going to try to win the league only come in the top 4. But what I want to do is to use the games to experiment with players/formations etc so when we do play in Europe we will have the best team of fit,rested players we can use." I;m wondering if he would get a pat on the back for attempting it or a kick in the bollox from one and all.

I really cant see Barca shifting him this summer or it would leave them schtuk. If hes leaving it will be in the Jan sales. I know its not the thread but with everyone moaning about Sanchez and Ozil well I'd take them both quite happily!

We do know that its not always easy to change clubs even in a players own country let alone moving to the PL where it must be a shock to the system. Whereas we get some that take to it like a duck to water others never adapt. The problem we have is we expect people to make an instant change and because of our high expectancies and also because of the small size of our squad we need new players to hit the ground running. I do feel sorry for alot of our lads who havent made that instant hit with both Jose and us and Im sure if we was a mid table club without the pressures of needing to fight for top 4 and yearly silverware we could afford to take a season or 2 to experiment and wear them in gradually. But we ARE Chelsea and we do have a small squad so the need for us to sign complete,un injured, at the height of their game players is really important and tho its not nice to have to have a revolving door policy on imports sometimes it is understandable unfortunately. Im wondering how Vitesses seasons going to go with Brown,Baker and Nathan there? And any idea what we are going to do with Kennedy? Thought maybe he might get looked at pre season before they decided on him.

I must say if its true we sold him for 7m Euros Im shocked. The lad did everything that was asked of him last season. OK he didnt set the world on fire but Mou didnt use him enough and instead played favouritizm to Drogs. I understand he is his mate, one of our greatest ever players and his last season but we should never play fovourites with team selection. For a 3rd choice striker he sat quietly on the bench, never bitched or whined and got up and did his fuckin job. And for the money he cost us I dont think we coulda done much better. And selling him for that amounts just plain daft. Its plain as the nose on your face Mou just didnt get on with him for whatever reason which we know that means youre off. I hope we can get better than him but I got a feeling Bamfords going to come in.

We lacked depth before the summer started. The thing that gets me is Mou said a number of times early last year that he enjoyed having the problem of team selection. Yet I'm sure we could all have guessed the team most of the season. We lack decent alternatives. At the best what we have are mirror copies. Whats wrong with us trying to get 2 good players for as many positions as possible.

You know what I'm in 2 minds over the guy. Hes a very young talented lad, still fresh but with huge potential. It seems like hes one of these characters who knows hes good with an ego and had some bad advice from those around him. Hes a player like Hazard that with someone like Mou, a father figure,mentor who would look after him and teach him life shit as well as football then I think he would/could be amazing and fall in love with the club he played for. If a guy wants to leave somewhere why would you want to keep him. Yet on the other hand what does a contract mean anymore? Seems like you can have a 5 year contract one minute then be sold on the next whether its sold by your club or another one come sniffing around.

I hope this is one of those times hes proved miserably wrong.

The way I look at it is we lack creativity CM and all the vids Ive seen he looks a very clever lad. And tho he might not be the hardest guy on the pitch I think he suits our style of play.

I see the gooners are still busy. Going after Lacazette since being told he could leave and he said he would only goto a CL club. And seems Juve are going for Ozil as a replacement for the Pog. Excellent player that will really help the Mancs unfortunately. But at 30 how long for? I know hes cheap so maybe if they get a couple of good years out of him it would be worthwhile losing it. But would we buy him and give him over a 1 year contract?

He wasnt that loyal to us at the time he joined us. I remember that court case that went on in Norway wasn't it? All that palava with him holding that shirt up and United saying they signed him and we had paid for his education and talk about being forced by mafia types. Then in court it came out Mikel was crying on the day he signed with us because he had his heart set on Utd. As for Lamps well I really still dont know what the whole crack is. Mou said he was offered along with Cole the same contract as JT was.
