Theyre one of the richest clubs in the world and have more than enough money earned to never worry about the FFP guidelines. We too should also have a fair few quid saved up too so we should be able to splash out and buy a few top players we need. Whats made me laugh is the Fat Spanish Waiter. His ego must be going bonkers with his newly found fame and fortune. And with him stepping into the shoes of yet another of Joses old jobs hes just trying to flex his beer muscles. We all are aware of his petty jealousy of Jose and never being able to cut it with the big boys but its ridiculous to think Chelsea would let one let alone 2 of their prized posessions leave specially for a daft sum like that. Hazard has to be worth at least £80 mill and Costa £50mill. Its Chelsea that should be getting players off them. Let fat boy go buy himself a little tapas bar somewhere and leave the football alone.

If a player was to be judged for only one game then theres been games when I would sell our whole team. What we need to look at is not the player as an individual but how he would work as part of the team as a whole. We need central midfielders badly both defensive and offensively and theres no doubt that Pogba is one of the best there is and I'd happily have him with us for upto £50mill.

While I dont mind Bane roaming forward I think he needs a reminder at times hes a defender. Hes not the fastest and he gets lost to where he is sometimes and has to scramble back. We have a weakspot IMO between him and Cahill who also hasnt been himself for alot of this season and has looked very thin, weak and pale (just as Schurrle did). With JT more than likely being his last season and Cahill/Bane at the yearly contract age its time to look at upgrades. HOPEFULLY baring these ridiculous transfer rumours we got Zouma for Cahill (who Id swap now) And my dream is teaming him and Varane. (yes I know - very difficult, But its MY dream ) Which leaves either a LB or RB seeing as Filipe wont be here. But it is time for a change if we are going to build a team to be together for years and compete in Europe,
-
I just dont think Mou trusts him enough. Theres been alot of chances for us to give him time and do some swapping and changing. Id have liked to seen a Filipe/JT/Zouma/Dave lineup. But the old saying no smoke without fire and the gossip has gone on along time now. I do think he was a wrong buy even tho hes not a bad player. For his age he was too much money. It would be great for us (and Filipe) IF Athleti DID want him back. We could use him as part ex for Griezemann. Doesnt transfer season send ya bonkers?

Cant find the report I read where he said he was happy to stay but heres a similar kinda one. Griezmann : "We will give everything to have a good pre season and be prepared for big matches and the Champions League. "I want to score as many goals as I did this season, or more, next season." Earlier this week, Jose Mourinho tried to play down talk Chelsea are keen on the striker. He said: "Griezmann is a great striker but is not within our objectives to strengthen the squad for next season." However, according to sources in France, Griezmann himself might decide against a departure as he feels more than happy at the Vicente Calderon. But, more importantly, the red-hot striker is worried that any move away might affect his free-scoring form ahead of an important summer next year. Euro 2016 is being held in his native France and the Burgundy-born striker is desperate to play a key role for his country back on home soil. However, his place could come under threat if he fails to settle in at a new club quickly and he may not be prepared to take that risk, it has been suggested. I know transfers are difficult looking at it from all points of view. But I dont know why all the groundworks not been done pre silly season. at least reps talking to each other. Now whether Emenalo and the crew have set out feelers we will never know untill someone writes their memoirs. But as far as not meeting the buyout thats beyond me.It seems we have a £30mill cutoff fee and we wont get cheapo deals like costa and cescy every day. we need to spend some dosh for the players we need. Otherwise we will end up with wannabes and hasbeens. I like the lad and think he would go down a treat. I also think he would really help Costa.
-
Aye but Cuadrado never came out saying he wasnt coming to us like Griezmann has. I wonder what we have to do to make us more of a club for players to want to come to us?
-
Well he seems to be the biggest deal we have going right now. All the other ones are for young wannabes to fill the academy or send out on the loan merry go round. We need to be looking at some blinkin 1st team upgrades. I see Pogbas agent has stirred the pot saying he could leave for the right price. Cant we have a whip round?
-
He did actually have 4 assists this season and the Rags had this scoring goals line in his contract.

Ive been looking at us getting Falcao with a bit of a negative view. Ive just gone through a Rags forum reading their interesting comments on him. And while theres an awful lot of haters with their negative views there was also alot of pro Falcao also and they gave their reasons (not like the haters that just quoted the no goals comments). They commented on how he never got any real playing time. How he never got any support from LvG, how he was used in wrong ways and not given support fron the AMs, how he needed time to settle into the premiership like DiMaria and Tevez, how he came back too soon from his injury, how LvG used him as a marker with him being far too short to be one. There was alot of sensible support for the lad with comments like "if we decide not to sign him you watch it come back and bite us" and "just watch some other PL club sign him" While I still do think at his age and it would be a gamble for us I do think that if ANYONE can bring Falcao back to how he could be its Mou. I just dont know if he will get the regular playing time he needs to get his mojo back.
-
I hold my hands up and admit to not knowing much about him till his 'links' with us and all Ive really seen are his Youtubes. But the lad seems good and suits or counter attacking play. Hes fast, doesnt need a GPS to find the goal and looks good in the end 1/3rd. But I cant see Mou getting 4 strikers tho it would have come in handy last season through injuries eh.
-
I totally agree. I really like Remy and even tho hes not a game chamger I dont think he could have done much more than we asked of him. As a third striker we couldnt ask for much more. What I think we need is another top notch Costa like to fight and push each other for number 1. Who knows. Given alot of time and REGULAR games Falcao could get his mojo working I just dont think we can afford to gamble on it right now. If he was 2 or 3 years younger maybe. But hes not.
-
Well I hope that we do actually get him cause /I see him working well with us and I know Mou plays his cards close to his chest but saying we arentinterested in signing him makes me feel hes telling the truth. He was right last season when he said we had finished after our early deals and Im afraid I believe him now. Tho wouldnt it be great if we were punk'd.
-
You are joking arent you? You think hes going to start 15 games? Just maybe if he did start 15 games in a row it might make him Chelsea fit but how many if any goals will he score in those 15 games? We need strikers of Costas abilities that will push him. Drogs played 40 games scored 5 goals. Remy played 30 scored 9. Costa played 39 scored 21. Falcao played 32 scored 6. So he did play quite a few games he just didnt score many goals.
-
Im not saying that Falcao is a bad player. And I do think that given time and regular games with a good manager he might get back to a good level but we cant afford to be the ones to take that gamble on him can we? If he was a few years younger and we could afford to take a year or 2 to bring him on then yeah lets do it. But we need a guy ready to fight now. We already have 2 strikers with injury problems do we need another? Might as well keep a 37 year old with no legs or lung capacity but with an enormous heart.
-
Remy has done almost everything asked of him this season. Hes scored some good goals not only a goal sneak. Before he came to us I would have much prefered Bony but now Im really happy he came. I just dont think that he's got Mous trust. Theres been many times he could have played but Drogs was selected instead. As a 3rd striker I dont think we could ask for more but he would never push for top spot I dont think. What we need is someone that will and Falcao just isnt it.
-
3 maybe 2 years ago I'd have offered my left dangley for him but all Im seeing now is another Torres. Just like him hes not been right since his injury.. Plus with him getting older these injuries are going to get more often. If you look at him with a negative eye I wouldnt want to sign him. Theres got to be a younger fitter striker that also scores more goals we could sign who would want to push Costa for number 1. The only way to get Falcaos form back is regular playing time and a team built round him with a manager, team, fans that want him and believe in him. And with his time ant United being so crap its going to be difficult to sway Chelsea supporters IF we do sign him IMHO.

Is anyone as nervous as me concerning transfers? In the silly season we are continually 'linked' to every player who pops his head up or whose money grabbing agent wants some hype for his player Last summer was no different but it seemed we did our homework. Jose/Emenalo etc had a plan on the main lads we wanted and their idea of who didnt fit. And they went out and signed them quick. And while 2 worked out great and the 3rd depending who is asked we was in and out fast. This year as usual we are linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry. Me I think we could upgrade 3 or 4 of the 1st team and I'd happily get rid of the same amount but Im sure we all have our own ideas on who we want and who we dont want. And while I know its not as easy as us just wanting a player (for various reasons) we dont seem to be very busy compared to our PL opposition. I really liked the idea of getting Griezman but it seems Mou doesnt. But yet it looks like we are going to buy a replica Torres. 2/3 years alo Id have loved Falcao here. I dont think hes ever been a top scorer as his goal numbers are boosted with penaltys. Hes definitely not been right since his last injury (just like Torres) and I wouldnt take him if he cut his wages in half and he came for £20mill. I know we dont have that magnetic attraction like United/RM/Barca/BM and even Arsenal/Juve but we have made a few quid so should be able to put our hand in our pocket for some proper in form talent. Im worried that we will get left behind next season and we wont cut it in Europe or the PLwith the same lads we have now IMHO.
-
While I think thats a ridiculous statement as theres different reasons to 'sit back' I do believe we should grow some balls and run over some of these teams. We was dispatching the 'minnows' with ease and playing beatiful football earlier in the season. Ive not believed I was watching the same team at times this year. I dont put this intirely at Joses door hes just one of the factors. Just think if we win this. 8 Point lead and game in hand! Cheer up bruv its almost party time and paint the town Blue! Id rather have Jose than 99% of all other managers and Ive still got faith in him. Off to the pub, see you at the Bridge. Come On Youe Blues!

The twat never tries to sway a refs decision does he eh?
-
Well Ive got no idea on how Jose/Emenalo's minds work as far as transfers go and i gave up trying to think who will come and go ages ago cause im always wrong. BUT i do know that we both need a couple of upgrades and also optoions for players we already have We desperatly need alternatives for cescy and Matic. I wouldnt mind losing rami and Mikel but who would want them for the money we would need? But when either of them arent playing we seem lost. Theres many manes been mentioned and id be happy with most of them. We need shot of Cahill. Hes had a pretty bad season ever since his knock in the head. I would donate my left dangley for varane, its my dream to see him and Zouma as our central defence. Dont know what to say about oscar thats not been said. If he could stay like he was pre December then id say keep the lad but this pattern of apathy is getting monotonous. We need to think too what will happen to players we have on loan performing well and how we can fit in the newly promoted lads from the academy next season. And does Petr have a dog or something we can kidnap and ransom to him if he agrees to stay next year? im up for giving it ago if anyones willing.

I know in a perfect world we shouldnt need to rely on other teams losing for us to win the premiership but this is by no means a perfect world and Ill take the premiership title any way they want to give us it. Last time we played Saints it was Taylor who appologized to Jose for the crap booking Cescy got and today we have Mike Dean again so lets just hope hes in unbiased mode. IF we beat the saints we shouldnt have any problems with the rest of the season. Yes i remember the 8 point lead we had a couple years back but this season we have Jose and Ive still got total faith in him. We are at the mo 2 games in hand over Citeh so 8 points with a game in hand Id take that every bloomin season and bet all I had we would take the silverware home. Id just like to see us play without the handbrake on. Tell them to just go have fun and do their bollox. TEBO Dave Happy JT Filipe Cescy Matic Square Willian Eden The Beast

Maybe the Pensioners could give us £12 mill and sponser our training kit. I wouldnt mind if that was all red then.
-
As I put hes done really all we have asked from him. So theres got to be some reason why hes not been put in more as theres been alot of chances. I like the lad and although I will admit to being against us signing him pre season and wanted Bony instead Im glad we went this way. Like I said for a 3rd striker hes done great. 3 goals in 3 starts/9 appearances you cant complain at that. Id like to see more of him.
-
Its not a case of wanting to go buy a new striker (although we do need one) Its a case of only having 2 to choose from. Like has been said Bamford will more than likely goto Boro if they get promotion. IF we did decide to keep him here he wouldnt get the game time he wants so he wouldnt want to stay. so the best bet for both parties (us and PB) is to sell him to Boro. I couldnt guess what we could get for him if tha time came tho. As for Remy I dont see him staying neither. I dont really see Mou having much faith in him. Theres been many times where he could have had more playing time but Mous just not put him on. And hes not really made the most of those chances hes had. Although he has done really all we have asked of him as a 3rd striker. Its difficult as a 1 striker playing club as any striker of real note wants to be playing games and not happy warming he bench so attracting them isnt easy (unless theyre happy just to get the wage) It would be nice to sign a more prolific scorer as a 2nd choice. Well we need a couple of upgrades I suppose.

Hes at the age where he needs to make an impression. And we all know that unless the teams manager likes the look of him and they get on hes not going to make it in the 1st team. Hes got a good scoring average this year and last and with some more games could be a 20 goals player. A year in the premiership with Boro will do him no harm at all but I hope our management is keeping in touch with him and keeping him thinking about us in his future. But yes it will do him good another year with Boro in the premiership.
