I had a big man crush on the Beast from day 1. Him and Cescy brought something we had been missing for a bit not just on the pitch but in the stands. From pre season we were looking at each other with our gobs open thinking WTF!! His spirit and drive is great and I think considering how much stick he gets from the opposition he's got the patience of a saint. But I love his character. I fell in love with him when we went to Everton. He must have woke up the next morning black and blue but the way he got under Coleman and Howards skin was nearly as good as the 3-6 win. If we can keep Costas head in the right frame of mind and the thing hes got going with Cescy as well as his dodgy pin then he could get golden boot. But the thing I dont get is if he can get an op to fix his leg then why wasnt he straight into hospital on the monday after Palace? He would have been well on his way to recovery and by the time we were back to training he would be right as rain.

It would be ridiculous and backward thinking if Mou sent Zouma out on loan. The whole reason he didn't go this year was because Mou thought he would learn more with on site training. I think hes at Cahills level now and the only way he shouldnt take it already is if we do get Varane (which we should do all we can to make happen) They would be a perfect match up and complement each others strengths and weaknesses So if Mou hasn't been on the phone to him already (not slagging off opposition but kissing his arse) then hes not the manager I think he is.

Hes looked physically weak,thin,pale (like Schurrle did) And I would select Zouma over him. So IF we did get Varane it would be a no contest decision.

Dont be daft. We get Cahill out now and put Varane in. We gradually put Zouma in more and more over the season and he takes over full yime at end of the year. Having 2 of the youngest most amazing central defenders together and not playing them would be like having Messi and benching him. (well you get me point)

Why do we keep getting linked with Miranda?? We already have 4 defenders in their 30s. 1 thats not been right for alot of the season and gets nervous when the ball comes into the box, one that thinks hes a striker for alot of the time and forgets hes a defender, one thats more than likely going back to where we bought him from less than a year ago after we barely used him Yeah I know hes only 29 but .....) and our duracell bunny Capitano thats PROBABLY in his last year with us. We really need to look at our back 4. One of our strengths has always been a strong defence and getting ones who will gel and grow together for years would be great. We need to shell out on Varane for a start. Having him and Zouma together makes me drool

Just a general observation but last year we had a small squad of 22 players. Mou keeps saying we dont want to lose any players and wants to bring in 2 or 3 new ones. And altho nothings confirmed we have at least 3 players leaving (Cech,Remy,Cuadrado) This is going to put us right back with the small squad lacking depth that we have now.

What I dont understand is why Costa was not in the hospital getting sorted on the monday after Palace. It would have been done and dusted with him safely in the magic hands of Doc Eva. I just dont get it. As for El Tigre its time to start getting behind the lad whatever we thought of him in red. Its hard for players to change teams sometimes let alone countries,leagues,managers,styles of play etc. Mou is a clever sod and hes not a sentimental pushover so if he thinks hes good enough for us with all the players hes got logged down having had his beedy eyes on then we should start to do our job. You might not think much to Falcao but trust that Mou knows what hes doing.

Well lads I know theres been some ummm doubts about him, moreso in the last year when hes been wearing that sickly red shirt, butits time to get behind the lad and do what we can to give the lads confidence a boost. If hes good enough for Mou to get behind him then theres got to be summet in him.

Ive got quite a few old ones from the 60s on and ones by fave players, all signed and some mounted and hung up around the house and I pull one out to wear for big games. Wore a Drogs shirt from the 2004-05 season signed by most of the lads that season for the CL final. I put us winning down to me rubbing his signature for that last penalty.

Just saw on WAGNH. What a shame. I really thought we might have made an agreement with him last season. He would have added some great depth for us. Its going to go bonkers now about The Pog. Silly season times 2.

We may not be broken but we do have a couple of bad sprains in places. We may be a winning team but one that a couple of upgrades wouldnt hurt at all. You say that having 2 world class players for every position doesnt happen in the real world. Why? Maybe not every position but a couple of strikers pushing each other (specially one with dodgy legs) would be great. As for us needing Mikel and Ramires then you have them cause I dont want them. They have had a few good times with us which I thank them for but if we want to progress in Europe we really do need to get rid of some waste. I realize we dont have the magnetism of United/Barca/RM/BM even dare I say Gooners and Juve but we got a few quid in the bank so why not spend a bit to boister the 1st team instead of more kids and ones to go straight onto the loanagoround. Im not saying to rebuild from scratch but if you say we dont need to upgrade some players I will call you bonkers.

I hope hes just trying to pull a Mou cause IMHO thats not enough. Thers bound to be some sells or loanaways too so whereas before he said he wanted to grow the squad to 25/26 it shall leave us the same as last season. I'm still nervous and begining to quiver.

While I hate the gooners with a real passion they were very unlucky this season. Their Germans came back from the WC 2 weeks after Schurrle did so they were very sluggish for alot of the early season. And they had so bad luck with injuries. We couldnt of handled it with our small squad. We had enough problems sorting a striker out. Like them or hate them they came back strong and we were just lucky to have had a big buffer built up early in the season. And if Wenger gets a few good transfers (with us helping them big time with big Pete) then I see them being a force to deal with next year.

I totally agree plus I would go a step further. Id also upgrade both Cahill and I might get boo'd for this one - Bane. He gets lost forward and totally forgets hes a defender. Plus as hes not the fastest it takes him ages to track back. I wouldnt mind if he just went forward on occasions but I think he scores a goal and it goes to his head. Plus hes at the yearly renewable age and if we want a team who will gel together and become dominant for awhile we need to start looking at our back 4. Id have donated my damgleys for Varane to team him and Zouma up but realize its a hard one. Plus with what looks like some sellings/loans that Mou said wasnt going to happen if he could help it, we will have a smaller squad than we already have. I hope Im just being a big girls blouse but Im a tad nervous.

You say group A got regular playing time then you say they got limited playing time. I agree that Mou needs to have confidence in the players or they dont get picked and I would place Remy,Filipe and Cuadrado in that pigeon hole. For whatever reason he does it we wont change it. IMHO If a player wants to throw all his toys out of their pram and have a hissy fit and try to hurt the club because of whatever reason then they should be helped along their way. No matter who it is. The club is bigger than 1 or 2 players egos. We knowwhat Mou thinks to rotation for whatever reason I cant understand but the thing I really dont get is a few times early last season he was asked in interviews about team selection. Mostly asked about which keeper etc etc. But his answer to that was I like to have selection problems. I like finding it hard to decide who to select. Anyone looking at us might just call him out on that one.

I think Griezmann would be ideal for us and I pray to the footballing atoms that Jose is just pulling a Mou on us just to wind us up. Its worked!

And with the players we shall be selling (because they were bought in error or because their faces dont fit or just dont seem to be Joses cup of tea) eg Filipe,Cuadrado,Remy. So that means if we get the 3 players we shall be 1 less player than this season with our already small squad. We needed to add 5 more players IMHO It depends on which players decide to be on form and for how long.We have a few players that decided to go into hibernation mode post December which didnt help us at all. If they decide to be off for a bit longer then we got no chance. It was only because we played so well when the others were not we had such a big buffer built up. If we go into next season with the same lads as this season we have trouble. Last 'links' are to the gooners.

Sorry bruv but IMHO we will not be in that list unless we make some upgrades and add some good depth. We might just be left behind and Im nervous.
