I missed the bleedin Lolpool game a couple weeks back Ive been staying 80 miles away from town and was waiting for the girlfriend to get back with my car (old Beetle convertible - my baby) so I could get downfor the game. She phoned crying and said she had been in a crash. So I jumped in a cab and goes the 15 miles to where she was to find it was only a fender bender. So after the cops had finished I drove home. Almost at home when I gets pulled over by the cops who did a background check and decides to search me. So unfortunately I missed the game! Women eh. What would we do without them?

You can imagine how he felt not playing in the final. I didnt mind at all him coming on in his kit holding the cup. The lad bleeds Chelsea and his testimonial (he better bloody get one) is going to be a belter.

Maybe Im wrong or just getting a pesimistic sod in my old age but we are fare game for every Tom Dick and Harriet to have a go at and Im wondering if some dodgy journalist and this lad have been just watching and waiting for their chance to make it happen? Ive been away with England when something had kicked off the night before and there was press all over the gaff. They was sitting with us buying as much drinks as anyone wanted and stirring the more vocal and unruley ones up trying successfully to create more havoc. We all know someone who goes to the games with some type of racist views or maybe just gets carried along with the flow of the people around him but we also know just how the modern media operate.

But just look how much it would help the French national squad. Mind you we got 4 of Brazils 1st team and it hasnt helped them much eh.

I hear ya mate but Varanes moning now about playing time so hes not going to be chuffed another year warming the bench.

I know we all drool at the thought of the Varane/Zouma team and Id give my left dangley to make it happen but we know its going to be a sod trying to get him. And with JT on form and refusing to let his Duracell batteries run down hes not going to give up his spot without a scrap. and unlike our beloved Lamps and Cashley he dont mind the years contract (and didnt he even take a pay cut?) So do we get Varane (or whoever) and let him get playing time like Zouma so he can just step into the squad full time when JT goes or do we wait till the last minute and grab who we can get? Its looking like CB's are in need right now so its a sellers market.

I hear ya and we all know how physical the English game can be but our little Magic Box managed to do it just fine. Plus Cuadrado was said by 'one of the biggest scouts of a big club' that Dwarfs belonged in the circus. hes done ok.

The thing is where would we play him and who would we leave out? I love the lad and think we would be real lucky to get him and you cant deny that we do need that option. (well we need a few options - upgrades IMHO) Its going to be a right battle to get him and I think the only way we would get him (OR Varane in that matter) are swaps.

I dont know you lads but I just posted this on another Chelsea site Im on so I thought Id add to the topic I flew over monday morning at 7am with 6 mates and came home yesterday morning and we had a hellova time. We met some girls that took us on a crawl round all the bars and clubs for 3 nights and there was only 1 bit of trouble when a group of drunken french guys started summet at 4am one morning and it was the girls with us that sorted them out. I wasnt going to get into the whole ‘racist’ thing but I think I should. Going back in the days of the old Headhunters my uncle used to be one of them from the 70s onwards. I came to England at 13 and he would take me along to the games. I got to know alot of them and must admit that while there was a element of it going on it was by now way a majority and it caused alot of heated divides amongst them. Most I was told was more of a strong English belief of the area they lived in and not directly one to ‘foreigners’ Remember sometime ago we had alot of those guys hanging around giving out disgusting right wing literature trying to spread their evil word to us. You know the groups I mean C18/NF/EDL/BM and I know of many times groups of us went toe to toe with them and chased them from the ground. These people dont only target us they do this at all clubs but its Chelsea that gets picked on (for whatever reason) And I know that unfortunately its legal for these ijits to do this but its something that we had to do to stop them preying on our supporters and something we were just sick of seeing and hearing about. Racism isnt about football. There are bigots in every company,shop,business,offices in every bar,pub,club in every village,town,city not only in England,UK but the world over. I travel around India,Thailand alot going to places where they very rarely see white people or hear English and have only come across negative behaviour towards me once when I was trying to start a fishing business for tourists and they took exception to someone taking work from them (sound familiar?) All I have ever taken with me and recieved in these places is love and awillingness toget to know and understand different cultures. I always take Chelsea stuff with me to give people as football is a great way of groundbreaking and bringing down barriers. Ive not seen the level of support or seen these people around the club for awhile but I for 1 if I had been there on the Metro and seen these prats that lad would have been on that train.

I wonder if Blanc is some kinda evil genius trying to play the ultimate mind fuck in just pulling players off pretending theyre injured? Well it wont be long now till we find out eh! Im off tomorrow morning and coming back thursday so if its owt like last years jaunt it should be a good crack. See you all out there if youre going. I got a really good feeling about this lads.
