Not nice being away from them. Ive had 3 JRTs now and each had such different characters but each one happy and cheaky, like me I suppose. But living in a small flat in Brixton Ive no yard but he sits on my shoulder on my Lambretta when I take him out. Never liked cats as theyre self suffiicient and dont have conversations with us. I can come home wrecked after a session and he stands there looking at me as if to shake his head and say 2 look at the state of you ". Think he learned it from the Mrs!

I know its impossible but it would be great to be able to have no pressure at all, say like a mid table PL side, so we could do all the things we would love to do. Like using the lads like him who have glimpses of being very good or putting in our good academy lads. But we have too much pressure and expectations on us to do that and I dont think theres an easy answer to be able to do it. Its a shame we dont have a 'B' team as that would solve alot of problems but we dont so its either send them out on the loanagoround or take a gamble and if they dont make it in the years chance theyre given then they go again.

My heart goes out to ya! 2 years ago I had waited 3 or 4 months too long before I took my dog to the vets. My Max had been with me thru some really shit times and I dont mind saying I cried like a baby. I know not everyone will agree but we really need to upgrade our depth. What I dont understand is how this lot can get 2/3 very good players (you can say theyre crap but ) for every position on the pitch and we have a couple that at their best are a mirror image of the one on the pitch. Its not like I dislike any of our lads, theyre Chelsea ffs, but I wont be convinced that we wouldn't be able to get better to replace lads in 1st team and alternatives on the bench. Peoples arguments seem to be, anyone thats any good wouldnt be happy to sit on the bench. Then how the hell do other clubs manage to do it ok. If we lived in a perfect no pressure,who gives a fuck about winning world we would all love nothing more than to just keep promoting from within. And if Roman was to tell Mou thats what he wanted there would be uproar and fighting in the stands. (not for the 1st time) I understand as much as anyone how we get attached emotionally to players but Lamps leaving the way it happened has mad me realize we cant afford sentimentality where team selection is concerned and if we get a chance to upgrade a player or to improve the team then we should take any chance we can get. IMHO of course.

Wouldn't it be a turn up for the books tho. We are sitting here with our thumbs up our arses (like others I'm sure) thinking "oh he isn't going nowhere' and them scouse gits go along and snag him being theyre the only ones actually offered a proper sum for him. Not likely I know but we never know what we can get until we ask.

Its all well and good saying we dont need to upgrade but I must be watching different players sometimes? If you think that we can get away with the lads we played this season and win the League again and make any progress in Europe just by giving RLC and Ake more playing time then I really hope we get the chance to do it. It might mean messing this season up but then next season we could upgrade the 1st team players and the depth that we do need. All IMHO of course.

Look mate its got bugga all to do with pre season,health,fitness,Werder Bremen. You dont have to have been to one of our games to understand the deep ummm feeling we have towards them. Its a natural hatred towards them. Its in our DNA. Thats why it hurt so much Big Pete going to them. Would we give a fuck if he went to Southampton? Would we buggary. Losing to 'them' at anything just isn't on.

I just dont understand how people are content to keep a lad that doesnt always do the job which we pay him a lot of money to do. He is basically paid to shut the game out when Mou gets shakey when we are leading by a goal. We have seen that this does not always work. So thats either Mous tactics or the players on the pitch not doing their jobs. Im not a JOM hater hes had some good games with us. BUT I do think that IF we are truly serious and commited to doing summet in Europ as well as a CONTINUOUS threat in the PL we need to start cutting some of the ones we should be upgrading. We arent going to be able to sell him easy. Its not his transfer fee its supposedly his £5mill wage and because its not going to be a top club looking at him they cant afford his wages.
