I wasn't talking just about this half so far mate but in general, terrible by our standard. We really should be destroying these teams with our 11 and even if we play our 11 we won't, which is annoying.
-
But then there will always be excuses, it is Costa's 1st year remember
-
Terrible preseason so far, really hope we improve next week in BPL. All the fitness excuses doesn't cut it anymore either.
-
Not sure if serious?
-
Thing is defenders will now try to kick the hell out of him, he will either get mad and retaliate or be injured. I hope something can be done about this, I am sure a lot of defenders will be planning to do it
-
Everyone would love to see all if not most of the squad players being used, I think what he meant is that Jose might just bring out the likes of Brown, Bamford...etc which at this stage is not necessary anymore but rather time to prepare for the new season next week
-
One problem, don't think he tracks back enough and that means no for Jose. in fact he is really relaxed, I hope Jose doesn't pull the plug if he is available.
-
Arsenal is capable of paying 100m in one go, they just don't do it. However who knows, maybe they think signing Cavani will sort them for the next 5-7 years and pay 50m, which they will get him for that.
-
For 70-80m they can have him LOL
-
Naaa Oscar is next on the list and rightly too, needs to improve on his consistency or faces being forced out of the club. Then it will be Courtois when we start to concede a bit often than usual and the Cech fans will start to attack him in their 1st chance. Followed by Ramires and the hate list is complete for now.
-
I know I meant because of things like that and not banging in a goal from 20 yards out or dribbling past 4 players in a role so he isn't recognized by other people as much as Hazard. Physically he is way better than Hazard imo, never injured and can run all game long without tired.
-
Sign new contract until 2019, ending any rumors for the next 2 years probably.
-
Along with Oscar, imo also a pretty big season for this guy. Always been said around Europe as one of those 'top player' but never really had the chance to prove it at a big club, last season you could say it was his 1st year after Russia...etc but if he is truly be recognized as 1 of the top winger in the world he would need to improve on his statistics. He is very talented and is capable of doing Hazard moments, he is just not as flashy and willing to track back a lot so he is underrated by many people.
-
He probably did, he is getting 100k+ per week atm. If he agreed to stay for lets say 20k, I am sure the club will have considered it. But naaa he earns 5-6 times more elsewhere so why not?
-
Really? I never knew that but he always seems one of those top guy who truly 'loved' his club, still follow them closely today...etc
-
Ah yeah we just came back from Germany after Bremen game didn't we, I thought it was a tour around Europe so we are only gonna be back after this Sunday, forgetting it only takes a couple of hours to comeback to England anytime haha

It is funny how people started to be so attached to football players, they start to rage when things like this happen. Lampard loved Chelsea as much as we love our phone, for example if we were just a Southampton and Roman never bought us, while Lampard still had that world class form and lets say MU came in with 30m bid, would he wants to leave some where in 2004-2007 when he were one of the best player in the world and we were some mid table team like Soton? Probably... Chelsea players loyalty is overrated in a sense that we were one of the club around that challenges consistently for top honors every season and pay good money for players, they don't leave us not because of 'love, loyalty' or any other cringe worthy ideas fans come up with, they do it because they know this is one of the very best stop for their career and only around 3-4 clubs are better. Now Lampard leaves us, but City/New York is paying him 100k+ per week with the request that he plays for City, he obviously will accept it because it is professional. There is no such thing as 'love' when taking this into consideration, the only reason he requested not to be playing against us(rumor) is because of the respect he has for the club and the fan, this is not love. The sooner you guys see players as nothing but employees of the club the better you will be able to enjoy it. Hazard or any of our top players doesn't 'love' the club, they will eventually leaves/be sold and then never be mentioned/associated with Chelsea again. It doesn't matter if they are banging in 30 goals for a couple of years. For example Suarez now, does Liverpool fans still love him or are most coming out with insults for him now he fucked them over again(after last summer). He also admitted he 'loved' Liverpool. You know what is true love for the club? players like Matt Le Tissier...etc. Top players who could have played for top teams but chosen to remain with their mediocre clubs.
-
He looks like someone who got the potential of a long ban at least once in the next couple of years in him. Maybe around 4-5 matches for some stupid thing beyond normal such as jumping on opponent's ankle or elbow a player in the face.
-
Are any of the 1st team gonna be involved here or some will/won't? Fabregas apparently already back in London with his girlfriend and I don't think the club will just allow some players to go home/some stay?
-
With Lewandowski up top and Thiago/Bastian behind, might as well sign Hummels to make the team near flawless and have top 5 players in the world in just about almost every position on the pitch. Not to mention Ribery and Robben too haha.

Hmm if we don't go in for him at 50m I can't blame the board, seems a bit too much for me. Maybe 35m max.
