His last kick for Chelsea is to lose us the European Super Cup, the only trophy we never won in our history? that along with the fact that everyone knows he is a Chelsea fan+ want to become a Chelsea legend is just irony. Life is funny isn't it, sometime destiny always has something else in plan for you. I am sure no one could see this ending when we signed him in 2011, not even the board or the player himself. So 3 years after signing, he is sold without scoring a single goal or contributed to a single trophy.
-
Something along the lines of ''I signed for Everton because the manager respects and have faith in me. I was never given a chance at Chelsea to prove myself...etc''
-
Funny if they announce his signing then have a press conference for him straight away.
-
With Drogba we now have 2 beast free kick takers
-
We will never go into the new season with just 2 established strikers so that sort of makes sense. However if we are planning to buy another striker Torres could go
-
Cavani 60m, Falcao 55m, Costa 32m. Massive difference

Is There One Big Signing Left In Us?
MrBlueGuy replied to Special Juan's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
If we get rid Torres I think we will bring in a good striker like Bony. Until then though no more as we have exceeded squad limit, Lukaku being sold doesn't help. -
With the exception of Torres but even then he probably already made up more than 20m of his transfer fee through shirt sale and we won the CL-our main aim so arguably he fulfilled his purpose to.
-
Essentially for nothing+ profit as even if we were to have a fire sale Courtois alone would make up for that, even if he is benched for the whole of this season.
-
Exactly similar players, that would be the biggest LOL by the club this summer.
-
While he won't play today anyone think he should? Imo it is not like he is gonna have to learn lots of new tactics or anything, same principle of staying in goals and trying to make saves. Maybe learn to communicate with the defence
-
So is Barcelona with Fabregas, Sanchez, Thiago, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic and Bayern with Kroos, Luiz Gustavo,
-
On Sky it said he is set to join Everton and he tweeted an encrypted goodbye message on his twitter, check it.
-
Anyone know how to display his tweet in that link?
-
He still bring in millions for the club every year through his shirt, that is one of the reason he is staying too.

Don't worry, we will sign some young striker from Porto in a couple of years from now or Atletico Madrid.

http://babb.telegraph.co.uk/2014/07/how-barcelona-and-real-madrid-became-the-only-two-teams-that-matter-in-world-football-and-why-it-wont-last/ Scroll down to shirts, highest Chelsea shirt seller yearly apparently, even more than the likes of Hazard...etc. Unbelievable
-
24m deal very close to being agreed, looks like he is going for good without scoring a goal for Chelsea.
-
Do you even know what technical ability is? Schurrle the worst trolololol. Hazard is probably a 5 stars, Wilian a 3 and Schurrle a 4. Technical includes flicks and shooting techniques, crosses as well. Willian doesn't excel at any of it, he is pretty good at some of those traits but not exceptional. One thing he got is pace though and willingness to track back, probably the best out of all our cam at that and that is why he is so important for Jose
-
The "completed" Chelsea side and attractive football.
MrBlueGuy replied to Shakez's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
We will never play 'attractive football' under Jose, it is just not his mentality. Also it depends on your perception of it, if it means free flowing high scoring games like Dortmund, Liverpool, City, Real, Barcelona last seasons then it will just never ever happen under Jose. He will never instruct the team to go to City and 'enjoy yourself' but rather 'if we don't win, we don't lose as well'. It is just something you cannot change, he has been following this structure his whole career and it brought him a lot of success, he won't and probably cannot change it. Last season for example we tried it but the results were starting to go bad so he reversed back to his usual style. The best we can hope for is to emulate Atletico last season, that is what Jose is really aiming for imo. That Atletico side was pretty much a Jose style side, resilience, hard to beat, winning a lot, defend well. So don't expect record breaking goals or something like that, but most clean sheets is entirely possible. That is what you get with Jose, this is something that won't change. -
Or Reus CAM as well or Reus RW Willian CAM, he can play any where off the ST and even as a ST himself so would be extremely useful for us. I think this might be Oscar's final season as a Chelsea player unless he surprises Jose and scores/assists over 10-15 goals.
-
Removed from all press photos for away kit apparently, maybe something is up in the air with him?
-
Not surprise, he is ambitious and he knows Dortmund won't be able to compete so he is giving it 1 more year before considering a move, also when that clause kicks in as well. He really could be our next season if Costa and Oscar aren't up to it. In case of Oscar he will probably have to follow David Luiz out to PSG.
-
Because thing is he actually work hard and does what Mou says, just that he is so crap he cannot do anything. It is like asking a cat to catch mouse, he will try but he is so shit at it most of the time the mice still able to run around the house, but the cat tries so you cannot blame it. Also no one wants it because it eats a lot while doing so little so we are stuck with it until it dies.
