88m some are reported, overpriced as hell but for them it is worth it I suppose. Now Di Maria, Isco and Khedira will be sold to make room and gain back some money. Khedira 20m, Isco 25-30m, Di Maria 40-45m. Which ever team got them will have got great players on their hand, albeit extremely high wages for Khedira and Di Maria. Liverpool would be foolish imo to ignore Isco or Di Maria especially, same with Khedira and Arsenal.

Just hope he doesn't carry his Arsenal/Barcelona form into 2nd half of the season like he has done for the last God knows how many years.

No need to rush especially as our CB is our strongest position atm under Jose.

Which 'top team' will take him now as he wanted a CL club apparently lol, here are some teams imo he could join: Everton-no need to say more Spurs-unlikely but not impossible, most likely imo Juve- extremely unlikely now Morata signed Milan- doubt they can afford him and I don't think we will loan him with him entering final year next year, maybe if they manage to sell Balotelli Inter- cannot afford him, cannot even afford Mikel so unlikely Monaco-not linked but could be possible especially with Falcao might be joining Madrid, but a lot of things needed to happen for it to even be considered Dortmund-also now unlikely with Immobile and Ramos signed, maybe even impossible Arsenal- never knows Wenger might get desperate and offer 30m for him in last days of transfer, unlikely but who knows hahahhaha Liverpool- same with Arsenal although doubt Jose will allow him to go there or to Arsenal. A big offer might force us to think though Wolfsburg- also most likely of all especially since they have the money, will make him Kevin 2, impressed on loan but kicked out for attitude with Jose There you go, all the 'top clubs' that he said he will join if he leaves Chelsea. He can where no10 for all I care as long as he performs as the best LB in the world(if Hazard doesn't mind obviously ) I never knew the no3 was traditional fullback shirt, in football only 1,7,8,9,10 and 11 are traditional numbers imo. Defenders can have different ones like Terry 26 for example or Cahill 24.

Thinking about it 60m for him is ridiculous no matter how good he is, I hope the club don't pay that for him. Max we should go is 40-45m and that would still be a bit overpriced, the likes of Modric, Kroos and top class CM are around 30m. Herrera is the only exception which MU overpaid and Bilbao is known to be tough negotiators(or not negotiating at all, release clause are the only way)

10m feel more like his value but if his buyer is someone like Inter who really doesn't have that much money we cannot do anything about it.

Like I said their average was only so high because they have quite a few players around the 100k mark and a few above that, then there are Messi and Neymar who is on 200k+, I think Messi is on 300k now. I didn't say they were getting paid 10-20k each or something like that, but overall a lot less than what they would get at other top teams. Sanchez around 100k now 140k at Arsenal, Ozil probably the same. Khedira now demanding the same, Higuain previous on around 50-70k now close to 100k at Napoli and countless other examples. The point is just because you are at the best clubs in the world doesn't mean you get paid the best wages around. You get more at teams like us, City, PSG, Monaco and the Russian teams like Anzhi before they gave up.

Yeah that tag applies to him because he is supposed to be so much in demand. I mean they didn't go through all that trouble to sign him if he is just a great player but in general this rule applies to majority of their signings unless they are Bale, Neymar, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Casillas, Ramos...etc. Players that are more connected or made the headline when they signed with the club. The likes of great players like Modric, Khedira, Song, Alexis, Fabregas, Marcelo...etc get peanut compared to those.

Actually this might surprise you all but Real/Barca/Bayern...etc don't actually pay all their players ridiculous wages. Higuain, Ozil, Khedira, Kroos...etc are/were not even on 100k+ during their time there or barely around 100k like Alexis. Only the mega super stars like Messi, Ronaldo...etc get anything above 200k, even the likes of Casillas, Xavi, Iniesta, Ribery, Robben got 150-200k or there about. That is why many players leave Real/Barca/Bayern to not only become star players in other teams but also to get pay better. At those clubs they expect that the right to play for one of these prestigious club alone make up for the lower wages than what they will get elsewhere. Most players do it because they can say in their CV that they have played for the 3 biggest clubs in the world but eventually end up leaving.

Now just Mikel and Torres out too with Khedira/Pogba/Vidal coming in and we will have possibly the best transfer summer in Chelsea history.

PSG cannot sign anyone anymore this summer as their budget is restricted to 50m, which they have blew all on Luiz. Well unless they decide to ignore it but I doubt it, although they could always sell the likes of Pastore, Lavezzi...etc or even Cavani to continue spending. Next summer is a different story though so we really need to get him this summer if he decides he wants to leave.

So 32+30+19 for Luis roughly around 80-85m with Luiz being sold for 40-50m. Basically we have spent only around 35-45m max of our own money on players, I would imagine we still have at least 30-40m more to spend if needed not to mention the likes of Ba will be sold soon to add to the budget. Hopefully one final push for a Khedira/Vidal/Pogba then we can be done with our business for quite sometime seeing as our squad is almost complete. Next summer maybe another ST and a new CB if Costa isn't up to it or Terry starting to get injured more often/leave. So now that is GK, RB, LB, at least 1 CB, at least 1 CDM, CAM, and possibly ST settled for around 3-4 years min bar anything catastrophic.

In a year time if he still hasn't signed a new contract he will be worth 20-30m max as he only got 1 year left. Essentially if any team offer even 50m now imo they will take it if Pogba says he won't sign a new contract

It is natural when you just bought a new Porsche only to realize your rival got a new Ferrari, of course you would be worried. Not to mention it is the fastest and best racing car on the market apparently for a bargain price.

Me too I mean wtf Herrera 33m and Vidal 35-40m? which team he wouldn't improve? even Barcelona, PSG, Madrid all had the best CM in the world in their team he will still own it. Cannot believe MU is getting a free run at this.
