WTF how on Earth did a debate about his religion got into this. Also fasting for a couple of weeks won't damage his strength or physical performance by any bit as he will surely has made it up after by eating more. Using fasting as an excuse/reason to berate him is unacceptable.

Look like another wasteful signing imo especially with Boga and Baker on our hand. Only signed because we didn't want Liverpool to get him, now he might be loaned out then eventually sold for like 5m in a couple of years if he isn't given a chance this season. I don't think he will get any other chance, especially with so many attacking mid available every summer now like Gritzemann or Reus next year it is much easier to buy a proven world class player then to keep having faith in the likes of Salah.
-
It doesn't matter, against a team finishing 8th in the Austrian league this is not good enough. Also we main dominated possession but do nothing with it that can be considered dangerous. We are really dangerous on the break with the through balls.
-
No attempt to control the game at all, still relying on counter attack mostly.
-
Look like our tactics won't be much different from last season, still counter attack against most good teams and try to control against smaller teams. I guess Fab and Costa are bought to help us in those matches against bus parking teams and be more clinical. Against big teams we won't control the match like Bayern, Barca, Real.
-
Good enough to play there and often does for Germany
-
He will join us next summer for 30m if Diego Costa isn't up to it for Jose and the club.
-
Just hope he doesn't start the season by getting frustrated and end up getting banned a few games for being silly(elbow, spit, headbutt) or whatever things he usually does. By September if he still struggles I worry he would start to retort to these type of things in his game. He is not Torres who will just lonely walks through matches at time without caring about anything, he will get involved one way or another.

Yep Drogba was the last one to score that many over a season in general, let alone the league. That is how bad our strike force Actually he was I believe, Suarez wasn't actually on top but often drifted behind and on the LW occasionally too. However he is so good he still scores that many goals. has been, I mean 4 years without any strikers hitting over 20 goals in all competitions is unacceptable.
-
So many different ideas but we all believe he should at least be in double figure and some even suggests 30+ goals, aka best striker in the world form
-
That would be so bad, might as well keep Eto'o who had 12 goals last season and he is apparently God knows how many years old. Naaa I don't think he should get it, after 1 season if he hasn't been up to it, aka 20 goals min I think the club will look for a better ST next season when the fund is available again. Reus 30m release clause for example, maybe Benzema will be for sale.
-
That would be terrible considering Eto'o and even Torres scored around that this year each and they are absolutely crap and past it.
-
Also lets assume he doesn't take pens as I doubt Hazard would give it up, not unless he misses like 2 in a row early in the season or something. So no penalties in prediction.
-
Lets just say total to not make it too confusing. It is not like he will sit out CL,FA Cup...etc anyway.
-
Everyone should do a goal amount prediction for this guy, lets see in May next year who has been right. I will start by predicting 20 goals for us in this 1st season.
-
Well we signed him for like 9-10m euros, our own fault for paying so much for an injury prone player, same with Moses. Don't worry though, it is not like we need money, anything is bonus and getting him+his wages off the book is good for the club.

Madrid and Barcelona got 2 of the best squads in the world on paper, followed by Bayern then City, PSG and us for me. However it isn't always the strongest team that win or go far but rather the most hard working, disciplined and often talented(not super stars) get far such as Inter, Dortmund, Atletico, Lyon and Schalke showed in the last 5-6 years in the CL. At the start no one believed they will get far but they do anyway, and by having talented players with great managers instead full of super stars. So the manager and the tactic is just as important as the quality of players. For example we should get beaten on nearly every single position on the pitch if played against those big 3, but in reality we are likely to lose by 1-2 goal difference max, maybe even draw or win by narrow margin too.
-
Oh right yh I always thought there was a myth going around generally that Fab always been shit in the 2nd half of the season to the end. Looking at his Barca stats I was worried until you pointed out that at Arsenal he seemed to perform at least a bit decent in the 2nd half and just had lot of injuries. Yh I don't think it is a coincidence that their club had best players out for lon period of time for every single season now. From OX, Walcott, RVP, Fabregas, Wilshere, Ramsey, Vermaelen...etc cannot be just bad luck. I just hope Fab doesn't carry his Barca form to us ,especially since he has strangely been doing it for 3 years now.
-
Well it helped Bayern to walk their league last season, Barca also done it in 12-13 and 08-09 too. They are capable of walking it with this team, maybe they won't but the potential is there.
-
Yeah but they won't. Remember there is still the likes of Alonso...etc not in that line up.
-
They don't need balance until they play a top top team in Europe like I said. It doesn't matter if occasionally you concede 2 anyway, that team is capable of scoring 4 on avarage in the BBVA. Bar an extraordinary effort from Atletico or Barcelona incredible resurgence they are pretty much odd on to walk the league. In CL though is a different story, they will definitely get to around semi min where they will meet teams like us and we might just be able to scrape past them by the odd goal and well disciplined performance.
-
Pretty much a done deal now, trained with Spurs. Good deal they got there, potentially better than Shaw at least for the price anyway.
-
Think they expect to attack pretty much any team apart from some top teams in Europe like Barcelona and Bayern, actually 2 of the best teams in the world lol. They are atm technically the best team in the world themselves so I don't think they care about defending, the plan is probably you score 2 we score 6. They won't get found out until maybe semi of CL where they might play a discipline team like Atletico(if they made it again) or some team like us who are extremely discipline and defend well. They will steam roll the likes of City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Dortmund, Juve...etc though if met as those teams don't or can't defend as well as us, Atletico.

Not mention Diego Lopez, Navas for like nearly 20m together, Ramos 30m, Pepe 30m, Carvajal 10m, Alonso 30m, Kroos 20m, Modric 30m, Khedira 15m, Irallamendi 30-40m, Di Maria 25m, Benzema 40m, Isco 30m, Varane 10m, Coentrao 30m,
