This one we are linked with him, Shelvey isn't. Also Mou history means nothing, age means nothing as long as he keeps banging in 20 goals per year, wages and fee pretty much paid for itself with his sponsorship.
-
Ronaldo will win the 3rd golden ball this year, so he is as it stands the best player in the world, the rest is opinion.
-
Technically he is up there with David Luiz as the best in the world atm, seen his free kicks and pens? Still top 5 CB in the world now
-
Di Maria was the heart of Real Madrid last season, how can you say his influence wasn't that big LOL. James is playing OK, but nowhere near Di Maria yet and Real is suffering for it. Also I don't mean the mistakes are to sell them and replace with worse players but different players that don't suit Real's team. For example Kroos is not as good as Xabi in a holding role, likewise James is not as fit as Di Maria and clearly can't track back as much as the Argentine. For example if Real signed lets say Matic to replace Alonso and Hazard/Reus to replace Di Maria then I can't criticize them because those would have been able to do just as good/better jobs than the departed players.
-
So does Iniesta and Xavi but they got that from leading their team to CL titles, league titles, WC/Euros...etc. Hazard hasn't done any of them so he won't be considered a great or recognize without the stats to back him up. No one say he can't become a legend. Btw the players of his quality like Reus, Ribery, Robben, Mueller...etc all got around double figures for goals and/or assists every season, so really now that has to be the minimum for him to be compared to them. People won't remember him for dribbling past 4 players then shot at the GK, they will talk about his through ball like Di Maria gave 1 to RVP today or that goal he scores which win us the game against a top team.
-
Selling Di Maria for James, selling Alonso for Kroos, selling Morata then sign Chicharito when the former could have done the better job. Basically breaking up one of the best Madrid 11 in recent time for shiny shirt selling new names.
-
Would be funny if all this talk of resting Hazard, Costa...etc and Schalke is 2-0 up by half time. We will then send them on and suddenly make ourselves working harder than we should. This is CL people, please keep that in mind. This Schalke starting 11 will have the likes of Boateng, Draxler, Max Meyer, Huntelaar, Howedes...etc
-
Who does he reminds us of...not a shit bench player, not a super star regular starter. Someone who will do the job, better Kalou for now? although he got the potential to become a regular though, just need to be more decisive, clinical because he got physical attributes(pace, skill, work rate, shot...etc) Basically he is someone who does his job well, just need to step up to a next level aka Reus level to become a regular for us.
-
I know he will, in fact we will play the exact same team as against Everton like we should. Oscar if he plays in this one will be a passage or won't contribute enough at the attacking end because we will be spending a lot of time in our own half, when we go forward we will go extremely fast like last season. Oscar just can't do it, he hasn't got that pace.
-
Back in the team against Man City is a must, should play against Schalke to gain some fitness/form.
-
For a skinny guy he is fit as hell, also never get injured(more like he will injure other players with dangerous tackles). He is a manager's dream, limited technically but hard work and quick, will run ALL MATCH and that is why he WILL start next week against Man City, because we need his energy over Oscar.
-
Summed up his career so far...LOL Just when 'that fresh start' about to happen, that suspension/injury...etc kicks in again. No doubt now when he is back and play poorly for the 1st month people will start to go it is because of his recent injury.
-
I don't know, he said on numerous occasions it is his dream to play for Madrid and a move there would be hard to resist. If he does a Bale this season I think Real will go for him to replace CR7, maybe even offer 100m which we just have to accept if he wants to go. Yep and we did well against Atletico didn't we...Real Madrid regressed this year because their president is an idiot and Atletico is the strongest defensive team in the world. The fee is 60m but rumors is that he wants around 500k per week.
-
Which means Real Madrid will go for Hazard or Reus. If it is Hazard=>we are double fucked. Lost best player and MU get best player in the world.
-
Gonna win his 3rd golden ball this year so...
-
We are probably gonna play much more like last season away so best he will get is 1 goal if he takes his chance. Maybe 2 if we are 1 up and at the end they go all out attack, which leaves spaces for us to go counter.
-
Chance as 99% of the world won't if this is true it won't be long until someone get pay £1m per week especially with most teams having huge money to spend and top class players are limited now.
-
Cristiano Ronaldo wants £500,000-a-week to join Man United or Chelsea next summer
-
No point playing Cech anymore if it is simply to keep him happy considering he now knows he won't be no1 no matter what so he will likely want to leave in Jan/next summer. Also I don't get about resting players, Schalke just got raped but last year we also played Basel and lost. Never underestimate teams in CL, if we are 2-0 up by half time then start resting Costa, Fabregas...etc.
-
Like I said, I am only judging him based on his few matches this season, if it was based on last season he should have been sold for Di Maria or Sanchez. Also as I stated, if his performances so far is considered very good then we are in serious trouble because our att mid should either provide assists or score goals consistently. No one is saying he is poor so far, but just rather underwhelming for a player of his quality. No, they are both not good enough now. Someone like Di Maria, Sanchez, Sterling, David Silva.
-
Just wait a few weeks for us to get a couple of bad results and people will start to lower expectations to 2nd/3rd place finish again... Atm we are living up to our potential, bold expectations now would be consisting of winning the double/treble, breaking points/goals,,,etc records as people have said. Doing a league/CL double... But realistic expectation is now winning the league, possibly walking it as the likes of MU, City, Liverpool and Arsenal all show they are having problems atm. It is not good enough to be throwing it away from here now unless City decide to go on a 20 games winning streak.
-
If this is as good as he can get or close to he can get then I am afraid he just isn't good enough anymore. Bring decent/good as one of the main CAM in this great team isn't enough, needs to be world class level, top 10 or around there at least. That is why many people are still wanting us(including me) to go for the likes of Reus, who will make our great attack pretty much reaching perfection. After all there was nothing wrong with Mikel as the CDM, but Matic is just another level and it is showing now. Same with Oscar, if we got someone more clinical like Reus we would make so much more use of our chances and score even more goals. If Oscar can find his early 12/13 and early 13/14 form then he is good enough for us, however as it stands I am afraid he most likely will have to go next summer if we go for Reus.
-
Shit team just lost 4-1, we should be steamrolling these with our current team, expecting a 2/3-0 victory from us again.
-
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL From the likes of Khedira as back up to Shelvey...
-
He is not really playing well, maybe OK is a more suitable word. For example if we compare his form now to the last 2 years he would already scored a few by now. Also it says it all when the best part of his game atm is helping out defence when he should be contributing at other end as our main CAM I don't know, he just seems to really lack match fitness/form atm
