Nope I really like him as our manager and want him to stay as long as possible if we continue to win trophies every season. However I just don't like his tactic used today, a year ago it would have been acceptable because we could say we had Torres who would miss a 1 on 1 easily and try to get a point. Today however we were up AGAINST 10 men and a goal up but he still wanted us to play that same tactic. I really don't understand why.

Also the Lampard contract issue is a delicate situation. Lets say we offered him 50k per week to stay for 1 more year, but New york offered 100k for 2 years. Why on Earth would he turns them down and stay? Being a legend is all and earn you love from your fans but this is a job and he is into the last 3 years of his career, he need to make as much as possible to set him up for life. Will fans love pay him those 50k per week difference in the future?

For us? the best manager in our history. In Europe? Certainly top 5, but that is only because I started watching football for around 10-15 years ago. So all the Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, MU greats...etc I never seen to judge. I don't just want to go on Wiki and see the stats for who won the most trophies and judge. At the moment? Top 10 in Europe certainly and will be the best if we win the CL this season. For me he is among the likes of Ancelotti, Sir Alex, Klopp, Simeone...etc as modern day great managers. Not Wenger and LVG anymore but 10-15 years ago Arsenal were a top team and in those days Wenger and LVG were up there with the very best.

It is natural really, the way forums work. Also because posting something controversial is more engaging for most people than just simple praises. For example lets say someone post ''Mourinho is a world class manager, he will lead us to great glory!''. What do you expect people to say? Erm ''OK you are right, I agree!!!!'' However if we discuss general issues such as for example his negative tactics today, people can come in and argue about it, thereby creating a debate. But it seems it is either for or against. You either support him or you are a Pep supporter. There is no middle line. Same with people saying we should either do all out attack Arsenal and lose 6-0 or ultra bus parking and draw 0-0. There is no middle ground such as good defending and occasionally going forward like last season.
-
Because hiding behind the keyboard is easy to say anything. Wait until we play them at Stamford Bridge and someone on here come out holding the banner Judas Lampard, they will probably be kicked out of the stadium or start a fight among the fans. Also it is just in the heat of the moment, give it a few days and most people who said it will calm down and feel apologetic inside. It is the same with people talking shit about Drogba for his terrible peformance(me included) against Schalke, now looking back it doesn't really matter anymore as we still have 5 games to make it right. In theory the result today was a good one for us considering all the other top teams bar Arsenal lost.
-
Nope doesn't bother me any bit as you can see I carried on talking to him here. What I mean he is constantly using that language as soon as he doesn't agree with me on any point. I just want to know if there is a line or a limit for it because if I start doing it back then the whole thing won't be pretty for anyone.
-
As you should...it is one thing to post stuffs you don't agree about and the other to go and tell people to die or being a wasted space on Earth.
-
Actually I reported him twice earlier, he told me to go die and wasting oxygen or something along those lines in the match thread. He just continued it here.
-
Considering you have been reported at least twice for giving out personal insults, I am surprised you are still going after getting a warning.
-
Yes I am not disappointed with the result but the manner of it.
-
And we drew against a shit Schalke team that were in like 18th place in their league. No team can win 4-0 every single game, no team.
-
Funny because Lampard might have scored that 2nd goal and it would have been unspeakable...
-
Yep it is just all out attack against all out defence isn't it...No middle ground at all. For the last time I am not asking for us to go Arsenal and get wasted 6-0, I just want us to show our authority like we did last season and occasionally attempt to commit an attack. There were none of that today until they were down to 10 men and even after we scored we continued that tactic, which is unacceptable. Barcelona
-
Spending over 100m on attacking players, play a game as if a non league side would do is embarrassing.
-
Or maybe Jose just decides to play it safe and park the bus even against 10 men and going 1 up City winning the league will most likely results in Jose getting the sack considering the shambolic quality of other top teams in the league and where we are.
-
Yep this is much different from bus parking how? No one is requesting Jose to go all out, yep we had 2 chances after they were down to 10 men. Like I said a few pages back, the worst thing about this is that it has been PREDICTABLE. If they had 11 men I bet we would be happy with 0-0 draw like at MU last season.
-
If you are a die hard Mou fan at least try to hide it mate. Happy? hHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA if Mark Huges was our manager he could do this. Why can't he repeat what he set us up to do last year? Why does it got to be all out bus parking? Or you could do a Bayern and win 7-0, which Real Madrid were clearly capable as they shown when they fucked Bayern themselves last season.
-
Maybe Demba Ba was right about Mourinho favorism
-
And now all the fans defending him are nowhere to be found...a point was always the aim right?
-
Any hope of that 'change in style' will never happen under this man. Even he got CR7, which he did he always did this when playing against Barcelona. I am so pissed off today, not because of Frank but more because of this fucking disgusting tactic used. The worst thing is it has been predictable. Fucking predictable, even Rafa can do this. That Schurrle goal means fuck all, in 12-13 we also had a pen and lost because of the same tactic.
-
He didn't
-
FUCKING BUS PARKING AGAINST 10 FUCKING MEN, THiS IS SO FUCKED UP. OMG Lampard
-
Filipe Luis to come on in the 75th min and make this a plane parking.
-
schurrle for Willian and Mikel for Ramires I think
-
Play like this and concede a late winner from City. FFS
