Analyzing The 3 Goals Conceded At Goodison
MrBlueGuy replied to CHOULO19's topic in Chelsea Articles
As good as your analysis is, it is probably pointless imo. One of those game that happen once/twice per season, just never gonna happen again. Obviously if we played Bayern we would have parked it so hard the 1st 2 goals wouldn't have happened but we were 2 goals in front so concentration level dropped. I am sure Jose will tell the team that and analyses like you, but the main point he makes is that we didn't do much wrong and it was a freak of a game. For example the Naysmith goal, we just scored so we were in relax mode, no one expected Everton to go all out attack straight away as they did from kick off. The Eto'o goal again probably nothing could have been done about, it was a good technique, guiding it to the corner and Courtois probably didn't expect it. Next time we play Swansea I believe these things won't happen, we will go back to be like against Leicester. -
He is not Torres 2.0, he is still top 3 strikers in the world.
-
RVP having knee operation apparently, the reason why MU are interested in Falcao in 1st place
-
Apparently some are pissed that MU signed him and selling Welbeck, damaging the club 'identity'    :D :D Hahahahaha as if they are always exemplar or some holy English club
-
More chance of signing Shrek
-
Naaa we don't, he will likely want to leave and the clubs like Sunderland offering that amount we will accept.
-
Well the club is clearly going to let him out on loan and once you are loaned you don't really get back into Chelsea squad unless you had a blinder of a season, even then it is most likely not enough as there are always other available who will likely be better than you on the market for a good fee(Courtois is the exception). The problem is that he clearly WON'T be given that chance you are talking about to prove himself, it applies to our club.
-
It is all good just hope we don't get obsessed over it and eventually decide to only sign cheap potential players like Arsenal and MU until this summer or what Liverpool is doing. What makes this club so strong is that Roman doesn't care about profit and always invest whatever is needed or we got from transfer into other top transfers. I mean look at Liverpool can't afford the likes of Sanchez and Fabregas most likely because of their wages, I hope it won't happen to us. For example I fully expect us to go in for Marco Reus next summer if he is available for transfer unless Oscar has an absolute blinder of a season,
-
Can you imagine him getting injured next week for Spain? we would be so fucked, would have to rely on... Remy instead
-
Wasted of money as it stands, he will do well to be any where near Kalou I guess. Then there is the issue of we can easily go out for Reus next summer for 30m, ah well can always sell to someone like Sunderland for 5-6m and a small loss I guess.
-
Checked wiki and Sturridge also scored 15 in 55 for us all on the wing, not saying Welbeck is a better striker but clearly you can't judge him by his goal scoring record considering his circumstance really.
-
Would be funny if Welbeck end up doing a Sturridge and scores 20 goals for them, MU will be mad even if Falcao does the same, albeit on 200k more per week and with 30-40m fee more.
-
2 goals in 12/13 or is this 1?
-
OK even for me that is too much, Cavani it is next summer then.
-
Google translate at its best :getin: :getin: Also LOL IS THIS REAL FROM TORRES? If it is the last part makes me feel shiver down to my spines LOL, just hearing him write that makes me want to to die as I hope no one ever mention him in anyway with Chelsea again.

I don't know, their 'sensible' transfer policy under Fergie left them with the likes of Jones, Smalling, Young, Nani, Anderson, Bebe, Kagawa, Zaha...etc. Sure they have a few success like RVP but the majority of their deals in his last 5 years has been terrible. Partly the reason why they are in disarray atm actually. Also Fergie did have absolute control, he was virtually the King of their club and everything goes through him. I doubt the club would have missed out on Lucas, Hazard if he didn't deem them to be too expensive. Of course this would have never happened under his watch, he is an old thinking manager who don't believe in spending huge shocking amount of money, he is happy for the Glazer to bleed MU dry.
-
Exactly, yeah maybe if they are both fully fit in their prime Falcao is probably better but would he really be better in our team and after that knee injury? Who knows... you don't win titles/games by using names or otherwise Madrid would have dominated every single match in football as their 11 is essentially nearly world 11. Costa is great with us and that is the main thing, he is also suited to our style.
-
Was one of the best midfield in Europe before moving to Monaco, but naaa it is alright he is not Vidal so no need to be worry
-
MU possibly bidding 15m for Moutinho according to new rumors last hour, if they get him and Falcao that would be so fucked up. Suddenly their squad is one of the best in BPL again with 3 top 10 strikers in the world in their squad along with a top 5 winger. Please please hope this is not true.
-
Falcao apparently gonna join MU permanently for 65m, but 1st year is a loan due to FFP according to Jorge Mendes.
-
As much as he is shit and we hate him, however in some miracle circumstance he bangs in 25 goals for them this season, what would you all think? I wouldn't regret it because we got Costa and he is never gonna do that here, maybe the Italian league suit him more.
-
Watched from the bench as Pepe and Ramos messed up the game for Madrid. Really think if this happens frequently this season he might hand in a transfer request next summer and we could be one of his destination.
-
Scored in pretty much every game since coming back, I doubt he will score any less than 20 goals
