Atsu for example in a year or 2 will be min 10m imo, Hazard probably another 5m at least and bit and pieces actually make us a lot of money overall as long as we keep on spending reasonably( not 60m Di Maria, 20m loan Falcao with 40m more to pay later, Cavani 60m...etc). But more a long the line of Fab 30m, Sanchez 30m, Costa 32m, Benatia 25m...etc

Even without anyone leaving imo every summer still have 50m or so anyway from revenue, sometime maybe even more depending on which competition we won. Also who to say with new signings come on in the players in the squad won't leave? For example lets say we sign Reus for 30m next summer and sell Salah for 5-10m or Schurrle for 20m, we are not really spending that much money on players. The days of us just splash out 50m on a new striker without selling anyone is over imo, maybe one last time next summer if Costa prove he isn't up to it fitness wise/form wise this season but from then on it will be much more like this summer, only new players coming in if we ship out our own.

Who are we to say? obviously Costa confidence is infinitely more than Torres so I doubt we will see scenes like when Torres got bullied by Rio last year. The thing is yeah he might not be in decline terminally but gradually. You won't see him making daring/long runs anymore in fear of hurting it again, after a while it just become a thing. At that point we better off having a striker who is on top of their game to lead the line, that is what I am worrying about.

Pointless to argue about them, wait until the end of this season and we can see who is better. Chalobah either will make a name for himself in BPL or MVK becomes one of the best CDM in Milan. Well best English players in the England squad, how many will make it into the Chelsea squad, lets look at them compared to our squad now: Hart-LOL Johnson-Past it about 3 years now, even Liverpool fans want him out Jagielka-Raped by Costa last week Baines-Fair enough but already got someone as good in Dave and Filipe, maybe even better and much younger Wilshere-LOL him vs Fab or Matic? SuperMonkey is right, nowadays football is so competitive even you are extremely successful you still have to make moves to improve the team EVERY SINGLE BIG WINDOW. For example Khedira next summer means we sell Mikel then so be it, Varane is available then no matter how good of a season Terry will have it is a must.

Yeah logically replacing Salah with him look realistic. Yes he is up there with Hazard, probably even better judging by his stats. But if I start to compare him with the likes of Oscar and Willian others will come in and say you will always want something better, spoiled...blah blah blah.
