You'd think he had never played football up front before with some of the things he does. He actually looks completely clueless. I get angry when i see what he did for Liverpool and Spain around 2007-2008 ish. Dismal.
-
Well, fact is.... he wont come anyway nor will AVB get sacked before the end of next season.
-
lol seems everyone shut up when Barca whipped Valencia 5-1. Messi scored 4, his 4th was brilliant. He's just too good, scarily good.
-
We've been shitter than shit's own shit but Wembley beckons if we can beat 2 championship teams.
-
Gold through the kit hmmm please no. Experimenting is for the away kits.
-
He's said a million times that his favourite time was in England and he will come back to England. In a football world of Secrets, this aint one of em.
-
So the stripes on the sleeves are Gold/Yellow and then the same on the shorts i guess. Sounds interesting. Everyone can now make mock ups of a plain blue shirt with yellow or gold stripes
-
And he was 5th choice in a very shit Liverpool midfield. Says a lot. I like him as footballer but he's simply a squad player and shouldn't be starting more than 50% of matches.
-
So instead of hearing it now, it shoulda said before the game that Cahill is a doubt through illness to stop any vicious rumours surfacing.
-
I tried it in 1998 when Laudrup left, tough job. Failed.

Height doesn't mean power. Peter Crouch is 9 ft 6 and he's got as much muscle as my drain pipe.

It's a fact that we don't dominate games as we used to. Our style and type of player has changed.

How can Chelsea claim to be rebuilding...

I'm sure he was being sarcastic lol chill. -
Surely we can do a best player in the prem thread instead of spam this gooner cunts one. But anyway... Giggs has to be the best unfortunately. He's still good now and where Lampard is 33 and struggling, Giggs still plays like he's 28. I'm not slating Lampard, i'm just saying that Giggs is extraordinary. Lamps is in the top 5 though i'd say. Giggs n Scholes have just done it for ever though. Still remember when they fucked us 4-1 at the bridge in 95/96 and those 2 destroyed us. That was 16 fucking years ago and they are still doing it. Those 2 are the 2 greatest premiership legends even if i hate to say it.

And no more signings like Drogba and Essien, they just haven't quite done it. We need proven premiership players who are guaranteed to be awesome like Torres and Meireles. As for the opening post, i agree a lot except it's not easy to just chuck out the old guard and replace em just like that. That team you put up looks nice but Di Maria is not the best winger in the world, i'd probably take Navas or Lavezzi over him because he's a dirty cheat and Hazard wants to go to Tottenham. Also, i would still not have Luiz over Cahill at CB. We'll have to see what the Chelsea team is in 2015 if u want a lot of change. City-esque. -
I've Noticed too how we get so over powered now, even Arsenal overpowered us which is the most embarrassing thing. Ramires, Mata, Mireles and Torres get bullied, Bos n Ash don't cope great either at the other end. When we had Lamps, Ballack and Essien together, we were the bullies and we simply run games.

I'm new and I'm Blue (From South Africa)

Welcome to TC, good you stuck with Chelsea even when Zola left. Enjoy your time here. -
Dealing with Liverpool has proved a disaster and we might have to change or team name to KKK United. Funny thing is, i'd very much like him here at Chelsea tbh, i think he's a class player even tho him missing a sitter against Stoke cost me 5k. I dunno.... probably rather unlikely.
-
Gonna answer the question instead of saying the same thing in the 5th thread. What will sacking AVB actually achieve? It will simply stop the AVB project and we'll get someone with different idea's who may have a different style of player and game style. I don't want it to happen but if it does, please get a manager who knows how to play with 2 up front like Ranieri did.

I'm pretty sure Cahill got man of the match against Everton away for Bolton and scored the winner in that game. Would've given him great confidence to play at the weekend psychologically. There was no sense at all in dropping him for this game.
-
He has as many league goals as Torres this season. Depressing. I just hope he don't keep coming back, he gave me nightmares in the early and mid 2000's, i don't want any more.
-
I'd be so happy if he succeeded here, watched him since he came to us and he's got every bit of talent needed to be a top player. Just needs the self belief, the confidence, the temperament and then to be trusted to then prove it. He's certainly given everything to try n force his way into our plans. Has lots of skill and can obviously use both feet judging by his right footed goal here. Keep persisting young man, you'll get there in the end.
-
Yep, all said n done, congrats to Zambia in the same place as the 1993 tragedy. This win is for those guys. Semia.... you said Drogba sometimes doesn't play well in big games did you not? I'm just saying that it's impossible to be great in every game and the best players in the world are the same. It's football.
-
Who isn't? Even Messi and Ronaldo are very absent in international matches and they are the 2 best players in the world. Look at Rooney in the 2010 world cup, he's Englands best player. Look at Lamps and Gerrard for England, look at Henry for France.... Come on mate, nobody plays well in every big tournament.
-
Dunno how this turned into a Drogba abuse thread. The whole team didn't play how they can in this final including Gervinho, Yaya Toure and Kalou. The best player today for them was Max Gradel when he came on for Kalou. They bottled it.... again.
