So do the other 2. They have no idea where they are it seems lol.

Oh yeah, never mentioned their constant theatrics. I would say typical Portuguese cheats but did they even have 1 Portuguese player? We had more than them lmao! Their diving and appealing and rolling around was absolutely shocking. The ref bought it a couple of times but had a decent game considering the noisy crowd.

Drogba will 100000% play. The only question is with Torres or alone? He should play Mata and Torres on the wings imo but then again Grant played Anelka on the wing in the CC final 2008 against them with Drogba up front and we were awful. Maybe just play a tried and trusted formula and change if needed.

It would be too sweet to be true. Some things really are too good to become a reality and that is one of them. But to see him lift the FA Cup in front of their fans .... we could be onto something there.

Come on, Kalou scored but wasn't involved in anything, i didn't even see him. He's supposed to be an attacking winger or something. Just because he scored i'm not gonna say he was good. I didn't see him attack their right back or anything a winger should do. But hey... he scored so he's a hero. I was a bit disappointed with Ramires in the 2nd half tho, he skinned their LB so many times, he got booked but then he didn't force him into any bad challenges that coulda seen him get sent off. He was absolutely electric in that first half tho, just lacks the quality ball sometimes (all the time). Anyway i don't want any Kalou debates, he used his strikers instincts today and was the match winner so well done to him. He is a striker after all anyway isn't he really? We got a great win and we should be ready now to have a great season finale!

He bumped his head and turned into a winger.

Very tough game, not because Villa are good because they aint but because we're always so fucking shit there. The positive thing is that we'll have a bit more freshness to the team because of the great win from the fringe players today. We might nick it, i mean we should win tbh especially what they did to us at the Bridge, we owe them bastards. i'd probably guess at a draw, tho.

Those 2 Semi's are great for Football. I'd rather get Everton in the final but i'd rather beat Liverpool in the final. Could be anyone in the final this year tho, i think Everton will beat Liverpool and i must admit i'd be pleased for David Moyes if Everton won the FA Cup despite being a Chelsea fan. We've had a great run in the FA Cup since 2007, well even 2006 we got to the Semi's. I'd absolutely love us to win it but if Everton win it, good luck to em.

I'm really shocked at Benfica. I knew we were favourites to go through but if we were really firing, we woulda won 3-0 and completely stone dead killed the tie already. Benfica at home in a UCL quarter final, absolutely awful blunt performance. Napoli woulda smashed this lot. I don't usually act over confident but this tie is as good as done, now i can see why Drogba reacted like he did if he indeed did do that on purpose. That was almost like watching Man Utd against Schalke last year, embarrassingly easy for such a big high pressured away leg. Robbie got the team right because Benfica were so poor, simple as that. I will give us credit tho because we were very good in spells but i don't think many teams at home would let us have such a comfortable ride. The goal was nice, Nando did brilliantly to give Kalou the chance, he was in the right place. He was by far our worst player in the whole game Kalou but he was there when it mattered. Luiz was just immense, the guy has been pure class in the last 2 months and he's who i'd give my MOTM. Also a special mention to Ferreira, not played for a while but was never troubled and looked Solid. Master stroke from Robbie putting the EX Porto lads in to stir it up a bit lol. And then Ferriera off, Bosingwa on, Porto for Porto. Apparently Meireles got involved with the fans too at H/T. Nothing like football rivalries. JT probably shoulda give away a pen with the hand ball but the Luiz's one was no chance. John's hand was out so it coulda easily been given but we thoroughly deserved the win regardless of anything else that happened in the game. Perfect scenario = Win the game whilst playing fringe players and giving all the main men a rest. What a perfect, PERFECT night. Barca round 20 (feels like it) here we come!

It seems like we're playing to hold on upto around 60 minutes then make some changes and go for the away goal later on. This first hour is gonna be horrible to watch, attack vs defence. Such a risky strategy. They aint even in great form, we could kill this tie tonight but anyway.... The idiots need to prove their worth.
-
What the fuck is that line up all about? Fuck me sideways i like Ferreira but when is the last time he even played and he's not exactly 25 anymore or quick. This is a UCL quarter final. Mikel? Meireles? KALOU!? Oh my fu... meh shit. Gutsy anyway, let's hope is somehow does a job.
-
Benfica are on a pretty dismal run aren't they. Probably got the right team at the right time. They did knock Liverpool out in 2006 tho, remember Miccoli and Simao scoring great goals at Anfield. I know it's not the same team but they have great European pedigree and a good history.

FA Youth Cup: Chelsea v Manchester United | 1st Leg
Ollie replied to Steve's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
It is a weird schedule, i checked it n though 'huh'. Burnley and Blackburn play both games close together while ours are like a month apart. They play both legs between both of ours. I think i'll go to the 2nd leg, i'm gonna book my week off work around that time anyway so might as well start with the Friday -
The intensity in 12:45pm games is nowhere near what it is in the 7:45pm games tho, i hate early kick offs, the players and the crowd are half a fucking sleep. We shoulda beat Tottenham away tho, we battered them there but missed so many chances. That was a late KO too.
-
Thiago Silva is out of both legs against Barca so that effectively fucks the tie because he's one of the best defenders around at present and we all know how Barca attack. Look what Arsenal done to Milan and that was with Silva there in just 1 half. For us, i think we're lucky to be playing away first and i'm glad all our defenders seem to be on the top of their games (except Bos of course). I'd take a draw for sure, can't wait now for the game.
-
We never win at Villa and we aint good enough to win at Arsenal. Oh and we never beat a Dalglish team either. Fulham is tricky, Newcastle at home is tricky, QPR and Blackburn will be fighting, Wigan just won at Anfield and will be fighting. There's not even a glimmer of hope. Tottenham need the mother of all fuck ups to happen to them.
-
And he's young, got plenty time for UCL i guess. I mean look at Liverpool's awesome signings, Adam, Henderson, Downing, and they aint in the UCL. You don't need to be in the UCL to get the best players.
-
Like with most things, there is a case to keep him and a case to get rid. But as Roman chose option B in the end, he clearly did it too late. It shoulda been after Wigan or Norwich.
-
"They'll be in the top 3 again this year" We were very good that day tho, just went badly, badly wrong.
-
after the first game of the season, Pulis' verdict on us. I think he got it wrong lol.
-
We can outbid but he'll want CL football. This season's been a mess.
-
Very good option. Great finisher and ex Manc, be great to get him.
-
Not just Lucio..... What the fuck actually happened to Inter? At least we weren't that bad when Jose left. Absolutely shocking and most of the players are still there. Never seen a club decline so much. They could go down next season if they aint careful. P.S Del Piero is a legend and he's still got it.
-
lol at all the ppl who have started voting now
-
I'd take him
