but that was the club’s only hint of a trophy, with the Gunners faced with the reality of now having gone 7 years without any silverware. Yeah or maybe just paste as plain text which i just realised i can do.... cheers lol
-
They still have em in kingston i'm sure, went there on weds and saw the UCL final shirts.
-
I also get a bit annoyed when i copy a text from something and it pastes exactly the same as it's original form. I don't want this...."but that was the club’s only hint of a trophy, with the Gunners faced with the reality of now having gone 7 years without any silverware." It's annoyingly now a different size and colour!

Pretty crazy this really Sloth, there are homeless people around because they are older, maybe have no family in the area, got some drug problem, got themselves in huge debt, maybe both parents are not alive any more or whatever but with you, you're 17 years old, have your parents there and you're actually choosing to be homeless which is silly even if you don't get on with them. If/When i have kids, no matter how much we might get involved in arguments or end up hating each other, i'd never let them go homeless because they are my blood just like your parents are your blood. Out of all the people in the world, the last people you should fall out with are your parents because they will do anything for you. You are only here because of them and they brought you up through childhood and into your later teen years. Family comes first, family is number 1 before all else, you better make up with your family and you better hurry up doing it because without your family, a job and a home, you're going nowhere fast mate. You're still a young lad, if you want to actually make something of your life, you know what to do. Forget personal feelings or pride, think about what's best for you for now and for the long run. The longer you leave it, the worse you will make it. Start over and make something out of your life.

Was a good game, i think lots of the players don't really like the celebrities playing with them it seems because it's almost like a battle the celebs take it too serious. Few injuries, especially poor Gordon Ramsay, got smashed by Sheringham and carried off on a stretcher. Serge's goal was exceptional, pure class. On another note... i'm pissed off that threat got locked, wanted to post in it

I think Torres' work rate and international experience gave him the nod but from him getting dropped in the last spain squad for Soldado then Soldado getting a hat-trick.... it's quite remarkable that Soldado isn't at least in the squad. Embarrassment of riches.

Bayern have won the UCL 4 times, Juve have won it twice. Bayern have 4 stars, Juve have 2... Weird if it's about what they've done domestically. EDIT: ok, you seem to be right... http://en.wikipedia....football_badge) This shows that we most definitely will wear it now on our kit.
-
I still feel a bit gutted that Ronaldo never won the UCL. Great picture.

Thankful we don't have spiders anywhere near that big here and none of our spiders are deadly. I hate spiders, really hate them but i don't kill them, i still like to try n let it go if poss. The hardest thing is catching the cunt. As for Eurovision i only watched the last half hour of voting, the political votes are quite awful really lol like it even really matters who wins? Most of the songs are just stupid anyway, you'll only win if u have a sexy woman or a few sexy women singing and dancing in a club like song. Sweden was always gonna win.

Glad i didn't get the shirt on release now due to all the uncertainty about the star. I spoke to a woman who works in the Kingston store and she said it's a commemorative shirt but Bayern Munich have worn their 4 stars over their badge and Juve have worn their 2 over their badge so i'm not sure now. I'll get the shirt after our first game of the season now because i really am confused.com. We're still selling both types.
-
Shocked i must say, Soldado has had a fantastic season, he and Torres shoulda gone. If i had to pick one, i'd had to pick Soldado but it's his choice. I hope Nando shines. He's just won the European cup, if this doesn't give him confidence...

Get Hazard and Hulk, simples. We do need both and we can afford em. Just bloody well do it!
-
I'm sure JT, Lamps, Cahill and Ash will have a few whispers in his ear.
-
Love his assist record lol, yep, defo a striker but doesn't mind playing anywhere unlike some who moan. I really think he will come anyway, it looks nailed on. Hope he can be here ready for the USA.
-
Football is clearly guilty until proven innocent.
-
Mata and Cahill were both nailed on to go to the emirates lol, you gotta love (or hate, like me) transfer rumours.
-
Very much agree with you but controversy aside, he's one of our greatest legends ever and i'll never forget what he's done for our club, he puts his body on the line and always slaps the badge because he loves the club more than anything. Carragher, Ferdinand, Terry = The end of an era. Same can be said about Lampard, Gerrard and Scholes too i guess although those 3 still have big parts to play at times where experience in the middle of the pitch is huge. I agree tho, our back 4 should be Ivanovic - Cahill - Luiz - Cole. Those 2 in the middle made their Chelsea careers last Saturday. If JT and Lamps carry on for another 2 years tho, i'm still happy because JT is still a great defender and he's still the captain. Everyone has bad games but he never had much pace anyway so he can play for a bit yet iif he chooses to.

Barca have won it a couple of times i think and Pep even cried when he won it last time so it means a lot to even them, they whipped Santos 4-0 and put out their strongest possible team. I'd worry about a skilful young Brazilian team against us with our slowish midfield duo if Lamps and Mikel but we could be strong enough physically. We'll need to obviously sign a couple of quality players and i really hope we win it. I'd rather win this than win the League or UCL next season because it's so rare to be in this tournament, it may never happen again, thbis is like the best of the best. To see JT, Ash, Cech and Lamps win the Super Cup and Club World Cup, it would be the Cherry on the icing of a wonderful cake. To me, this is massive. Just a shame it's in that period of the season where we are usually hopeless. It could also set us up for an unbelievable season. After coming 6th in the league, words can't describe how big it was winning that UCL trophy. It still feels mad how we managed to pull it off. Now lets finish the job in Japan. Wonder if anyone from here will go? It's a horrible journey so i can't see it lol.
-
QPR should let Barton go, Newcastle did and look how they've grown. Every team has done better after Barton left them lol. That's 12 games, he's bound to get sent off at least once too so it will probably end up being half a season. Belongs behind bars, psycho

You sure it's the quarter's not the Semi's? Usually it's the Semi's, i hope so anyway. More holiday i'll be needing to book off work but hey, long time to before then. Still got 7 months tho so i'm sure in that time this thread will get lost so i'll try n keep it alive when needs be!

Since we have now qualified for this for the first time, what are your thoughts? I know it's not exactly the biggest club competition in the world but it would be great to win it, it's the only thing left now and then we really can say we've won it all (except the Europa League of course but let's stay away from that!). It's the one thing not on Liverpool's CV too so it would be nice to tell them we won it if we of course go on to do so. I'd actually be pretty gutted if we don't go on to win it in truth. We're the best in Europe, we have the chance to be the best in the world. Lets take it! Anyway, the tournament is between December 6th - 16th, 2012, and it's between all the Champions of each continent's biggest club competitions. It will take place in Japan. The winners of the J-League will also join the tournament as the host City's representative. So far, UEFA is represented by Chelsea after beating Bayern Munich on penalties in the UCL Final. Monterray are representing CONCACAF after a 3-2 win over Santos Laguna on aggregate and Auckland City are representing OFC as they overcame AS Tefana of Tahiti by the aggregate score of 3-1. The rest haven't been decided yet. I'm looking forward to it. ---------------------------------------------------------

That star is only commemorative someone told me in the kingston store today so i don't think it will be on the kit.

A Peter Crouch Quote and he's right btw. Glad that was mentioned, i was thinking when the fuck was that? and ... Arkady? He liked arcade machines as a kid i bet. I hope Chelsea stays in the Abramovich hands forever, if it happens, we'll be the most successful club in England when i die hopefully. I think we're in awesome hands, just hope Arkady gives managers more of a chance unlike Daddy although tbh i don't think he's made many wrong choices in truth looking back on it.
