Fucking traffic again, as soon as i had a problem getting in i thought straight away 'Eden Hazard thread'.
-
so Samoa are above Tahiti in the rankings and Tahiti won 10-1? This seems an epic tourny.
-
That's what you get when Tottenham and Liverpool players get chosen. If you think England suck and are boring now, wait til you see us in the Euro's lmao you aint seen nothing yet. This tournament will be the lowest of the low, i'm scared to even watch it. Lucky it's the Euro's tho and not the world cup.
-
Yeah i was watching, was good to see the football your lads played. Better than watching our shit.
-
It's not like he was great yesterday but everything came through him. Coulda had a pen, put a great cross in for Pato and always looked dangerous. They seemed to lack the real striker tho yesterday. Bit like Hazard against us, most came through him but the big number 9 wasn't there.
-
Must be because of the new badge.
-
Everton copied Barca but its still nice, nike are kinda boring tho ain't they most of the time. Lilles kits are always disgusting, really horrible effort there lol.
-
That already happened in 2010 lol and Spain lost but not under Guardiola. I know ppl say they don't have a plan B but in all honestly, they did cut through us a lot of times and we were lucky to get through. All teams struggle against the bus parking, who wouldn't?
-
Well it has half of his players too lol, The Midfield is dominated by Barca and that's the area where they are so good. Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Busquets. And they will produce more. I think he's eyed this 'break' targetting Del Bosque leaving. Also internation football isn't day to day so he can still have spells out and get back into football slowly.
-
Makes Sense. He left Barca because he won everything and probably lost motivation. All he needs now is International honours and i think that makes perfect sense.

Welcome to TC, Enjoy knocking Tottenham out of the Europa League ha jokes, jokes. Inter kinda got fucked after winning the UCL in 2010 against Bayern, let's hope Chelsea don't follow the same path lol. Your season was SHOCKING!

YOU DERAILER! BAN HIM!! Shit, now i'm derailing this thread maybe huh? I dunno lol. The problem is when threads have like whole conversations going which have nothing about the thread. I don't think this place will ever get like CFCNet (I hope) but people need to realise that if they are going to go slightly off topic, go back on topic because we don't want to see 2 pages of shit in a row. Sometimes it gets OTT but it's not often in truth. We're just a group of members enjoying ourselves, not robots.

Hello everyone!Blue is the colour!

Welcome to TC, wow we have a lot of Indians here, didn't really know they were so into football. Bout time you qualified for a football world cup lol. -
Welcome, nice to see Chelsea attracts litterally the whole world. And people are reluctant to call us a big team. No we're not big, we're huge! Welcome to Talk Chelsea. I love the way Chile play football by the way, remember when Chile came to Wembley with Salas and Zamorano and raped us 2-0. South american football, even from the smaller countries is a joy and an honour to watch. Hope you enjoy yourself here.

Our City, Our Stadium, Our Trophy was what it translated into. Maybe just an error. -
Champions League Final 2012 - Chelsea 1 (4)-(3) 1 Bayern Munich

The win is all the sweeter because of the real home advantage they got http://famouscfc.com/2012/05/23/unser-stadt-unser-stadion-unser-pokal-their-town-their-stadium-chelseas-trophy-why-bayerns-home-game-was-ruined/ I know it's been mentioned but nobody appreciates the monumental achievement it was for us overcoming all the odds to win it when everything was stacked against us in so many occasions, none moreso than the final itself. From 2004-2011 we found a way to lose it, whether it was from a referee, our own lack of concentration, huge elements of misfortune and perhaps bottle in some key moments. In 2004, 2-0 up against Monaco, we shoulda saw the game out but when they scored a goal with their hand, we gave up, the 2nd half was awful. In 2005 we should've attacked Liverpool at home more like we did Bayern & Barca in the 2 previous rounds. In 2008 we shoulda scored when we were controlling the game, the Lampard shot against the bar in Extra time was a bad miss but all the elements were against us that day and in 2009 when Barca went down to 10 men, we shoulda killed it and Drogba had that chance to bury them but finished very poorly. Even in 2011, Drogba got the goal back at Old Trafford but we conceded just seconds later. We all know how we eventually got knocked out in the end of all those games but this year was different, we weren't going to lose and the luck came back, all in one season. Everyones quick to say we were lucky, like Andy Cole in an interview with ESPN and Craig Burley. Nobody mentions how unlucky we've been over the years but it just makes me laugh because it's such a stupid one way argument. Nobody mentions how lucky Man Utd and Liverpool were when they won it in previous years. Beyern battered Man Utd in 1999 and Juve battered them in the Semi and they talk about an amazing treble? Did Bergkamp not miss an Extra Time penalty in the FA Cup semi and did they not win the league by like a point on the last day? They should've won nothing that year. Liverpool were lucky in 05 and Man Utd were IMMENSELY lucky to beat us in 2008 so don't talk to me about luck. Who are the European Champions? Enough said, i've even got the T-Shirt Andy Cole Interview on ESPN: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=7999650 It's nice to win the UCL like we did and get the haters hating. But if your going to have an opinion, look at previous years too and then work it out. Our UCL win was out of 8 years of blood, sweat, heartache and injustice. We finally have it in our hands and we fucking well deserve it. -
Funny, was just on his Twitter and he said on 20th May.. Romelu Lukaku @R_Lukaku The most amazing day of my life. Thank you Chelsea Fans Thank you #CLWINNERS He didn't seem too pissed off there.
-
Roman, mate, Mr Owner, sir.... The transfer business has been very nice up to now, don't mess it up with these 2. Thanks. Can't see this happening at all but hey... stranger things have happened.
-
Torres was excellent, he looks really quick and sharp and easily coulda had a couple of goals. Mata was class too for his 20 or so minutes. Best player tho was Iniesta, the run for the goal was just genius, he is a genius. I know it was only 1 late goal to nil but they ooze class, fantastic to watch. They should win Euro 2012 at a canter in all honesty. This era of Spanish footballer is different class.
-
Hulk looks very dangerous but somehow Mexico are 2-0 up thanks to a fluke and an error giving a cheap pen away. He's a bit predictable tho, the right winger cutting inside a lot. Hope he can add a right foot to his game.
-
Probably the only think AVB did right was letting him break through and playing him often. Most of us including me thought he'd nail the CDM spot ahead of Mikel with how he was playing. Mikel's been fantastic tho since Feb. I hope Romeu continues to fight, it's gonna be hard tho, harder than last season. Good luck to him.

Wow reading through this shite wasted about 20 minutes, dinner is ready soon, handy.

I have Dutch Family, my Uncle has lived in Amsterdam for yearly 20 years now and he's married to a Dutch girl, they have a son together. They all came down for the UCL Final. His brother (another uncle obviously) also moved to Amsterdam at the same time, they went together but he's back now living up in Newcastle. That Pompey game you mention i believe i was at, was it when Bridge scored and gave it to the Pompey fans and Geremi scored a stunning volley. 3-0. Agree that Cardiff is a shit hole too lol. Anyway, stay on here mate, you'll like it here i'm sure.

Kelly is a RB, Richards can play Both, plus Richards is Hugely experienced and is 100x better than Martin fucking Kelly. I hope someone asks Roy about this... I wanna smash something, seriously.

Welcome to TC mate, hope you enjoy yourself here. I loved the Essien goal against Arsenal too as my hate for Arsenal is rather big but i remember that game more for Lampard hitting the post deep into stoppage time, gutting really but at least we avoided defeat. 18 year old dutch Chelsea fan from Cardiff... sounds interesting lol. Enjoy!
