  1. Will there even be a stream? I doubt it. There are lots of games with something on it, i doubt anyone will show us.
  2. Ok so what do you expect today? I know what i want to happen but it's gonna be very far from what will happen unfortunately. 1) I want Man City to fuck up just because it will be hilarious. I prefer City to win it in general but honestly if they don't win, i will laugh like i've never laughed before. Man City will 100% win the game tho today. I'd put all my money and my savings on it if i had the bottle. 2) I want Arsenal to lose and come 5th. I want Yids and Geordie boys both to win and get Arsenal crying, it would be great. In an ideal scenario i'd like to see Arsenal come 4th and us win the Champions League but there's obviously no guarantee that we'll win next saturday so lets just get em out now. If they got 5th today, some of my own personal Munich pressure will be lifted somewhat. Arsenal and Tottenham will win tho therefore Arsenal will come 3rd :-( 3) I want QPR down because to be honest in this year they've been back, they've been annoying. For all they have spent and the players they've gone and brought in, especially Zamora and Hughes who left Fulham for a club with more money and ambition, just  if they go down now. That would be hilarious. Really need Bolton to win, i quite like Bolton too so come on you trotters! I think Q.P.Ha going down is probably too good to be true tho and Bolton will fail to beat Stoke at the Brittania. Good bye Bolton. Hopefully we put on a good display for our fans today and unleash some youngsters. Another Torres hat-trick will be nice and a good performance from Danny is mega needed. Hope Hutch and Piazon get some game time too. Looking forward to our game for some reason but will keep tabs on the City game and Bolton.
  3. That will seem a bit weird. The 11th minute comes, everybody applauds the legend whilst chanting his name and the TV screen says "Thank you Didier" and he realises what's going on and says, "WTF, am i leaving?" I think this is not a good thing to do until it is 100% confirmed that he is going. He may be 34 but he's still the best lone striker in the business. Should carry on until Lukaku is ready. We can't continue lumping high balls to Torres. If he goes, we need a complete change of style unless we sign someone like Llorente to replace him for a few years until Romelu develops.
  4. For Kalou to do what he did after JT missed in Moscow, the biggest pressure kick he will ever take in his life, to just casually stroke the ball into the top corner putting EVDS the wrong way deserves a lot of credit imo. I have seen his last few pens, they have all gone the same way and if he keeps putting it there, the keeper wont save many there. He's a good penalty taker for sure. I've never questioned Kalou's commitment or confidence but in a UCL final, i would simply be worried that he's not good enough in the position he plays, he's certainly not a winger. He could probably do a relatively decent job behind the front man but taking on LB's or RB's simply doesn't work for him. I don't remember him ever doing a mazy dribble past 2 or 3 defenders down the wing. Duff and Robben were wingers, what we have now ain't and are still being used out of position quite horribly. I think we went from 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 to kind of narrow it a bit so these guys aren't too far out wide and lost and altho i think its worked pretty well, i like to see more quality players in the 3 behind the striker. Lampard and Mikel works as a slightly deeper duo, that's fine. Torres... still not looking like he's gonna score 20 a season but still shows wonderful technique with a football, can dribble, runs back a lot and generally does come deep. The Fernando Torres of today imo is perfect as a second striker or a man in the free role. Him and Mata somewhere behind Drogba would be devastating imo, just a shame it can't be used or isn't being used as much. Against that Munich defence that could be put out against us, that would inevitably cause a lot of problems. For the UCL Final we could even go as far as using this. Not a 4-2-3-1 but a 4-3-2-1. We don't have wingers, whatever anyone says we DO NOT have a proper genuine winger at the club. This is a possible option. It may look like Essien is out wide but he's not, it's a bit like how he played with Lamps and Maka in 2006 which dominated many teams. The 3 will be narrow, we may get done out wide but i think there's more chance of causing their makeshift defence a few problems. The worry is defending 'Robbery' if we are focussing more on the middle but in a 4-2-3-1 there's actually less chance as in a 4-3-2-1 there can be more defensive power with 7 back and then 3 brilliant players going forward. A 3 of Drogba, Mata and Torres can be just as deadly on paper, maybe even more deadly that their front 3. Worth a shot? Drogba Mata - Torres Lampard - Mikel - Essien
  5. A loss is a loss granted but 5-2, in a final, with their best team? wow.... we can all debate if this will be bad for us or not but i think it can only be good for us surely. If Bayern won 5-2 we'd all be laying bricks in the toilet but now they've lost and in style, their heads will have gone down slightly and ours lifted big time. This is a fantastic result for us. It doesn't mean we will win the final but it certainly gives us more confidence and therefore imo more chance. They have no chance to bounce back and get themselves in top form for the final now, the final will be on the back of a hammering in a cup final. Love it. Dortmund have always been my favourite team in Germany, have an old shirt of theirs too from '97 ish. Dortmund now beat Bayern 3 times this season.
  6. Like there's a better option. Ok no fuck it, lets play Kalou and Malouda, then we'll surely win the UCL ....
  7. He's played almost his whole season out wide really. But those 3 could play anywhere as i said, they can interchange. Switch Torres for Mata then. Torres always drifts over there anyway. Drogba Sturridge - Mata - Torres Lampard - Mikel Drogba is a striker, Torres is a striker, Sturridge is a striker, Kalou is a striker, Mata is an attacking midfielder. 2 ppl will be out of position no matter what.
  8. Looks like pyjamas. Green is so traditional for GK kits but i wasn't expecting everyone to go back to em.
  9. Torres has to play imo, i don't know where but somewhere. Maybe even just play Danny, Torres and Drogba and hope for a good day. Drogba Sturridge - Torres - Mata Lampard - Mikel the 3 behind Drogba can interchange as they all know how to play in the middle or out wide. This could cause Bayern problems if they switch n change. Sturridge is in bad form and Torres & Drogs rarely start together but i think it's an option. I would still never start Kalou. Never.
  10. Our wings are fucked, we have to play through the middle because we simply have no wingers. Worrying that this is only a week away, this could go horribly wrong. Luiz and Cahill STILL are not fit, Malouda and Kalou are geniune options, Essien is a cripple so wouldn't trust him. I couldn't name a starting XI that i could be happy with. We're in trouble.
  11. I reckon Capello will take over, it just seems obvious to me for some reason. I would be happy too. I want Robbie to stay of course but Fab is my preferred option if he does leave.
  12. The new kit will not be worn in the UCL Final obviously.i think we've discovered that after seeing http://www.chelseamegastore.com/stores/chelsea/products/product_browse.aspx?category|category_root|3507=promotions&category|cat_3507|28766=ucl+2012+final+range Anyway i'm still yet to get the new shirt, i will get it soon tho.
  13. At sports direct they had FA Cup final shirts like this which i thought was absolutely appalling. They must really do their homework. I'd definitely wait until after the game to get one of the UCL ones. If you get if from an actual Chelsea shop or the megastore, it will be right however but surely you wouldn't want to get this and then lose. It's only worth getting after a win.
  14. I'm not gonna make this long even tho i really could. The trio of Lampard, Terry and Drogba are leagues ahead of any Chelsea players for me but my favourite player of all time is the Brazilian Ronaldo. Also liked Batistuta a lot.
  15. Welcome to TC. Thought argies would probably like Inter or Napoli or something lol but enjoy your time here. Shame Veron Failed here n Crespo wanted to go back to Italy.
  16. That's a bit of a shock that we're not using that one in Munich. If we win, i may get it. Actually nah... i'll get one of those t-shirts instead. At least i can buy the new shirt now without worry In fact. IF we win it, i'll buy the t-shirt, scarf, ball, fucking everything!
  17. Wont happen, he's a Championship level RB imo. We need to target premiership success and UCL, we aint Liverpool.
  18. We need to raid Bilbao, seriously. Their youngsters may have been taught a clinical lesson today but their youngsters are wonderful to watch. Experience won today but Bilbao played some really nice football.
  19. Finished 1-0 but 4-1 to us on agg. Was a crap game in truth, knowing you are 4-0 up just makes the 2nd leg too easy.
  20. Courtois is too good to be a number 2. Maybe we should just cash in without him even playing for us lol (joke). Petr Cech will be our number 1 for like the next 5 years at least. Courtois was excellent from what i saw of the EL Final. Unless we take a gamble like Mancini did when it was Joe Hart vs Shay Given. Such a hard call to make because Cech aint even 30 yet (turns 30 the day after the UCL Final). Cech has been back to his fantastic best in the big games this season. Maybe loan Courtois to the prem for the next couple of years and then bring him in. He's a great GK.
  21. I already posted a link. Performance has been subdued, it seems we can easily break through if we play the right ball but the tempo just aint there but i reckon we'll sort it out in the 2nd half and we'll see the real Chelsea. The attacking has been non existent until like the last 10 mins. Piazon is the one bright spark. Looks the bizo.
  22. it's always nice to win a trophy no matter what the circumstances are. We can't even win half our premiership games this season which is one hell of a shocking season but to get to the UCL final and win the FA Cup no matter what happens now is a really good achievement. If we win the UCL, nodody will even care about the league season but if we lose, we'll talk about how shit the season is. We have won a trophy at the end of the day, Man Utd and Arsenal and Tottenham aint gonna win fuck all. Also, Man Utd, Man City, Tottenham and Liverpool have all played in the Europa League. If it happens, it happens. Life and CFC goes on.
  23. Yeah that was weird, they showed our semi 1st leg but that's it. I know why i reckon.... They wanted to see Fergies next group of amazing young talent destroy Chelsea at the amazing theatre of dreams and they wanted everyone watch it happen. Fail. Lets repeat 2010 by winning both FA Cups. Maybe this year we may even add the women to that list. Now that's epic. Looking forward to this game actually, stream http://www.firstrowsports.eu/watch/81471/1/watch-chelsea-tv.html Mon the Blues. Thrash them!
