Jim is always great and runs this site awesomely every year as well as posts and fights off spammers, viruses and hackers which takes some doing. This, however is staff member of the year, not best staff member full stop and i think Steve has been the best staff member in the last 12 months. Jim is just doing what he enjoys and what he's great at, i'm sure he'll just see it as doing his job but we all hugely appreciate the work he does even if it doesn't stand out so much day to day. The fact is that this is the best Chelsea site on the net thanks especially to Jim and all the great staff and members here who all have a big part to play. Jim has made some nice changes to the forum and he will continue to defy the odds and make it even better than it is already throughout the next years. This place is in very good hands, the best and long may it continue. Now we just need to see "Talk Chelsea, The Unofficial home of the European Champions" to complete our journey as a forum together.

If we win we should have a TC Meet up at the parade, hungover or not. I WILL BE THERE -
Ok why am i crying, please wtf has that video just done to me, not cool, glad i'm here on my own. We cannot fuck it up now... shit. I actually like the idea of recording yourself to a match like this to show what we go through. He chose the right game for sure.

Champions League Final 2012 - Chelsea 1 (4)-(3) 1 Bayern Munich

I reckon Bayern did take it slightly easy in truth because of risk of injury. They can win the German Cup when they want, like we can win the FA Cup when we want but our cup final was 2 weeks before tomorrows big one so we had slightly more room to manoeuvre. The manager obviously wanted to win it with the team he put out but the players went into it a bit scared and if you go into a final against a good team subdued, you're gonna pay. We've had good recovery time so we should go into the game in as good as shape as possible considering the team we can chose from. -
I dunno why, i put the internet on and came here at 7am... and i'm eating an easter egg like why the fuck and how did that chain of events even happen? Am i in a pub.... well bit early for a carlsberg i'll ave a coke for now, got work in a few hours (more like 5). Fancy a game of pool?

Same as most of you or all of you.... Nervous, nervous, nervous. I actually feel rather sick too, not sure if it's thinking of the game or not but am feeling a tad ill lol.

I had a dream last night (really i did) that we won it, the players with that trophy celebrating. I shake about this game, i don't know how my nerves will be at around 7:30 on game day. I really don't know how i'll be able to cope. And if it goes to pens? Oh dear. Call 999 -
Quite shocked he's been sacked, with those players he had i thought he exceeded expectations by coming 8th.

Marking Mario Gomez is the Key in Munich
Ollie replied to MagicManMata's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
These replies are really asking for trouble. The 2 key players are Schweinsteiger and Ribery imo. -
Trully stunned when i heard Downing Syndrome get the nod ahead of Lennon and Johnson. He's the worst winger to ever grace the English game and no Micah Richards? This guy is simply no better than Steve McClaren. We're gonna get arse raped at these Euro's, especially by that French team.

Where will you be during the Champions League Final?
Ollie replied to Gianfranco_Z's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Gonna get up really early and most likely be shaking. Booked the day off work the day after we done Barca and gonna try n get out early on Friday too. Gonna go down Brighton with my Dad and brother to meet up with my Grandad and Grandma. My Uncle, Auntie and my cousin are coming down from Amsterdam and my other Auntie and Uncle may be there too. Also 2 or my dads mates will be coming with us. It's gonna be huge. Gonna find a pub and get completely wrecked. All my Dads side of the Family are Chelsea and have seen everything between them so if we win, it will be the greatest day of my life bar none. Really buzzing (shaking) for this, never been so nervous, ever. This is it. -
Rio ain't done anything all season when he's played. He's not even been half of what he was 2 or 3 years back.

Sneaky with £20 left over. Having fun now

i watched Man City beat Porto 4-0 but Hulk was very good in the game despite the scoreline. The score was harsh anyway, i was impressed with him, he did show good ability with his power (well he is Brazilian) so it's not only power, more power yeah but can take players on and beat them with skill too. He's the perfect wide man, perfect. The Portuguese league isn't a European powerhouse but the players are good technically, they aint a bunch of retards. We struggled with Benfica, City were knocked out by Sporting. Any premier league / 1st division around Europe is at a decent level. The only way we'll know if he's good enough is if we bring him here. I am 100% sure he'll be great here, he's perfect for the physicality of the Premier League. Some of his goals are unbelievable too like the one in Benfica not long ago. Nobody is stopping that. I would love him here. I couldn't even imagine or draw or describe a better suited winger for our league than him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04jDDYylQ2s Portuguese teams have great European tradition. Porto and Benfica have won it, not sure about sporting but i'm sure they have been in finals unless u mean recently. Benfica were good against us this season and had a good run in 2006, Porto won it in 2004.

Wow, how did a vid like that get out? "Why did Allardyce get sacked?" Kean: "Because he's a fucking crook" Wow... Glad those cunts have gone down now, Kean seems like a right smug cunt who thinks he knows all.

I think Hulk is different to most of them players tho. Hulk is powerful, he may not dribble round 6 players but he'll run through them. Arsenal's Chamberlain is much in the same mould, big, quick, direct, powerful. Arsenal have a gem in Chamberlain but Hulk is the advanced version and still young to be here a while if he comes. You can't compare Hulk to Mata, Ozil or Robben. his style is so different. He's more Ronaldo like, doesn't score as many because Ronaldo & Messi both score stupid amounts but he's in the same mould.

Middleoftheshed knows more than most about kits so if he posts a kit, believe it to be right. He has his info.

Will go with youth, experience and form. I can see a back 4 of Richards - Lescott - Cahill - Cole 2 City lads next to each other and the 2 Chelsea boys. Both hopefully buzzing from major trophies. I hope he takes JT because i'd like to see 3 Chelsea boys at the back, especially as we've been pretty good at the back recently and there is a great understanding between JT, Gaz and Ash. You'd have to pick em together if you have any real sense. I just feel that he wont pick JT.

Club is always before country in my book and always will be. that doesn't mean i wouldn't be happy to see us win something internationally but i hate half the England squad, i feel a tad hypocritical cheering for certain players like Gerrard, Rooney, Rio etc. One love.

The French league is more competitive than the Portuguese league by a long shot. There is still a big step up from Ligue 1 to the prem tho. Wasn't Gervinho top scorer in Ligue 1 last season? shocking.

Voted for Alex because he does so much here, posts so often and posts properly without spamming or writing nonsense (most of the time) and spends a lot of time and effort here. I voted for Steve for staff (for a change) so only fair to vote Alex here.
