  1. Maybe for UCL games, but i doubt in every game. People have already bought the new shirt lol.
  2. An official Talk Chelsea burgular alarm. The worry is if the board isn't backed up often and some cunt decides he'll delete half the stuff and be a cunt but i know there's no danger of this because Jim is a ledge. By the way i love the logo with the UCL trophy. Maybe the FA Cup should get a mention too tho, maybe on the other side, i mean it was against Liverpool, equalling Liverpool's tally and got Dalglish the sack momentous. But also leaving it as it is is fine, looks great.
  3. He has to think properly, we need wingers, he will play every game for us but City, United, Arsenal and Tottenham all have wingers who are young and it will be hard for him just to walk in to the team, altho he is better than most of them, he'll face bigger competition from them. For us, he'll simply just walk straight in i would imagine. Torres/Drogba Hazard - Mata - Hulk Lampard - Mikel Not sure where Ramires will play but the options are great. I'm not expecting Lamps to play every game tho so maybe Rami can play with Mikel. Suddenly if we get Hulk and Hazard, we will be challenging for the league again. Need to try and force this through.
  4. This trophy has been earned more than any team has ever earned it. This season we had all the luck that deserted us for so long, it all came back in just one season. They say luck evens itself out and eventually you get what you deserve and we've fucking deserved this. 4 losing Semi's in 04, 05, 07 and 09. A losing final in 08. These included us losing 2 penalty shootouts and hitting the woodwork and being completely screwed by anything and everything and everyone. This Champions League trophy is the work of all of the sweat, blood and tears shed over a decade of transition, transformation and hard work. All stemming back from the Chelsea - Liverpool game in 2003, that was the catalyst and that was the season where we came 4th with no fucking money, very much in the red and facing a fairly bleak future it seemed. Getting that result changed everything, you never know if Roman would've bought us if we weren't in the UCL, he might of but we wont know. The fact is, without the money, we qualified for the Champions League and we started this run from that. Roman took over, paid the debt, bought some world class players and we haven't looked back since. We all know the heartache of our Champions League campaigns in the past but you have to keep fighting and believing. This season has just been mad. A bad league season not even winning half our matches but suddenly we were getting all the luck in Europe and to win it on penalties with loads of luck in our last half a dozen games was how it needed to be done. That was the perfect way to do it imo, it felt so sweet. People will be jealous, people will be pissed off, people will be gutted (North London ) but we've earned this and it would've been a fucking travesty if Cole, Drogs, Lamps, Cech and JT had never got their hands on this trophy. This was supposedly their last chance and this was the one that we won. It couldn't of been any more perfect, it's a dream come true and something that truly was, written in the stars.
  5. I love them, those reactions were just pub like, bet the wished they'd been drinking. Seems weird that Jason Cundy played for yids and did this... I was dead still on every pen until Schweinsteiger missed, then i jumped around saying "if we score, we're European Champions!" like 30 times. That sparked a mass brawl but hey, was worth it.
  6. I'm pretty sure we started Bertrand at LW, we had 2 of the England back 4 which may have been 3 if JT wasn't suspended and an English midfielder in Lamps, plus Sturridge, Hutchinson and Chalobah in the squad too, i think a couple of em on the bench. I think in todays football, especially in an English team, that's pretty impressive. I'm not sure what the point is here. What has it done for Chelsea? Apart from the fact that we get loads of money and a very good choice of player to bring in. It's money earned by the team to use, not just thrown in by the owner. Forget the attacking bullshit, Celtic won it in a different era, they'll never get close again tho but in todays era, by hook or by crook we managed to get the job done. It goes on the CV, Chelsea have won the Champions League and boy it gives us some bragging rights over North London scum. Really strange post tbh, maybe jealous or something that Scotish football is a similar standard to the blue square premier now. Winning a CL, at any time in any way is massive. Cahill's career as well is Luiz and Mata will grow now, it breeds mega confidence. Bertrand played and there were other youngsters there too. Chelsea Football Club just got a lot bigger thanks to yesterday. More interest, fans, players, coverage, exposure. Monumental day for everyone involved in the club.
  7. Suddenly we win the UCL and it's ooooh i might go there! Well the thought of Hulk on the right and Hazard on the left is a pretty orgasmic thought i must say. I hate transfer rumours, hopefully these deals don't drag and drag like previous years.
  8. Well done to Napoli. To be honest, i think both sets of fans are happy. Glad Napoli won.
  9. Was there from about 1:45 to half 5 ish, was a really good few hours of celebration and fun.
  10. It changes so much, everything has changed. The thought of coming 6th and being in the europa league, missing out on money and signings could've fucked us. The way Man City have been lately and Tottenham makes it harder each year to keep getting into the top 4 so we won this UCL bang when we needed to. That win last night simply changed Chelsea FC forever. We'll be huge now if we do things right, absolutely huge. Fuck Man City, we've won the big one. If they dominate for the next few years, so what... we've won the fucking lot and no one can ever take that away. 12 trophies, 7 years.... including 3 Prems and the UCL. We'll be a hell of a lot better now after yesterday. Still can't believe we've actually done it tho. I'll need to watch it again.
  11. He's great at pens, just was never the pen taker here or for Liverpool. He was very good for Atletico. At least he put his name forward unlike that pussy Robben. I don't think Nando will leave us, he just wants to have more of a role. To be honest tho half of this is his fault for not finding the net.
  12. Came the same year as Didier and has been equally brilliant. Legend, happy birthday big man! The save from Carroll's header and the Robben pen were as important as Drogs goals at the other end and then the penalty shootout yesterday, immense.
  13. Surely this must be nailed on now. European Champions and back there again next season. Orgasmic times.
  14. Forget JT's slip, forget Iniesta, forget Garcia, Forget Ovrebo, forget everything. It's done. Wiped out, finished, no more heartache and such a monkey off the back, it's like an Elephant off the back.
  15. Was shocked beyond belief when i saw him starting but these occasions will just make him grow so much as a player.
  16. His Chelsea career is complete. He should now go down as our greatest forward ever. I think seriously he should relax now and go and finish his career is the USA. As Henrique rightly said, he's got nothing left to prove unless he want to win the World Club Championship and Super Cup to fully complete the set. Apparently there will be talks in the week over his contract, lets just see what happens with it. I'll never be able to thank him enough for what he's done here.
  17. He changed the game when he came on but was nice for him to congratulate Ryan, that was a nice touch. We looked so much better when Torres came on tho. I think he was saying to Robbie "No, i don't want a penalty, please let me sit down". He's now won the UCL, World Cup, European Championships and FA Cup. He needs that Prem trophy now to really stick it to the scousers.
  18. Because i'm a man of my word and because we've just won the European Cup, i have just donated the £100 that i promised if we won
  19. It's the fairy tale of all fairy tales. Fighting relegation in December, winning the Champions League and FA Cup in may. It's a whirlwind
  20. Definitely go, if you can go, it's a must. Every Chelsea fan if they can go, have seriously got to go imho. I'll be there for 100% definite, can't wait.
  21. Ok now i'm sober (slightly) and feeling good, i can have a little speech yay. Well what can i even say to be honest? After all the torment since 2004, i can't believe we've finally done it. Our name was on the cup, i don't usually say or believe that shit but it really was, this was our year! How many times have we been dead, once... no, twice.....no, 3 times.... no but 4! We had a nervy group phase where going into matchday 6 we had to beat Valencia just to even get through and then needed to hope Leverkusen fucked up against Genk away to top the group which indeed happened so we didn't just get through, we topped the group. Then Napoli, 3-1 down after the first leg to then go through 4-1 AET, the 3-1 was the lowest point of the season. There was discontent, division, unrest and obviously change was needed and AVB was indeed sacked not long after. We then knocked out Benfica to get another shot an FC Barcelona. Winning the 1st leg 1-0 somehow, we conceded then lost our captain then conceded again and were looking like getting a good hammering but NO! We shall not be fucking beaten! Ramires' magic just on half time and the Torres' famous last minute leveller put us into the Final for the first time since 2008. I didn't know what to think really leading up to the game. On a football basis i thought we were second favourites, in the very home of Bayern Munich and with JT, Ivan, Raul and Rami all suspended i couldn't see how we'd win but on the other hand it just seemed like fate had got us here and someone or something was now going to accept that this is Chelsea's time. Like most of our other games, possession wasn't with us, we let them play, we defended like lions. We got battered in truth but that's how we play. We know what we're good at and it was almost the feeling of 'thou shalt not pass'. Then disaster, Muller scores with just 7 minutes to go, 7 fucking minutes, shit surely now our luck is out. We get a corner, 2 minutes to go, our first corner of the game and DROGBAAAAAAA!! and another Neville orgasm, the header flies in and again we will not stay down! Extra time.... more Bayern pressure, Drogba fouls Ribery in the box, Fabregas-esque, i thought, genuinely that this was it because i couldn't see us escaping again and again. We're never gonna win the Champions League. Robben stepped up, the ex Chelsea boy to break our hearts, he struck the ball quite powerfully but Cech saved it! we were still there, breathing and not gonna let this opportunity go. I said to everyone around me "We've won it, our name's on it, it's ours" i realised that our name is genuinely on this. Then, what all of us dreaded. That 'P' word. PENALTIES There's me saying we've won but then it hits me again. Penalties? English against Germans? in... GERMANY!? oh shit! They scored their first 3, we missed our first. They needed just 2 pens to win. Cech saves from Olic and there's 1 pen each to go. Schweinsteiger.... the Captain, the man who scored the winning penalty in Madrid, a GERMAN! stepped up to put his side 4-3 up. He stutters, guides it towards the bottom corner but Cech pushes it onto the post and now we just need one to win. Just like Moscow. But this time it wasn't JT stepping up, this time Drogba was still on the pitch to take the 5th. He took like 2 strides and put it in like it was a friendly. We had done it, we have won the ultimate prize against Germans, in Germany, on Penalties. I used to always say winning on pens is a shit way to win but for this occasion, it was the perfect and most fitting way to get the job done. And we've fucked Tottenham and put Arsenal in a qualifier YES! It's fitting tho, as we were founded in 1905 to win the big one on 19th May (19/05) just perfect and just like Liverpool in 1984, we went into the lions den. We took on a team in the final in their own stadium and won on pens. Super cup and World Club Championships here we come baby. Going to the parade this afternoon, it's gonna be another fantastic day. I can't wait!
