We were a 2-0 team not a 1-0 team and we did really go over a few teams. Not necessarily 7-0 or 8-0 but the other teams knew they weren't gonna come to the Bridge and win. Now teams are causing us bother. Our home record will go soon and it will most definitely be Liverpool who take it again. This season top 4 must be the aim then to push for the title next season. Our team is no where near good enough to be champions now.

He's EXACTLY the player we need. Strong, can shoot from anywhere and is very good defensively. Great player in both halves of the pitch.

I worry about their pace. Wallcott makes good runs and they have the players to thread passes through. Our defence just isn't solid enough atm. We'll need to score at least 3 to win the game. That worries me.

Indeed, this is now when we need to see Arsenal lose points. Everton, City, Chelsea. They could in theory lose all 3 and i really bloody hope they do. Unfortunately it's only really the City game i think they'll lose.

Waited until today to respond because i was so fucked off. After thinking about it, i've come to the conclusion that these matches happen every season and we will be here many more times but i still believe we'll be top by Jan 1. I've also come to the conclusion that we need Lukaku back and we need to sell Ramires. I admire Rami's work rate but his ball distribution is awful and he's not the level of player we need now imo. We need a Yaya Toure. I knew at half time that it was gonna go wrong because of the way we dominated the first half and conceded such a horrible goal to go in level. I had hope when Shirley made it 2-2 but they were much more in our faces in the 2nd half and we seemed a bit fragile against it. The Arsenal away game in a couple of weeks is gonna be the biggest match of the season so far. Arsenal have a really tough next few games for a change. They will drop points very soon so we must now capitalise after yesterdays shocker. It's not all bad.

He's the long ball option. If he wasn't playing, we woulda lost the game. I remember when we were losing to Arsenal 1-0, we brought Anelka on and played him with Drogba and hammered the long balls up to Didier. They linked superbly and we won 2-1. He's the only striker we have with strength, height and the long ball game. It's also another sign to bring back the good ol' 4-4-2. He uses it like he used Crespo with Drogba and that was wonderful too, especially against West Ham. Ba should start against Sunderland.

Needs a run in the team, surely? Or at least not as far away from it as he has been? He's such a presence and can be so deadly. I really don't see much wrong with him. He's big, pretty quick, makes good runs, strong, good in the air, direct... He should definitely be playing more, definitely!

Probably the worst thing i've ever seen, seeing Essien like that. At least Jose didn't humiliate him and drag him off before H/T like Joe Cole because he deserved it.

£30m for him is sick. Not sick as in the way it's said nowadays, sick as in... SICK. He's alright, pretty solid and good target man abilities but £30m for someone in the Portuguese league? £18m max for me. Why don't we just play Demba Ba more?

Absolutely no idea why he didn't play midweek. That was a huge error in the type of game where there was no risk. Oscar, Ramires and Willian did precisely nothing between them and we went the whole game without a shot off or on target. Shocking. We lost yet we're in a fantastic position. I'll never know or understand Jose's thinking midweek.

Don't see why we shan't win this. They are in a false position and this is as good a time as any to see them start falling away. They took 4 points off us last season so we'll get em back tomorrow.
