  1. Why do people say FA Cup or League or FA Cup or UCL? We should be competing for the whole lot and trying to win every game. We have injuries and we have players in great form and they need to start every game. I don't buy this players needing rest bollocks when they play once on 4 days or 7. We get a few times where we play 1 in 3 but not atm. These are guys at the top of their physical conditions and age and a game is 90 minutes with a 15 minute break in between, not 3 hours continuously. Rest players vs Norwich at home, NOT Man City away.
  2. Different to the league game as we both have injuries and UCL coming up so will be 2 weaker teams. I reckon City will probably win but i'm looking forward to seeing us with a completely different yet good back 4. Our record in big games with Ivanovic and Luiz together is actually fantastic and will be good to see Cole back, it's a massive game for him. City may win but we'll compete and we will field a good team. Schurrle needs a big performance if he plays. If not, i can see him going in the summer. It's the business end of the season and he needs to do something to prove why he's here and so we don't just rely on the usual guys.
  3. Shame, woulda loved to see JT partner Cahill in a world cup.
  4. Didn't attack enough in the 2nd half and didn't get the ball to Hazard much either. Hazard shoulda crossed when we seemed to have been 4 on 2 early in the 2nd half but them WBA went for it and we couldn't handle it. Oscar was poor, Luiz was poor, Ivanovic should stop moaning to the linesman and get on with the game and we as a whole need to kill teams off more because that will cost us the title. I knew we wouldn't win this game but to throw it away with only a few minutes to go is really disappointing. Still... we coulda lost so i'd say a point gained and we take it and move on. MOTM Willian without a doubt.
  5. I bet against Chelsea when i have a bad feeling about the game, i.e Newcastle away. I've done it again today, law of averages time again.
  6. I sense disaster. Although at the same time we could win 5-0.
  7. WBA have beaten us twice in a row there. WBA came within 10 seconds of busting Jose's home Chelsea record which we all know was because they were very hard done by. Pepe Mel has not won with WBA yet. We've won 8 and drawn 2 out of our last 10 games. Pepe Mel's Real Betis team beat Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid team 1-0 last season. Interesting game that i feel we won't win. Got a feeling we'll go down here 2-1. Hope i'm wrong.
  8. They're too big a club for this to be permanent so i'll just say enjoy this while it lasts. It could be Liverpool 1991 or it could be Chelsea 2012 (League wise) but there's no guarantee so just live for the moment.
  9. I'm not just talking about us though, i'm taking in general. Arsenal vs Man Utd, Liverpool vs Fulham, Man Utd's top 4 hopes could be and probably will be over tomorrow. The relegation battle with West Ham vs Norwich and Cardiff vs Villa. There is so much on most of these games and a lot could change by this time next week. We need to win as do City in potential tricky fixtures. Massive game week.
  10. This could the biggest midweek fixture list ever. Can't wait for these games!
  11. He looks absolutely gutted beyond words. His career has been completely ruined in the space of 6 months.
  12. Best weekend ever? (Obviously not including winning trophies).
  13. All the shit we got from Fergie is coming back around in Moyes' direction. I reckon he's on the verge of hanging himself. Liverpool play Fulham when Man Utd go to Arsenal. Utd's run in is TOUGH! top 4 is over for them, trust me. Oh dear.
  14. That's the best curse i've done to them all season. They've cost me 100's this season, i ain't stopping yet. Arsenal with thrash em on Weds.
  15. This is so funny to watch. they may have had 99% possession but they don't even look like scoring. Anyway there goes my £15. Time to curse the mancs.
  16. Fulham shoulda scored all 3 of those counter attacks. Man Utd's defence is all over the place, what a hilarious team. I've got £15 left in my WH account, gonna hold on as long as i can until i whack it on a Man Utd win. And they go to the Emirates on Wednesday. This could be a fatal blow, a dagger to the heart. 'Mon you FULHAM! Lewis Holtby looks pretty decent, good and composed on the ball. And Mata showing why we sold him. Man Utd will win though. Absolutely no doubt Man Utd will win this game somehow. I can smell a fergie time last gasp winner.
  17. Start the strongest team, kill it, bring em off. The last thing we want to do is get desperate and need a goal with 15 minutes left. Hazard is 23, he's in the form of his life and does not need rest.
  18. We seem to have a few problems with this lot dont we. They beat us twice in a row up there and they shoulda beat us at the bridge earlier in the season. I've watched WBA this season and i think they're pretty awful. We should win this game very comfortably. The only way we'll mess up here is if we hand them a way back into the game like Liverpool did last weekend or they get a set piece. Liverpool were so comfortable until Kolo decided to pass the ball to Anichebe. We have the class and the momentum and i think we'll win 3-0.
  19. Looked nervous but straight away you can see his ability to run in behind and get into good goal scoring positions. Jose will make him a very good player. I'm confident he'll be decent.
  20. If Fulham win here it will be the biggest shock ever in premier league history regardless how bad Man Utd have been this season. Fulham are awful. I reckon this will be at least 4-0. Surprised Everton lost that last match too, were so much the better team. Fell asleep once and paid the price. Don't you just love it though... Man Utd and Liverpool battling for 4th. But saying that.... Liverpool are only 6 points behind us and we still need to go there. It's been a mad season, so tight top and bottom. I'm excited about our run in though. I don't even care if Fulham get smashed today tbh.
  21. (Just before the Roman Era) Cudicini Petrescu - Desailly - Leboeuf - Le Saux Poyet - Wise - Di matteo Zola Gudjohnsen - Hasselbaink
  22. We've had some ridiculously good players if you go on 'peaks' Zola, Ballack, Gullit, Hoddle, Shevchenko, Torres, Drogba, Weah, Desailly, Vialli, Deschamps etc etc if we had all of these 5 years before we got them... quite something to think about. And even managers when you look at the likes of Mourinho, Ancellotti, Scolari, Hoddle, Gullit. Since Hoddle signed Ruud Gullit in 1995 and he started the foreign revolution, we've signed some serious names. Even Eto'o, Crespo, Hughes, Veron, Deco, some huge names have marked this club.
  23. If Jose had stayed in charge in 07/08 that team would've been the best ever. Unfortunately that turned out to be the most heartbreaking season ever. The 04/05 season was our best season though because we just never looked like losing or conceding. We were so ruthless then. And as some people have put teams up, i'll say that my best in this era would be Cech Ivanovic - Carvalho - Terry - Cole Essien - Makelele - Lampard Robben - Drogba - Hazard
  24. Newcastle started ok but when you have players like Hazard, Oscar etc then you know they can do something out of the blue. The goals were pure works of art, beautiful. Set up well and finished expertly. Was a really big win and if you look at our run in, you'd probably say we're favourites now as we've done so well in the big games. I wasn't really thinking about it too much but now looking at the table and our fixtures with the run in i'm actually really nervous now, these are mega exciting times. I know it was very much the Eden Hazard show but the way he was set up by the rest of the players was great too. The flick from Eto'o and the pass for his first goal were perfect for him to finish off. Stunning player though, best in the league.
  25. Jose will get who he wants and he'll have a very good reason to do so. Don't be surprised if he raids the Portuguese league, there are some good strikers there and he said it's his 2nd most watched league after the PL. I'm sure we'll sign 1 main striker with 2 more. I'd trust him with anyone. I'd also like to see Bamford integrated within the next couple of seasons too. I know it's unlikely but he's not exactly done any harm in his loans. Anyway bottom line = Trust the man and wait.
