He was running at full speed with 120 minutes on the clock. The only players I've seen do that in recent years are Kante and Robben. He definitely has the mentality and stamina to play alongside Kante. Looks to be quite skilful and smart on the ball as well. Other thing I really appreciate in his play is his Modric-esque ability to retain possession and make good decisions under pressure.

For £50m+ we should take it. He's getting old and let's be honest, he'll be losing that acceleration he relies so much on in the next couple seasons. Plus he's not decisive or consistent enough and never has been. Use Batshuayi to lure Pulisic here to replace Willian and it's a win-win for everybody

Is he really that much better than Loftus-Cheek? I don't see why there's so much hype. He's a talented and skilful midfielder alright but nothing about him tells me that this is the guy want to buy for 100 million.

Why are we not linked with William Carvalho? He's skilful and strong deep-lying playmaker, something that our midfield desperately needs. And the best thing, he's available for free.

This would be a smart move IMO. He's one of the best ball-playing keepers in the world and quite good making De Gea-esque close range saves as well. He still needs to practise penalties (Holland vs. Costa Rica never forget) and how to control crosses before one could consider him as elite but overall, a good choice. Cillessen is a quality keeper and buying him would also fit well into the transfer policy we've been practising in recent years. Spending £60m on Alisson would not. Cillessen's price mentioned in that metro article is absolute BS though, no one would pay £52m for a second choice goalkeeper no matter how good he is. I reckon that Barcelona would be willing to sell for around £25-30m.
