If we only buy one player during the summer I'd love it to be this guy. We've got all other positions reasonably well covered but none of the players in the team can do what Jorginho does.

There's a very good reason why Mourinho would absolutely love to sign Bale. Not trying to be reactive here in the aftermath of the game, especially considering the goalkeeping mistakes, but Bale generally delivers whenever he's fit and whenever stakes are high. He belongs to that select group of players that are capable of something special. Would love to have him at Chelsea despite his injury record and his age.

Umm I meant he has the talent to eventually become a very very good player, perhaps not as good as Hazard but his ceiling is far above Willian for example. Obviously right now he's still a kid and far away from that level, but for a 19 year old he's surprisingly good already.

I might be slightly biased here (lol) but I feel that Eden Hazard has earned the right to at least comment on this. He has stayed at the club year after year despite us playing defensive football. Now there's a chance we'll get attack-minded coach so yeah, give him at least a chance to state his opinion on the issue. This is Eden Hazard we're talking about, the best and most talented player at the club, and not some random mediocre player like Bakayoko who's opinions obviously would be ignored altogether. That rumour is most likely BS though.

This move would make a lot of sense. As an American, he has absolute massive marketing potential (in the US) and he's very good as a player as well. Not quite Eden Hazard-level talent but close.

Zielinski is a top prospect, new Modric in the making, but £57m seems excessive for such an inexperienced player. I'd rather use the money to get Jorginho and outbid City. Hysaj doesn't seem too exciting either considering we've got one of the best right backs on the planet already in the squad. I wouldn't mind getting Albiol as the squad lacks experience but that would essentially mean that one of Rudiger, Christensen, Cahill, Zouma would be left out. Most likely Zouma.

And you think this would somehow help with integrating the youth and planning for the long-term?

Focusing too much on the negatives in my opinion. Most of the players in the squad are good enough to play Sarriball and the ones you've mentioned are some of the few that aren't. Frankly, regardless of who's the manager next season, our summer transfer business will have been an utter disaster if any of those three are in the starting lineup come August. Luckily we've got plenty of technical-minded and talented players on loan and in the academy, and I hope Sarri will live up to his reputation on developing existing players rather than engaging in a full-blown transfer spending spree. We only need 2 or 3 new signings in addition to returning loanees in order to to have a squad full of players that have all the qualities to play in Sarri's system.

So so excited to see Hazard play in an attacking setup. Let's get this done!

So childish and unprofessional.... He's a great player when at his best but he isn't getting any younger and arguably has reached his peak already. Willian's whole playing style relies so much on the way he's able to accelerate and switch direction so quickly and this ability will inevitably deteriorate in the coming seasons anyways. It wouldn't bother me if he was sold to United because he's ageing and I can't see him being much of threat to us as long as Mourinho is their manager. Just look how ordinary Sanchez looks in that team and in my opinion he's class above Willian.
