  1. Fucking brilliant goal by Pat Nevin!! :blue scalf:
  2. I really want it to be Hiddink now. I think it makes sense that he's appointed. He achieved an FA Cup in 4 months with us while we were on a poor run. Imagine if Hiddink was with us long term.
  3. oh I actually thought he had come back!! I didn't even notice the dates!!
  4. It could be from a video game or from any kind of movie! My inspirational character has to be Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, he proves my love for all things cold!
  5. Great playmaker, so I've heard...
  6. I totally agree, and I don't think I would want Pep to join either. I hate Barcelona for their cheating as much as the next man does, but the fact of the matter is, I watched Barca tear United apart yesterday night with some of the best football I've seen in a European final! We've seen exciting finals with no goals, and we've seen boring finals with some goals, but last night, we saw a final with sexy football with plenty of goals. It's the kind of football, whether it's Chelsea or not, that I love to see every time I watch it on the television. As Pep rightly says, he wouldn't find the right mentality, and the players or the same spirit if he managed a different team. Right now, he's still young (40 is relatively young for a managing career), furthermore, he's at a team that plays argueably the best football in the world. Whatever has been built at that club has obviously taken it's time to develop over the course of a few years. If he were to come to Chelsea now, he would have to work from the depths again. If I were him, I'd stay where he is, especially with a club you played for during your playing days. Hiddink is a much better choice than Pep because at least he has more managing experience and he has already taken us before, and won a trophy. I'm sure if he were to return, he would be welcomed by all the Chelsea players. He is of course already a cult hero in most of the Chelsea faithful, not just the players.
  7. välkomna tillbaka Oscar det har varit alldeles för långt :blue scalf:
  8. The last 3 years I've enjoyed going to Champions League home games during the Group Stage. I've been to the matches against Bordeaux, Cluj, APOEL, and Zilina. I won't be going to a Champions League match next season though, £40 is almost as much as what it would have cost for a Premier League match 3 years ago! Total rip-off
  9. That's a very bad decision from the Dutch government! I'd be suprisied if Amsterdam still gets as many tourists over there by 2012. It's all about smoking weed over there!
  10. Would love the look of this midfield.... -- Essien / Mikel -- -- Ramires -- Modric -- Modric would play just in front of Ramires, acting as a playmaker for Torres, while pushing the ball out on the wing to the likes of Sturridge and Neymar. You could always have Lampard on the bench as a utility player. I think Lampard is getting to that age now where he could be treated more as a highly experienced veteran, rather than a world class midfielder.
  11. Modric is that playmaker you really need in your team. A bit pricey at £30 million though I must say!
  12. I have a terrible cough today! And it's got to my chest! A cuppa will sort me out!
  13. You wouldn't tempt Chelsea with £100m for McEachran, let along £50m! He's priceless... he's the best youth prodigy from Chelsea since JT, and we need to give him the opportunities he deserves!
  14. The Champions League ticket prices have gone up again??? :o
  15. Sounds like he could be injury prone then... I don't like those types of players
  16. I'm not in the slghtest bit bothered, it just sprang to mind! There are a host of other managers linked with the vacant job, like Redknapp and Hiddink (and Mourinho) all with massive possibility of taking the reigns. Any good rumor that comes up just proves that we're close of getting someone sooner rather than later, which means we can then start to think about what type of players we're going to bring in over the summer.
  17. Very well done to all the award winners! Very well deserved 3 people voted me for most liked member... I'm touched by that
  18. Ganso was meant to be going to Inter Milan for some £32 million. I wonder where all those rumors went??
  19. I wouldn't be putting in a fair bet if I said that if Barcelona win the Champions League, Guardiola will leave the club. It may seem bizarre, but Mourinho did that when Porto won it in 2004, some few weeks later, he was appointed our manager, so who's to say we're not in for deja vu here??
  20. Paulo Ferreira, Branislav Ivanovic, David Luiz and Nicolas Anelka all play a giant game of Space Invaders!! Totally awesome :D
  21. I don't get it.... ..... ooh yeah I do now, just took me a while to catch up!
