If you experiment by putting them up front in Torres' first game, and he has no proper experience playing up front with a striker of Drogba's calibre, then it's no wonder he can't do much! He was just too lenient as a manager. He never used the hairdryer method on the players in the dressing room, and results proved that. I don't think Brazilian managers have ever done well in the English league.

No doubt in my mind it could work, and I'm not saying that it won't work! However, time is needed! The last time Drogba and Torres worked in the same team, it felt like one was invading the other's space, and they couldn't form well as a unit. Torres enjoys a lot of space in attack so that he can get into positions to score, as well as a good midfield service. However, if some of that space is invaded by a player like Drogba, it's not as easy for Torres. Of course I want to see Drogba and Torres in the same team together, don't get me wrong, but something like takes time to develop.

We might as well play Luiz at right back since he's able to play there! I wouldn't say this is the right kind of game to be experimenting though, especially when Gareth Bale can bomb down the left with ease.

Kluivert doesn't play in midfield dude! I would rather add Cruyff in that Barcelona team somewhere rather than Deco in all honesty!

Mikel could be in a holding role, while you have the likes of Ramires running in and getting at the opposing defence, while Lampard is there to make crucial passes and maybe even score himself. I think Torres will be on the bench again, but Carlo should give him a lot more minutes of game time than what he's currently giving him. I don't think giving him 10-15 minutes of game time is enough in all honesty. Maybe on the 60-minute mark, he should come on! I do however agree with any arguement that Torres should be put in the starting XI.
