Modric is the better buy out of the two. And I think we need to be chasing him first, ahead of the likes of Neymar, Aguero or Sanchez. We need to be aware on how poorly our midfield was this season gone. Our title challenge faltered because our midfield just wasn't good enough. A playmaker is so important for us right now because at the moment, we don't have one.

I don't agree with getting rid of Mikel either. He's played soo many games for us since he joined in 2006, and yet he's still at a very young age of 24. There aren't many players in our team who are in that stage at the moment, and we really need to keep those types of players. I would offer them Kalou and Malouda
