I was thinking that as well. I don't think Wenger likes to spend because he tends to enjoy raising the younger generation of players, which is fine, but some players don't ever grow up to be natural born leaders. Apart from maybe Fabregas, who himself in a very poor state of mind at the moment since he's being strongly linked with Barcelona at the moment, Arsenal lack a natural born leader, and they've never had one since Tony Adams. We have JT (and at times, Lampard), Liverpool have Gerrard, United have Ferdinand, Giggs and maybe Rooney, but who do Arsenal have?? If you count out Cesc, they have no-one.

Exactly, Bruma has very little playing experience, so you can expect him making a host of mistakes. He is still 19 however, and making early mistakes are sometimes good because you can learn from them as you play more and more games. That's what raising yourself as a professional footballer is all about. Without making mistakes, you don't know where you are as far as abilities and stats are concerned. If he was coming to the peak of his career, and after a few games he was playing poorly, then there would be a cause for concern (like Torres right now)... so at the moment, I'm not worried, because as far as I see it, he is only going to get better the more games he plays. I'm sure John Terry made a host of mistakes when he was developing with us as a youth! These things take time to develop.

It's a massive ask though if you think about it! Bolton were on the end of a massive trashing from Stoke in the FA Cup semi-finals, so it's gives Arsenal an edge there, while United have won the last 12 home games in a row!
