  1. I just want this thread to be in the ex-blues section.
  2. As bad as things and the team selection are, I never want us to fucking lose. Come on now!
  3. Just scored an absolute beauty against Bayern.
  4. Tweeds ‏@JoeTweedie 45 mins45 minutes ago Oi. Imagine Pedro running at Cahill in training. There's a sitcom in there somewhere. Made me chuckle!
  5. Simon Johnson‏@sjstandardsport Emenalo and Ivanovic having quite a chat in corridor at Goodison Park - Ivanovic was doing most of the talking #Cfc
  6. The media will get Costa banned (its front page news on the daily mail website already) and shame on him for getting himself in the position. Ban him, play Traore for the rest of season. No excuse for even attempting it, even if he didnt go through with it, it's a disgusting move.
  7. Class, but don't worry, we signed Eto'o. Fucking hell. Short sighted bullshit.
  8. Gutless. Fucking spineless. Use any word you want but those away fans deserved better, heck, WE FUCKING DESERVE better. - Gary Cahill for that first goal. Don't get me wrong that was good from Lukaku but Cahill should be shot for back tracking in his own six yard box, would you see JT do that? Would you hell! - Oscar came on apparently. I wanted to cry when I saw that. - We are bang average. - Again, our away fans deserved more effort, they were great, the only man of the match for us. - Costa back to his old ways but he got zero protection from the ref today. Barry is a thug. - Jose is gone but his prints are all over this team. He can take the plaudits of last season so he can take the shit from this, he is a big factor in our demise, watching him walk into Man Utd like Gods fucking gift will be a laugh, shell of himself and should take responsibility. Bloody angry here as you can tell. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!! - Im off to forget football exists. This season is horrid. Later.
  9. FUCKING TRACKING BACK IN HIS OWN BOX?!?!?! Bang bloody average. Wouldn't see JT doing that. Gutless.
  10. Martinez is a man who said to the press that Gareth Barry is one of the greatest England players ever. As you can imagine I couldn't give a shiny shite what that absolute bullshit wanker has to say after that haha!
  11. BBC commentators are absolutely bloody awful. Either they are stating the obvious, have their head up Everton's ass or just talk absolute bollocks.
  12. Gareth Barry rolling around like he was punched square in the jaw. Bloody embarrassing from a supposed tough midfielder. Absolute pansy. Really poor refereeing performance. I'd get Baba on at HT for Kenedy, should have been booked already. Pretty shit game tbh, fucking hate Martinez, please win this!!
  13. A real no brainer. Willian. No one else has come close.

  15. I have absolutely no idea if the board will get it right, their past dealings are such a mixed bag, but with the previous two windows so fresh in all of our minds it's difficult to be optimistic. The club need to figure out what they want to do, it's like they have tentatively got their feet in each camp of giving youth a go or spending lots of money. Both efforts have been half hearted and have been instrumental in leading us to this point. A real low. I assume Conte is the man and that's all done and dusted barring any announcements officially from the club, that's good, we've got that sorted and are ready to go. I hope for the life of me that Conte has already identified targets and we are willing to back him in the summer window to get the squad he wants. I'm sick of hearing the whole 'well our manager didn't want that player blah blah', it's ridiculous. Like Special Juan said and was absolutely spot on, Guus needs to stay on in an advisory role, you can tell he knows the summer is going to be a crossroads moment for the club he clearly has a lot of affection for. I hope the board will keep him on in some capacity, and that they actually listen to him rather than a bunch of 'yes men' who will say whatever's easiest. This club needs gutting. I think Guus would be more ruthless in his assessment behind closed doors where it should be, his handling of it media wise has been stellar. I hope the next manager will be the same. Transfer wise? I can see a fair few going. I think Hazard's position has become very difficult. Me personally I'd leave it up to the next manager to decide if he can get him firing again. If that's a no from Conte then get the most funds we can for him and reinvest it wisely (Not like Liverpool with the sale of Suarez). It's clear we need defensive reinforcements, and an overhaul of our strikers with these 'come to our club to get fit and have a holiday in London' (looking at you Falcao and Pato) have to stop, it's making us even more of a laughing stock and gives the fans no faith that the guys behind the transfers can turn this around. Like Guus has this season, have faith in youth that are good enough, RLC (sometimes needs a rocket up his arse, I'll admit), Kenedy and Traore have all shone at times and need to be brought through more during this transitional period. The midfield needs a bit more steel also. I'd keep Mikel (people will go mad here I'm sure), he is such a useful squad player, Matic has fallen from grace so far that I don't even recognise him, hopefully the new manager can put their arm around him and get him back. Fabregas is a player who needs a shield, switching to a 3 man midfield with two warriors either side is a must if we are keeping him. Costa needs to stay, the man is a warrior and last night proved he's fighting for the club and the fans. Could be a leader for the next few years if he curbs his bastard tendencies. Apologies for the mini essay I just wanted to get these thoughts out of my head. Last nights game hurt. A lot. Hopefully we can turn it around and act swiftly this summer, I don't want another we've signed Michael Hector window. Oh and give JT a fucking contract.
  16. His turnaround this season has been a joy to watch. If only Eden Hazard could have done similar? This man is an absolute warrior and has proved me wrong. A real leader from the front tonight and we missed him when he went off. Keep him, he's a real big game player.
  17. I don't like booing any player of ours. That's just my opinion, but free speech and all that! Having said that, jeez this is becoming quite toxic, I can't see him here next season, do I believe he's just not trying? I honestly don't think that. I think he has absolutely zero confidence and was run into the ground and treated like crap by our previous manager earlier this season. I'm not saying that's an excuse for his performances, I just think it's a factor. He does need to grow a new pair of balls and be a man. Anyways, I'm sure he's gone, probably to PSG, can't see Real Madrid wanting him. Oh and PS. All the people on here saying 'Jose was right about him'. Can I just say Jose was also WRONG about a fucking shitload of things and is a huge factor in us being in this mess. The man himself was fucking toxic for this club and I'm sick to the back teeth hearing people saying 'Jose was right' at intervals this season. That's all I've got to say on it.
  18. Huge task for the new manager. Conte seems to be the guy and I wish him all the best and pray that he can bring us back to how we should be. Get rid of the tired deadwood that Jose deemed undroppable. Bring in fresh faces who want to play for the club with honour and respect.
  19. Simply not good enough. We were set up to fail this season right from the off. In that time we've had terrible decisions by previous managers, board members, owners have got us to this point. They all have a part to play and the ones who are still there have to fix it. Or else we won't be seeing Champions League football at the Bridge for a while. Crossroads moment for our club. Let's dust ourselves down and rebuild. Sigh.
  20. Game over. Cya in a few years champions league.
  21. Ref giving PSG free kicks to ease pressure, well done mate.
