  1. Team v Cardiff: Cech; Ivanovic, D Luiz, Terry ©, Bertrand; Ramires, Lampard; Willian, Mata, Hazard; Eto’o.
  2. A good friend of mine is a Cardiff City fan. Also I am off to Cardiff for a gig tomorrow night, so that's two other reasons why I want to see a nice comfortable 4-0 win here. Hoping for a Torres goal, but I'd be happy to see Eto'o get off the mark. Come on Chelsea!!!!
  3. Torres scores, looks great, gets sent off. Calling it now
  4. Chelsea FC ‏@chelseafc3m Mourinho: 'Torres is ready to play and he is selected.' Mourinho: 'Ashley is not fit, he can't train. Ryan Bertrand is more than ready to play.' #CFC Chelsea FC ‏@chelseafc50s Mourinho says Andre Schurrle has a slight niggle after returning from international duty and will be unavailable for selection. #CFC
  5. Willian with a goal worthy of spurs......Said no one EVER! All I can say is phew! Happy for Demba!
  6. Excited for next season. I trust Jose to make this guy even better after more EPL experience!
  7. We are due to beat them here more comfortably. Whenever we play at Carrow Road I am drawn back to the game in 2005 where Joey Cole scored an absolute belter! Must have been a good day because even my boy Kezman got a goal! Anyways, trip down memory lane aside, I am going for a 2-0 victory. Goals from Lampard and Schurrle. Come on boys!!
  8. Also Rambo was sublime. Seems we have another prolific goal scoring midfielder in town. The more the merrier!
  9. I think we can all agree everyone enjoyed that one. Schurrle, you did alright
  10. Schurrle deserves that 'Special Hug'. He has been incredible!!!!!!
  11. Also, feel so bloody sorry for Torres. I am fairly sure he's cracked a few mirrors and a black cat has crossed his path a few times. Hope it ain't serious!
  12. Such a good professional first half performance. Everyone has played well. I am already noticing a difference in Mata's overall play, he's been brilliant. As has Ramires, Lamps and our flying German winger Schurrle! On Eto'o though, not sure if I am being harsh, and I have given him the benefit of the doubt before, he just seems like the sort of player who, when leaving Anzhi should have gone one place, and thats the MLS in America. I would have loved to see Demba Good performance, lets get more goals
  13. Want: A comfortable win and a solid first half performance Torres to score A good Willian performance Mata to do what Mourinho wants and then some. A sandwich. Come on Chelsea!!
  14. I'd play: Cech Azpi Cahill Terry Cole Mikel Ramires Willian Mata KDB Torres Got to keep Torres ticking over from his good performances, and give KDB some playing time too. Easily good enough to beat these lot! Going for a 2-0 with Torres and Ramires to score. Prove me right boys!
  15. Chelsea FC ‏@chelseafc34s Mourinho says @juanmata10 will start v Steaua on Tuesday having earned it with his last two performances. #CFC Now THAT'S what Im talking about! Good on ya Mata!
  16. Jose Mourinho on Fernando Torres: "That's the Fernando Torres I want to see for the rest of the season" #CFC Really happy and gutted for Nando, hope he plays in the Champions League and gets the goals his last two performances have deserved. Trying not to get 'overly excited' about a Torres comeback, but a boost in form is very welcome. Well done Nando, and well done Jose for not just throwing Eto'o back in!
  17. Two words: Juan Mata. Great character from a superb footballer. Legend!
  18. Haven't got a lot against AVB, he gave the chels job a go but it didnt work out. He tried to change things too quickly, but I don't like airing dirty linen in the media and bringing up more personal stuff which he has done this week. So for that and the fact that he manages the spuds. HAMMER THEM CHELSEA!! Still nervous.
  19. Can't see Eto'o not starting, he appears to be the one even though he hasn't shown enough to have that place. Torres fought for the team and his place in it last night and should be rewarded (boosting his confidence) for a start against Spurs.
  20. I think its gonna be a 3-0. Torres double and a Mikel scissor kick. I make jokes when I'm nervous.
  21. Pretty dull game but job done. Thought Torres was very good, tailed off a bit in the second half but didn't have much to do. Loved the run at the end. (Side note: Nice to see the commentators not taking the mickey out of him for a change.) Willian was very greedy all game, needs to improve his decision making, I understand him wanting to get off the mark but with Nando facing an open goal you've just got to square it. Hats off to Essien too, thought he was solid barring a few moments! Liked seeing some trademark power runs again!
  22. Would like to see Demba get a few minutes as well. Would be good all round to have two out of three strikers firing. Awesome to have a good quality back up keeper. Not tested too much yet, but I bet its a confidence boost for the defence not to look back and see Dross Turmoil!
  23. Torres has been excellent. Good to see regardless of the opposition!
  24. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1783936-juan-mata-will-be-a-better-player-for-jose-mourinhos-rough-treatment-at-chelsea Interesting article from Guillem Balague about Juan Mata and Mourinho. Comparing his treatment to how Arda Turan was treated in the beginning by Simeone but now both he and the team are improved.
  25. Looking forward to seeing Mata, De Bruyne and Essien get starts! It's up to Mata to show Jose why he is the Special Juan! The Bison back in blue can't be bad! Will miss the first 15/20 due to work but if I come back and we are a couple to the good then I'll be chuffed with a more composed start. Gotta thrash these and build some confidence for a tough test against the Spuds which I am nervous about! Keep in the winning habit chaps
