    • ❗️❗️Next summer, plans are being formulated to delve into the transfer market to further improve the squad. Most of the work has been done, and there will be no overhaul like the last few windows, but they will keep tweaking.🗯 via@SamCunningham
    • I think the question is, does he do everything in his power to prevent these recurring injuries? Would losing some weight potentially help? He looks heavy to me, perhaps not fat heavy, but surely very bulky.
    • Can only sympathize with him. To have that much talent and not get to use it because of something he has little control over. I don't get why people want to sneer at him for it. Just wish him well him and move on. Maybe the club will move on past James given how frequent the injuries have become, but until then he is still a Chelsea player.  Hopefully he is back soon to provide Gusto backup. It's not like Malo is immune to injury either. And you don't want to know who will play RB
    • Eisenhower, General Zhukov ? Would those have been arrested as well ?
    • We are playing Leicester at a good game. Buonanotte is suspended, who has been brilliant for Leicester since joining them on loan. Big bonus for us. Fatawu has done his ACL after getting injured on international duty. Real maverick of a player and he was brilliant in the FA Cup game at the Bridge last season. Ayew also got inured on international duty and is another doubt. Keep 11 on the pitch and don't play too much of a high line with Vardy in their attack and we should win this.
    • Maresca said RJ felt something smell, hence we did not want to risk for the weekend. However, James posted a message on Instagram where he wishes happy holiday season for everyone.. So possibly we won't see him again this year. 2024 is once again a year to forget for him, third in a row.
    • Tbf different situations entirely. Kante started getting a lot of injuries at the end of his career - after playing a tonne of minutes for seasons on end for both club & country. Not when starting/coming up to his best years and having struggled to play regularly for seasons on end.
    • Kind of like kante. Maybe the Saudi league will be good for him.
    • Chelsea’s Reece James out of Leicester game with hamstring injury https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5937301/2024/11/21/reece-james-hamstring-injury-Chelsea/ Chelsea captain Reece James has suffered another injury setback after being ruled out of the Premier League match at Leicester City on Saturday. Head coach Enzo Maresca has revealed that 24-year-old James sustained a minor hamstring problem during training on Tuesday. This is the ninth time James has been ruled out with a
    • I'll never give up hope on Reece but would get in a Veiga type hybrid for RB in any case next season.  Full force Reece is among the best RBs in the world.
    • The future of English football https://www.scoutednotebook.com/i/151949621/the-future-of-english-football On Tuesday, I had a little bit of free time to do something I love to do – watch youth football. Belgium against England in the first round of UEFA U-19 EURO qualifiers was on the agenda, and there was a stream provided by the Bulgaria FA (they hosted the mini-tournament of qualifiers) that thankfully wasn’t quite as patchy as the Plovdiv pitch they were playing on.
    • Alfie may become the real deal in the Championship We will need to bring in a RB if Acheampong doesn't extend. At least a Veiga type hybrid
