We playing Newcastle at a good time. They have a bit of an injury crisis. Burn, Trippier, Krath, Botman, Lascelles all injured. Hall was not in the squad tonight due to a minor hamstring injury, so Miley played at RB. Livramento went off injured late in second half and had a rookie coming on at LB and Howe just said now that it doesn't look good when a player goes down like that. So assuming he is out weekend. We also have a day's extra rest than they do. That is most of their backline injured. Even with Estevao injured, we have players who can hurt them. Just need to not capitulate like we have done in recent seasons at SJP and keep firm against the hostile crowd. Keep 11 on the pitch and hopefully we can pick up a vital points on Saturday. Like I say, a good time to be playing them.

They beat Fulham tonight, they have bounced after getting beat by Sunderland Lets see what we have got Saturday

True and may i add the standards of many of these young players is not great at all, we can keep on makings excuses oh they still young or inexperienced or haven't played together much but we not that stupid. You can see quality if its there. We made some good signings but quite a few bad ones too.

Chelsea signing Quenda due in London for surgery https://www.tribalfootball.com/article/soccer-premier-league-Chelsea-signing-quenda-due-in-london-for-surgery-cbcabfff-fb72-437d-ad89-8c0a13b16117 Chelsea wing-back Geovany Quenda is facing surgery in London. Signed over the summer from Sporting CP, Quenda is spending the season on-loan with the Lisbon giants. The teen is due to undergo foot surgery this weekend in London. Record says Quenda has been carrying a metatarsal fracture suffered last month against Estrela Amadora. He is expected to be sidelined for two months as he recovers from the operation.

Agree. Hes very fond of SW 6 ''Chelsea and Jose Mourinho told me everything that I needed to hear at that moment of my career and he made it happen. The fans were outstanding with me, outstanding. I couldn't be more grateful. We had a great feeling connection straight away. ''

But Garnacho everyone was hating and he is doing good. Admittely I prefer Wharton or Elliot over him. But it is what it is.

wtf is this obsession with Mainoo? He looked really promising when he suddenly burst into the scene but has been completely irrelevant for ages now and can’t get a game in a horrible United midfield. If we seriously chose him over Wharton I’m going to lose my mind. Mainoo isn’t better than any of Santos, Essugo, or Lavia. I’d rather take our chances with constantly injured Lavia than throw Man United another bag of cash for a midfielder that doesn’t even play for them.
-
You forgot someone and put extra attacker instead.

Chelsea will sign at least one new midfielder in 2026 to help cover for injuries to Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo. (@Matt_Law_DT) 😵MORE: Joe Shields is currently leaning towards pursuing Kobbie Mainoo over Adam Wharton as things stand. Chelsea's concrete interest in both talented English midfielders remains strong amid ongoing squad planning. Other than at least 1 midfielder, Chelsea could sign a new centre back in the summer, depending on exits and Colwill’s return form. Chelsea have already spent the entirety of 2025 boosting the attack, which will be further aided by Quenda and Emegha.

By the way, the fascist pig Musk had his stock reach all time high yesterday. Not bad for a fascist, and probably close to be the first trillionare with the launch of his Space X IPO.

Most physically robust outfield players https://football-observatory.com/WeeklyPost526 The 526th CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post presents the most physically robust outfield players in terms of minutes played in official matches (club and national team) over the past year. Paraguayan international Júnior Alonso (Atlético Mineiro) tops the list, ahead of Belgium's Hans Vanaken (Club Brugge) and Argentina's Nicolás Otamendi (SL Benfica). Among players born in 2004 or later, the top three are Dutchman Wouter Goes (AZ Alkmaar), Ecuadorian Joel Ordóñez (Club Brugge) and Belgian Matte Smets (KRC Genk). Their ability to play matches at a high frequency will be a major asset for their careers. Colombia is the most represented country in the top 50 (seven players), reflecting both the tight schedule of the Colombian league and the physical strength of their players. The Post also presents the distribution of minutes according to the type of competition (club national, club international and national teams), as well as the rankings for the last two, three, four and five years. The following players top the tables for each of these periods: Nicolás Otamendi (two years), Bruno Fernandes (three years), Gustavo Gómez (both four and five years). With Lavia and Essugo missing all the time it's not really time to let him go this January, but for a good bid I wouldn't object.. He is not offering too much for current team.
-
Penny pinching bastards Juve, I expect them to offer around 10M

Thank god for a serious amount of money coming from the bench I said a few weeks back Garnacho is proving a lot wrong including me, him and Neto are really pulling it out right now and are our best wide men. Estevao is rested and out the team too much to be factored in, now he is unjured it's Garnacho and Neto are a must start. Gittens is truly awful, I mean last night against League 1 oppo he just looked woeful, can see him fading into the sunset him. First half was as bad as I have seen for ages, the lack of game control against a league 1 opponent was staggering, and I'm talking about basic ball control, keeping possession and making the basic choices right all the time we couldn't even do. I do not want to see us sitting in against Newcastle and if we are going to get beat get beat by having a go. Sanchez, Gusto, Fofana, Trev, Caicedo, Reece, Enzo, Neto, Palmer, Garnacho Pedro
