Aye I’m sure Dave Grohl’s physio will have done a good job coming up with a plan for him. Or they’ll build his fitness up then only play him for 60 minutes, 1 game a week…. Then after 3 weeks he will be injured again and its back to the drawing board 😂 If he cannot maintain his fitness from now to the end of the season after this bold claim - cut our losses & sell him. So regarding the game we need to be up for this. Last game was absolutely embarrassing.

Cama has a market value of at least €60M today and is still very young. If we can increase the offer from €60M to €70M, it would be a good deal.
-
Wouldn’t be opposed to it. Physically, Camavinga is a more aggressive, mobile player and he isn’t all that bad with the ball either. Fernandez playing as a 10 essentially, was happening more and more with Maresca & now basically every game with Rosenoir so says everything you need to know about how viable he is as a partner to Caicedo in that double 6. And if its between Palmer & Fernandez fully firing in that 10 position, I am sorry there is only one clear winner. Still any potential deal like this doesn’t help with the fact that Lavia is injury prone & am not even sure Essugo exists. Santos & Caicedo alone aren’t enough. Reece James isnt a CM either.

I was at the under 18s FA Youth Cup tie against Man City last night. A friend sent me the story of Paul Green's departure from the club. As soon as I saw it, I began discussing it with a bunch of other CFCW regulars. One of the theories we discussed was that Sonia wanted more autonomy because, notionally at least, she reported to Paul who then reported to the sporting directors and the CEO. Sonia has spoken a number of times about how closely she works with the sporting directors on various topics. Regardless of how she might personally have felt about her relationship with Paul, and I don't know either way, you can see how the manager would prefer not to have a third voice potentially diluting or gainsaying her own thoughts. I'm not fully convinced that Paul Green was that impactful around the team. He had the administrative role to manage the Team during the Emma Hayes era but she made all of the team decisions, including transfers. Right at the end Emma's time the club created the post of CEO for the women's team to manage the budget, business side, and player contracts. This limited Paul's function still further. I think these factors have more or less squeezed his role out of existence. I don't foresee anything changing other than everyone will have stopped pretending that Paul's job continued to exist in any meaningful way. Naturally Sonia would want to make all footballing decisions herself but, understanding that the club structure means she can't, she would want to work directly with the people who do. Whether it's right or it's wrong, Wintstanley and Stewart are those people. I also watched the women's under 21s v ManU last week so my personal score in academy games this month is Chelsea 2, Manchester 11.

75-80 for Neto? Our best chance is Spurs or West Ham are dumb enough to splash 40M on him..
-
Alvarez has 7 goals in 23 games in a La Liga that is more open. Why do people point to him as a saviour for us up front?
-
I want him here so badly it hurts. ffs get rid of Deflop Bayern Munich are not looking at Atletico Madrid's Argentina forward Julian Alvarez, boosting Arsenal's hopes of signing the 26-year-old. (Christian Falk), external

This next summer should transfer window should look a lot like last year’s. Clearing out loads of players that simply aren’t good enough. Tosin, Badiashile, Disasi. Send Essugo on loan. The tricky bit is seeing if the club have the balls to admit they fucked up with Gittens and Garnacho and even Delap and move them on after only 1 season. My gut says no on all 3. They’ll all get another make or break season. With Colwill returning from injury and Quenda + Emegha on the way we don’t actually need that much in terms of buys. I think it’s a lock that our 3 strikers entering next season with be Delap, João Pedro, and Emegha whether we like it or not. So no chance we buy yet another out and out striker. So I could see it being a fairly subdued window with incomings unless we go crazy selling multiple attackers. Depending on how Sarr looks the rest of this season and whether Lavia can stay fit for longer than a few games, those are the only 2 spots that are truly glaring.

As a player you wanna play, you make yourself available for these game, or any game for that matter. This is most of all Leeds at home, it's a massive game, historic if you like. If the players like Caicedo, Enzo and all of them for that matter don't know what it's about it's about time they learn't, put them in a dark room and show them old footage....it's more than a game They can upload all the nicest images of themselves after the game celebrating, but before hand there is a job to do and if it means painting war lines under your eyes you do it, Chelsea v Leeds matters to Chelsea fans and it should matter to the players.
-
Still better than Winstanley twerking like a moron whole last summer for Garnacho.
-
The only real concern is the same one I always have had with us this season. Tired legs and/or a super slow start that allows an inferior opponent to build confidence. We all know Leeds will try to press us aggressively from minute 1 and rattle us. So will the likes of Caicedo, Cucu, Enzo, etc who have played a load of minutes recently be fresh enough to deal with that?
-
You know what your going to get with this Leeds side, their fans will be loud and proud and it's our job to silence them I'm confident we will win, I want to see Estevao starting this.
-
Expecting another very tough game against them. They’ll raise their level knowing this is an important fixture historically like they did last time. So let’s hope our lads are willing to do the same unlike the reverse fixture. All 6 points on offer this week are mandatory if we’re a serious team. Arse smacked them up 4-0 the other day and that was with a changed team, wasn’t it? No reason we shouldn’t be trying to batter them like that if we’re truly up for it. Just hope we’re better prepared for their aggressive pressing and intesity which Maresca failed miserably at doing last time out.
-
I hope we slap the fuck out of Dirty Leeds this time around.
